I ride along Jomtien Beach road every other day. I see foreigners riding in the wrong direction everyday I travel along this road. I expect to see the Thai's riding wrong way but find it strange seeing so many foreigners

It's a front loader, it sounds like it need levelling, if it is sitting on an uneven surface it will jump around. When you return to Pattaya, go into the Electrolux office, talk to the old guy there, his English is OK.

Lots of these guys in Thailand. You can blame Dan about Thailand, he's always broadcasting how cheap it is to live in Thailand. Thailand is cheaper than the west but you just can't move here and expect a good life living of an aged pension. You need money to enjoy yourself, go out to restaurants, travel, shopping. This is what you need and much more to have a healthy, liveable life. Hopping on and off a baht bus to get to the bar for a few beers and fish and chips for dinner would be a miserable existence. BTW, Flybird condo is an awful dull, spooky place for an elderly guy, it's got heaps of beautiful, young bar girls living there but these guys are not looking for a teenager.

It's the same in Australia when you call a plumber to fix the blocked dunny. It's cheaper for cash, you want a receipt you pay extra.

In the eighties I travelled with 3 mates from Bangkok to south Thailand (Samui) night time journey. We were given the back seat, we were so happy just the 4 of us and the whole back seat. We were given it because no one wanted to sit there, it's the coldest spot because the AC unit is at the rear of the bus, the coldest air. We were stuffing our clothing into the air ducts, bloody freezing
