The immigration officer did not like the fact there were months with NO activity. Rubbish really as that has never previously been an issue for many years. As for obtain a non O (retirement) Visa?... yes that is possible you can do a "conversion" from tourist visa or visa exempt using TM86 and TM87 respectively. You would require 15+ days remaining on your current permission of stay. Longer at some offices.. Current thread running on that process if required

Again the requirements are very clear. Finally for extensions based on retirement the funds are not required to be shown from overseas. Strange Even if your extension is based on marriage the 400k is only required to be in bank for 2 months prior to application Then can be withdrawn.

So extensions marriage same address and immigration have required three TM30. Which immigration office would that be as I have never read a similar post. It's best to post genuine information to assist others.
