Wise transfer lost
DrJack54 replied to bondjames007's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I don't send amounts under 100k baht however yesterday I did. 42k baht. Time taken 3 minutes. Unusual as it's usually instant. I have not registered my sim # -

access denied to enter in thailand
DrJack54 replied to kiwi147's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Need secure exit ? Answer NO. Secure entry for lifetime? Answer NO. Chill. You already wasted 6500 on ban check. Consider other options ongoing. Look into DTV and see if that suits your plans. Clearly under 50? -
Marriage Visa Renewal
DrJack54 replied to Snowbird 7's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Great thanks for the clarification. The OP is Canadian and the embassy is no longer issuing income affidavit. Perhaps you could advise him of options. Indeed he could use money in bank method for his extension however that requires 2 months seasoning. -
The term pension has been lost in translation. The Non O (based on retirement) actually has zip to do with being retired. The requirements are Over 50 yr and not working in Thailand. For income method the requirement is to show monthly transfers of 65k+. 12 month bank statement should be sufficient. Unfortunately some immigration offices ask for proof of "pension"

True. As pointed out this "safe entry services" is in the main for group of folk outlined above. Most common would be the ..."you come Thailand to muk get proper visa" In the main visa exempt crew. Several months in Thailand visa exempt + extensions. -
access denied to enter in thailand

The agent will just look at the passport. In the main the safe entry is for folk with frequent visa exempt entries Even perhaps including a refused entry. There are also certain visas that cause attention such as the "volunteering visas" during Covid and Ed visas. The agent will advise on fee depending on situation. Having a Ban I suggest don't try and enter with or without an agent. -
No. To do the change I'm currently satisfying both money in bank and monthly transfers. When I present for next extension (Oct) immigration will check past 12 months of money in bank compliance and I will also point out the 12+ monthly transfers to satisfy income method. After that the 800k no longer needs to be in bank. Giving long explanation in case anyone has plans to do same. Added bonus (for me) is basically zero funds in bank. Upon passing nothing tied up in bank

Think you are making very good point. My joint Oz does not provide income letter and has not for some time. I'm currently in process of changing to income method from funds in bank. 65k transfers in my mind minimal amount to live in Thailand. In any event folk currently with option of income letter could consider actually doing the monthly transfers. If your embassy change the ground rules it's of no concern. Many folk without embassy income letter using income method.

Guessing your question re payment is just a wind up. Clearly anyone wishing to use "safe entry" agent will contact agent and be advised of what to send eg passport copies and arrival flight details etc + payment options. Your point? You can do that quickly via contact in link I provided earlier. I had a chit chat via messenger. Not difficult.
