  1. Good advice. Also with TP and insurance getting the flick July 1 and land borders getting back to normal, nothing stopping visa run to nearby consulate..or border bounce for another visa exempt entry. All depends on desired length of stay required.
  2. Had to read that 3 times. Crazy idea. Forget it.
  3. As others have pointed out just purchase a multiple reentry permit 3800baht. Forget the UK pp. BTW reentry permit is a stamp that takes half a page. You can obtain at airport upon departure.
  4. I rent out couple of places using an agent and always with a 12 month lease. My agent organizes the TM30 and provides tenant with what is required namely receipt.
  5. For one day they will/should not fine you. In your situation I suggest you skip obtaining the 7 day to leave dodge and just present at immigration at departure.
  6. My understanding re obtaining a METV or some others such as non O-A is that they can only be obtained in your own country or country where you are a permanent resident. Be aware that land borders are more easy now and you have options from Thailand to close by consulates.
  7. What about hitchhiking to border. Don't see a lot of that in Thailand.
  8. A precis of this information in your OP would have enabled better advice .... Alas...
  9. Some immigration offices have straight out stopped issuing covid extensions as per reports. If dealing with one of these offices you have 2 options. File a TM30 change of address and apply at another office OR use an agent.
  10. Bad service? You don't need to mention agent by name (best not to). I can only imagine folk using agent if not located in Bangkok. Fortunately for Oz folk the embassy still provides this service.
  11. Indeed. Was actually due to ubonjoe glowing endorsements of the new system that I gave it a go. Still in state of shock of success reports using new system. So Monday 27, I attempt to use online (again). Hopefully will report back success. Such a game changer if the new system proves to be the ongoing success story.
  12. Must be onward flight for airline at departure. Bus, rail ticket etc won't cut it.
  13. OP, you have a Thai bank account with funds in place. Return visa exempt and apply for non O retirement quickly. Subsequently obtain 12 month extension. Which immigration office? Regarding onward flight for visa exempt you could buy throw away ticket or Google "onwardflight" you will find rent a ticket options..
  14. I would have thought it would be common sense for OP to state location.. Apparently not..
  15. You could start with ThaiVisaCentre (they use LINE) There are others. I haven't read many recent reports of covid extensions. There are a few bad reports of some offices refusing. Be aware that if you entered visa exempt you will attend IT mall Laski. 3rd floor. Entered with tourist visa you attend CW.
  16. First up I suggest don't do it. This other bit is vague but you could do some research. Years back was chatting to guy who had exactly same bike. He was dismantling the bike completely and sending it as parts to UK. Maybe it was just rubbish but you could look into it.
  17. You can tick a box on the affidavit (link below). Many tick the second box. Keep an eye on reports of covid extensions from the various offices. Some are playing games. An agent to obtain the extension is an option if your immigration office are being stupid. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=727659
  18. Your 90 report is done with Hua Hin. You should organize to do it via mail or online. The only way you could do it at CM is to do a TM30 and dont do that.
  19. You can always obtain reentry permit at airport if it's better option.
  20. You underline the point that with most threads the OP should state the immigration office that they deal with. There are always offices/officers that play games.
  21. It's disappointing that Samut Prakan is playing this game. They are not alone. Couple of other "make their own rules" immigration offices do this also
  22. Does not apply to the OP. He is entering with a reentry permit and current extension. TM30 not required
  23. OP, from immigration Documents to be submitted Application form TM.7, photograph 4×6 cm., application fee is 1,900 (Application must be made in person) Copy of applicant's passport (copy of passport with your photo, last arrival stamp, Re-entry Permit stamp, Departure card (TM.6) and last extend visa
