Mine is money in bank method (retirement) and have never provided bank statements. Of course for income method bank statements are required.

Out of interest..what service, meaning type of extension that agent helped you with? The OP mentioned last resort was to use agent and BTW that is for extension based on Thai child.

I would also like this explained. The posts of a simple form required at CW are correct. At same time I read posts with screenshot of completely different form. Think @ThailandRyan obtained a residence certificate recently at CW and posted a report.

When you deal with clerk ask for letter and also make 100 baht deposit. Explain you want the deposit then followed by letter. Should be 100+100(deposit) baht. Regarding bank statement.. which method are you using? Money in bank? ..should not require bank statements.. photocopies of bank book pages should suffice. Income method you need bank statements. Some banks cannot provide bank statements "on the spot" not sure about SCB.

CW will accept one day prior bank letter. Some immigration officers what to see "activity" on day of application. Not just update. Is there issue with obtaining bank letter on the day of application?

If he had visa or extension based on marriage and reentry permit he would not be refused. If he is flying visa exempt without onward flight he could be refused.

Very quick with the "Not Correct". It depends on the airline. Some will ask for nothing. Some will require onward flight WITHIN 30 days. Some will allow 60 with the "plan of extension" explained. Some will allow you to sign a waiver.

The onward flight may be required by the AIRLINE at feparture if flying visa exempt. There are easy ways around this. Obviously one is to purchase a "rent a ticket" 15usd.

If you are referring to the "problem solved" being the onward flight that's a minor issue. If he obtains a non O-A not sure if his first extension can be based on marriage. The non O-A itself requires insurance. His plan of enter visa exempt is good idea.

No. Prior to expiry of 60 day extension you will apply for 12 month extension based on Thai child. The requirements for the 12 month extension will be exactly the same as the extension that you recently obtained.

No. You could do a border run for visa exempt entry and obtain 30 day extension. OR You could obtain a 12 month extension by meeting financial requirements When do you plan to return to Thailand after going back home. Edit: As uj asked...if you are a parent or married to Thai you can obtain 60 day extension to visit family.
