My Last Electric Bill, Ever!
SAFETY FIRST replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Very popular in Australia. 👍 Every house I owned had one. -
Tragedy on Lufthansa Flight from Bangkok to Germany
SAFETY FIRST replied to NextG's topic in Thailand News
This would be quite an awful sight. I bet the passengers were terrified, thinking is this contagious etc. I flew many times to and from Jeddah, every year during Mecca, Hajj, you'd expect a passenger to die (rediculous religion forcing these elderly people to attend), most deaths were silent, passing in the toilet. Very old people, probably never flown or traveled before in their life. Before landing the flight attendants would knock on the toilet door, no answer, look inside then lock the door, the plane would land. Abu Dhabi was an issue because your connecting flight to BKK would be delayed for a few hours. -
What is the right stuff. My diet is full of quality foods, occasionally I'll have a few beers, French fries, eat a cake etc. but generally I eat nutritional food. Control what you eat, continue with the gym you will reap the rewards. We are all managers, we must manage our lifestyles, if you can't you have failed as a manager. Some fail as managers, this is why we see so many overweight and obese people these days. POOR MANAGERS

And so the exodus of quality expats begins. This time it's personal
SAFETY FIRST replied to Galong's topic in Phuket
Sadly, 1 expat leaves Thailand 5 foreigners arrive. Too many expats here now, go home foreigners. How good it was back in the late 90's. No moaners, whingers or whiners, only genuine foreigners and beautiful Thais here. I miss the good old days. These forums are saturated with bitterness, nastiness, just delinquents complaining at times -
I recently read that a couple of Brits were causing trouble in a restaurant, soi Buakhao because their baked beans was touching the eggs on their 99 baht breakfast. Sadly, the owner was used to the Brits always moaning and complaining about this and that but they started getting very angry and showing aggression on this occasion. 😮

I've got a condo at PKCP, bought it off the plan many years ago. Never lived in it, had it rented out occasionally. Great location behind Big C extra, close to town, very low yearly maintenance, got everything going for it. They sell for reasonable price, check it out.

Romanian Tourist Falls to Death from Pattaya Hotel Balcony
SAFETY FIRST replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Sadly, some guys leave their common sense at the airport on arriving to Thailand. They end up spending all their money, money they've saved over the years, inheritance money, money from this and that, then when the money has run out....... It makes the headlines. 😔- 61 replies

It is the most annoying ad, keeps coming back after closing. Its recently been added to the forum, if I have a very slow internet connection I must wait quite some time for the X to appear to close.

Khon Kaen buffet fines diner 9000 baht for uneaten food
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Yep, I'm anti buffets. I Always order of the menu (alacarte) when traveling, avoid the buffets. -
No life is dynamic, always changing. House renovations never stop, children get older, different schools, different friends, I meet different parents. It never stops, I love it.

Living in the same house in Pattaya I bought 2001. Still here, wouldn't be anyway else. I used to get stopped by the people selling timeshare on Pattaya Beach, they would ask where would you like to go if you had the money, I would always reply Pattaya. I'm very lucky, been working offshore on a 28 day rotation, I get 1 month away every other month, it suits me.

Bloody useless in Thailand. You'd struggle to find a single Thai that understands Morse Code

Motorcyclist Run Over by Truck on Pattaya Highway
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Motorbikes are out of control also, some riders think they are invincible, their carefree attitude amazes me. -
Probably the solution. Throw some money at the problem, it works in Thailand.

Best you take 1600 baht with you for the tm30 fine.

Renewed driving licences at DLT Surin
SAFETY FIRST replied to Sjoerd's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Of course they would. 2 x free certificates (0baht) for 1000 baht. Lots of beer money for them. -
This lying technique is suitable for these mismanaged delivery services. Most are reliable and on schedule but the others are annoying.

You must sign the cars blue book as shown above.

I have. I had 3BB connected back when they offered 2mb bandwidth for 590 baht per month. It was pegged at 590 baht a month but 3BB regularly doubled the bandwidth, increasing the bandwidth from 2 to 4mb and so on, these increases happened regularly until I had Fibre installed. BTW, who else is enjoying those 'temple street' adds, can't get enough. 😂

From the title, I Thought you had motorbike issues.
