OP, entry via air is unlimited as indicated by previous post. The time between entries is important.

The procedure is different at BKK and DMK airports. If your intending to obtain reentry permit at airport just indicate that and someone will assist. In a nutshell at BKK the office is zone 2 past security but BEFORE passport control. At DMK it's just other side of passport control. Advise imm officer that your obtaining a reentry permit.

OP, bit confused. You mention Not sure what that means. Agent cannot obtain a non O-A. Did you enter Thailand with a non O-A you obtained in your own country?. As for extensions being done in Phuket by agent.......I'm not aware of any that would have stamping in Phuket. Perhaps try Phuket forum..

I'm not sure what the go is. After jan 25 it seemed that eligibility was about how you entered Thailand. So if tv or visa exempt and obtained a non O later you still could obtain a CE.

I'm not aware of any agent that can obtain a residence certificate in Bangkok. BTW you obtain them at MTT. 200 baht. Takes couple of weeks, there mail it out to you. You must have previously made a 90 day report.. @ThaiVisaCentre can agents obtain residence certificate at MTT?

First up excellent post. I mentioned emergency pp earlier, however then vaguely recall that immigration do not like to place extension stamps in emergency pp? That could be incorrect.

He requires a bank account and a non O and an extension. Also may require a 30 day extension to his visa exempt entry. 1900 is for 12month extension. 2000 non O. Bank a/c ~ 4000. 30 day extension (if required). 1900. I outlined that option. I have you on ignore. Play the broken record tune elsewhere.

OP, have you carefully checked your pp. I fly often and just now checked my pp. Yes most pages are full, up to 4 pairs of exit and enter stamps. However there are few as per pics attached. A helpful io could maybe squeeze in extension. Just a thought as not many options.

You possibly do not have a Thai bank account. Enter Thailand visa exempt you would require the agent to 1. Open bank account. 2. Obtain the non O. 3. Obtain 12 month extension based on retirement. Should cost approx 30k. ~ 5k of that is for the bank account. If you have your own money to deposit (800k). Then it's just cost of non O and extension and agent can do the bank account. Possibly might also need 30 day extension to your visa exempt to provide adequate time. That path approx 12k

With VFS is it possible to obtain emergency service? I know with applying for Oz pp at embassy you can pay an extra fee for a rush job.. Edit: my post is incorrect. I was thinking of "emergency pp" .....yes possible but I don't think immigration are happy to put extension stamps in emergency passport.

Edit: above I mixed up two posts from different guys. Bottom line is I'm going to Bangkok Bank tomorrow with my gf, who happens to have account with that bank. Intend to specifically ask re open account and have gf as silent signature. Thinking I already know answer. Will be waste of time. Even if possible still think illegal to access that account upon death.

Think some of these posts are guess work. Above you use ..."but assume she could draw down on it" Assume not good enough. In the other post just now you state....... "Co-signatory accounts are 'business as usual' at Bangkok Bank. The co-signatore can be anyone you like -- no need to be a wife or relative."..... If that's the case why isn't your gf co-signator on your 800k account for immigration.

I hope you obtain some useful replies. I don't see the point of adoption at all. Why cannot you just make a Will and indicate what you wish to give him. BTW good mate of mine tried to adopt step daughter from previous relationship. He takes care of her. 3 lawyers and much money later run into dead ends. Not saying it isn't possible but again why?

Years gone by possible. In recent times not so simple. Bangkok Bank as just one example require a residence certificate if your opening account in Bangkok that would require you to have made a 90 day report which visa exempt entry would not have. Your embassy may provide confirmation of your address however not all provide this service. Oz being one example. For those entering visa exempt and looking to obtain non O time is important. I suggest using an agent to open an account. Quick simple and saves time..
