  1. The guy you replied to is doing FIRST extension from a non O. While possible...a one year lease requirement would be extreme.
  2. You mean that you needed to report in person since your online report rejected?
  3. The OP did not receive ONE reply for 3 hours and I bumped his post. Concentrate on directly assisting threads. Rather than post link ...answer the OP. His question "Do I need CoR when requesting tax TIN number?" That is a nonsense. I recently renewed my pp. OP stated nothing about agent. Proof of address in Thailand is not required.
  4. You are posting incorrect information The vast majority of visa exempt entries currently provide a 30 day stamp.
  5. Bumping thread as zero reply. 1. You do not require a COR to renew passport. 2. Thinking a rental agreement and TM30 would be sufficient
  6. Having been out of Thailand for 5+ months she should not have been questioned for 2 hours. There is no stated limit on visa exempt via air however if used ongoing especially back to back with little time out of Thailand then you can be refused
  7. Think it's 30. Entry date counts as day 1. Perhaps she has had recent entries to Thailand visa exempt?
  8. Bit off topic but .... When you plan a mini holiday it's hard to top Saigon.. Bus at airport to Bui Vien St is under 20baht. Excellent entertainment options. Return Bangkok to Saigon 5400b
  9. For your next extension at CW you have two issues. First up the financials are checked retrospectively and the bank book will show non compliance. Also agent arranged extensions would rarely be obtained at CW. My solution would be to continue with using agent OR exit Thailand just prior to expiry of current permission of stay without reentry permit and reenter visa exempt and obtain new non O using your own funds. Granted messy however enables you to start over and ongoing extensions at CW. Edit: when did the error occur with previous years financials. Discussed in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1282005-retirement-extension-switching-from-using-an-agent-experiences/
  10. CW? Have you tried this link https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  11. Process outlined here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1297092-non-o-visa-retirement-purpose/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1325238-procedures-for-non-imm-o-and-one-year-retirement-extension-from-a-visa-excempt-30-day-entry/
  12. There are 80 immigration offices. Let's wait for widespread use of this form. Even then could mean.,.Nothing
  13. Be aware that if the non O is based on retirement to obtain 12 month extension using income method, you would need to show 12 monthly transfers.
  14. OP, you could consider an METV which would provide stress free stay up to 9 months and air travel to any nice break places such as Vietnam. No concerns about visa exempt flights.
  15. Ok understand now.. USA, UK, AU stoped providing "address affidavit" Agent can obtain COR at eg Pattaya, however that doesn't help much. You could check it out. Can't see you obtaining COR at CW immigration
  16. How did you get a COR previously to obtain your TDL. BTW: Driving license can renewed up to a year past expiry.
  17. There are many ways to have a 4-5 month stay in Thailand. You seem focused on COR. You will not obtain one at CW without a TM47 report.
  18. I'm missing something with your dates. You are saying that your entry from Vietnam past Jan 3 hence need to enter visa exempt?
  19. There are no 30 day extension to a non O. You can obtain 12 month extension or if married to thai you can also obtain a 60 day extension
  20. Personally I don't think the boarding pass would come into it. I was thinking about my own travel habits when I return to Thailand from Oz. I always fly to Saigon and spend week there and subsequently onto Bangkok. I have ongoing extensions with reentry permit to Thailand however if I did not.....I would obtain an eVisa in Oz for Thailand and use it after my trip to Vietnam.
