  1. Just use your common sense from reading all the threads regarding use of agents for extensions from a non O-A or non O based on retirement. MOST (without out a doubt) are using agent to avoid financial requirements for money in bank method. Some folk simplydon't have the funds and others that just don't wish to tie up money in a Thai bank with next to no interest. Then there is much smaller group that just like the assistance of an agent even though they pass all the requirements. Had you on ignore from long time ago. Move on
  2. Agents provide various levels of of service. And that was not outlined in the OP. Granted most of the time the client wants assistance with the financials. Money in bank method. However sometimes it is taking care of documentation etc. In some cases folk meet the financials however due to mobility issues etc want the assistance of an agent.
  3. No Fully explained and discussed in this attached thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/
  4. Some folk don't have or don't want to keep funds in a Thai bank.. Up to the individual
  5. Does not specify if the OP needs to just have the financial requirements covered. OR Just a hand holding/organize docs etc
  6. Bangkok Buddy Tanya. OP, possibly help if you mention what service is required from the agent.
  7. OP, nothing has changed. Best to mention which method for financials you are using. Money in bank or income method
  8. The entry prior to refers to date you must enter by. Upon enter you are stamped in for 60 days and the visa is "used" There is a print photo stall lower level. In fact you can just hand them pp and tell them "extension for tourist visa" and you are covered
  9. The 30 days starts from expiry date of current permit. In other works you don't lose days applying early. TM7 is a two sided form. If you print out your own do it as double sided. The fee is 1900baht. Requires photo. One set of photocopies is fine. TM30. ID page of pp. Last entry stamp. Photocopy of visa. TM6 if entered via land border.
  10. You completely miss the point. Covid changed everything. As I stated previously. Amnesty and covid extensions for very special circumstances. So again ....post advice on formulae to have an ongoing stay in Thailand in the future
  11. Stop nonsense posts. Clearly you have good knowledge of how to stay ongoing in Thailand for the NEXT 3 years. Please outline your plan. I'm sure it will be very helpful to others .
  12. Just to clarify ... Your expiry of permission of stay is Dec 14. That means that you can apply for next extension approx Nov 14. Your extension will be approved on the spot. That extension will expire Dec 14 2024. If you obtain reentry permit at same visit that reentry permit will also be valid till Dec 14 2024.
  13. Most immigration offices allow application for extension up to 30 days prior to expiry. Some of the larger offices such as CW and CM allow up to 45 days early. Your office will be 30. Talk with office and show flight out of Thailand. They can be flexible. In any event ...you are ok.
  14. Out of interest. Assume that means you plan to return to Thailand visa exempt. How long was your stay out of Thailand
  15. Or (3) couple of those years were due to covid and that provided period of amnesty and 60 day covid extensions. Your post means what. Is that a badge of honor. Good luck with next 3 years as a tourist .
  16. You almost seem proud of that and refer to it as FUN. If still intoxicated the airline should not have allowed you to board.
  17. That's a good plan. Thinking if it had been day or two more scrutiny would have been applied.
  18. Out of interest... How long did you spend in Saigon between exit/reentry Thailand
  19. Don't understand your post/thread. Extensions can be applied for 30/45 days prior to expiry. Even earlier by showing immigration office flight ticket out of Thailand. Which immigration office?
  20. OP, you left out details of your recent stay in Thailand. When did you exit? And plan to return. Meaning how much spent out of Thailand.
  21. Excellent detailed report. Posting to underline it. I did my renewal 2 to 5 yr last week at CW. The post I quoted covers everything. I went on a Wed with paperwork and was offered 9am appointment the following day. I specifically asked about the Q code online eLearing video. Advised that would not be required. very quick smooth process. My 2 year license was expired by 3 months. Cost: 505baht.
  22. Thinking OP needs job and work permit. Too much time on hands.
  23. Details of your expired non O-A are entered into new pp in very first page on new pp. Also your reentry permit stamp will be transferred.
  24. TM30 not required. You have ongoing permission of stay with your reentry permit. Rule change June 2020. CM is one office not following that rule change. There will be others
  25. That's obvious requirement. Now on ignore. Long overdue
