  1. Just to be clear OP are you asking about 90 day report to CW. Using online yes they do and also in person and via mail
  2. I'm not deciding anything for the OP. Again his thread asked for 6 month stay. Your plan as outlined is 5 months. In addition while he touched on non O (briefly) it's not clear if he is over 50. Basic requirement for non O retirement. The METV or back to back tourist visas are just 2 examples of 6 month plan.
  3. That is just yet another immigration office playing games. Earlier this year Hua Hin did same thing to 2 friends of mine. HH wanted letter from their embassy. Guess what (no surprise) 5k each fixed the issue..
  4. You missed the point. Not sure how immigration regards folk obtaining ongoing non O retirement visas For example can someone obtain a non O and after 90 days do a border bounce reentry and obtain another non O retirement. I realize your post did not state that. Point is people asking about 6 month stay often plan to do that ongoing (snowbirds). In any event as stated previously better options for the OP available and have been outlined in thread.
  5. That will work. Not so sure about it as an ongoing plan to provide 5 month stay by obtaining non O (without extension) year after year. The OP wanted 6 month stay. Think better options available.
  6. Well it's official ..I'm a convert to the new online system. This is now my second using the fab new system. So filled in the online form yesterday (Monday) 9am and now approved 11.23 am (Tuesday) This is for CW. As pointed out earlier by ubonjoe there is an auto fill for all but first couple of fields which takes out any small errors. Happy chappy here as this method is so so quick and can be done from anywhere in Thailand.
  7. So this 90 report online was made yesterday 9am (CW). How long should I wait. Received email application received and status is "pending". If no joy tomorrow think will use postal option.
  8. I assume your domestic flight is stand alone ticket. Be aware that for reentry permit at Suvarnabhumi the office is past security check just prior to passport control Zone 2. Whereas for DMK the office is just the other side of passport control.
  9. Ubonjoe posted useful links in the above thread.
  10. Your thread was asking about 6 months stay and that has been answered. As for a ME Non O (marriage) one year visa you can obtain that from Savannakhet (and other places). Easy requirements. You can obtain a non O marriage or retirement (90 day visa) followed by 12 month extension. Financials required. I find the visa and visa exempt options available in Thailand excellent.
  11. I previously used to bring in cash from Oz and exchange at super rich green. Mostly 30k aud. Just now I checked $40k aud using lug it from Oz and use super rich OR use Wise with online banking. Wise better by 2,600baht
  12. To exit and reenter prior to expiry of visa and be stamped in for 12 months you would require insurance for that period. Do you have a valid non O-A or have extension to a non O-A. Edit: just read that you "renewed" your visa. What you mean is that you obtained an extension. The visa is not extended but rather your permission of stay is extended.
  13. Indeed it was. Always someone around to sign off on something when grease is applied.
  14. Immigration most likely require you to provide a TM30. Checking into most hotels they file a TM30 and can give you screenshot.
  15. Strange how if you use an agent there is no under consideration period.
  16. Thankyou ubonjoe. How easy is that. My report is now pending. Hopefully this whiz bang new system will continue with no hitches. Such a quick simple process.
  17. Hopefully can post question about online report here. So just now started to fill in my online report. The issue is address. I cannot recall on my previous online report I included my room # or not. Sounds trivial however as I understand it the info must match exactly your previous report. Wishing I had taken screenshot of last time I fill in the information.
  18. New Zealand is a mini vacation from Australia not Thailand. Tickets from Thailand to NZ would be expensive and long and involve a stopover. If you wish to go to NZ do it, but not as a visa run.
  19. You could obtain a tourist visa at Vientiane. Depends where your staying in Thailand. Keep in mind that you could also do 2 border bounce for visa exempt entry. With extension to each that's 4 months.
  20. The answer to most of your questions is No. There are a zillion threads on this topic. Google "Elite Visa AseanNow" and all the information is there. Also an interesting thread of a review concentrating on the negatives.
  21. Police arrive where? ...... The OP is aware of his options. Some have suggested apply for extension which will be rejected and be given 7 days to exit OR just exit with one day overstay. Simple. Up to him.
  22. This is very boring. The thread you refer to about having funds on your person for visa exempt entry, I was correcting you. 10k for individual and 20k family Also that it had to be in cash. As for onward flight I always state that onward flight may be asked for by airline. So does our expert ubonjoe. As for the OP he has 2 options. Go to immigration and request an extension and when denied will be given 7 days to exit Thailand and pay 1900 for application. Other choice is to exit Thailand with one day overstay. In most likelihood he will not be fined. Has nothing to do with showing delayed flight. I also note several others have suggested to just exit, uj being one.
  23. Or breaks a leg walking into airport.
  24. Couldn't care less. Very happy to return to using mail in option. Zero concerns.
  25. You can obtain another tourist visa at nearby consulate. OR you can do border bounce and obtain visa exempt entry. You can make two visa exempt entries via land border per calendar year.
