A superfood, but it is the utility that sets it apart. A leftover slice .... toss an egg on, BREAKFAST!

Thai PM fumes over delayed quake warnings; demands action
Dcheech replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No alert was going to warn people about an earthquake, better reporting after the earthquake might have been good, still Warning about, say a Tsunami generating after ... yeah ... of course they refused to act on that back when, as it might damage tourism. Turns out the Tsunami did damage tourism. Go figure. -
248 Mahidol Rd, Pa Daet Sub-district, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50100 Sloane's has a shop on the north side of Mahidol, just past the PTT, heading east. Its in a office Park, tricky to find, as you don't see it from where you turn in at. Not a pie connoisseur, but use their products, & for years. Sloane's is great. Using Chorizo sausage today, to add to a soup. Sage onion Dressing & gravy for Christmas (Thanksgiving) sides. Sold at Rimping & Tops also.

It happened to me in both 2022 & 23. Last October I included a 90 day notice form pre filled out, as I assumed a 90 day notice would be processed along with my Non – O extension based on retirement, (non family) as it had the previous years. Wrong again. This year they handed it back to me. Never assume anything about CM immigration.

Why is All the Hate Towards Russia and Not China?
Dcheech replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
Who is ignoring Chinas role?! MAGA heads for sure. Putin would never have invaded the Ukraine in 2022 without assurances from Celestial leader Xi. Recall his visit in February 2022 just days before he send his divisions into the Ukraine and triggering the deadliest land war in Europe since WWII. They both did the bro love thing, and declared a NO LIMITS partnership. MAGA heads like to forget Putins greatest ally is Xi, not Donald Trump. The end result of Putin & Trumps puckery will benefit Celestial Leader Xi more than either of those two prats. Meanwhile they are yammering about the tariff war with China, not realizing how they are actually helping XI. -
Would you talk to a famous Youtuber if you saw them?
Dcheech replied to Harrisfan's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Rich Eisen & Graeme ?, The Scottish hoof trimmer, guy. Only two I might recognize, I wouldn't call either famous. If I saw them out here I would politely inquire where they're trying to get to, because THIS place, is not it. -
Russia Rejects Trump's Temporary Ukraine Ceasefire Offer
Dcheech replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Surrender or die Vladimir's latest negotiating stance is kinda harsh. I would expect the Putin, communist, war monger, apologists, to massage that latest communique from the kremlin. People might take it at face value. -
Back in the mid aughts/naughts, Koh Tao became famous among travelers for the motorcycle scam. Same as the jet ski scam. People claim they moved on to more lucrative & lethal activities in the years since.

Ukraine must cede territory in peace talks, says US
Dcheech replied to Social Media's topic in World News
No, we are claiming that Donald Trump is a soviet, er, Russian asset, either through honey trapping and money investment in his golf courses & resorts when US & western banks would not, likely both. Putin owns him & his MAGA heads. Capeesh- 232 replies

Kremlin Slams Macron’s Nuclear Comments as ‘Confrontational’
Dcheech replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Only you would pretend its an issue. -
No idea how it works. ill try and get up a review. Home pro is on my feed, & they were advertising it today. As a coffee junky, with a newly installed induction stove, I'll buy one, even if not a serious moka pot drinker.

Kremlin Slams Macron’s Nuclear Comments as ‘Confrontational’
Dcheech replied to Social Media's topic in World News
you guys ? Anything more specific? Malaysia Flight was 17 shot down in 2014 by Russian forces, disguised as Russian Ukrainian forces. I made sure not to book any airline flying over Russia or The Ukraine airspace, after that. More expensive in a few cases, sure, but its my cash. Even back then Putins true mind set was easy to see, -
Kremlin Slams Macron’s Nuclear Comments as ‘Confrontational’

Because isolationist Republican senators blocked all attempts by President Roosevelt wanted to send aid in 39 and 40, until they were able, barely able, to get lend lease through. Something the Republican party STILL doesn't like to remember, or talk about. After Dec 7, those very same senators and their party, who had stopped aid from being sent to nations fighting Nazism, wrapped themselves in the flag and became, wait for it, Super Patriots. Some things never change. -
I'm sorry to disturb the sensibilities of The Good View fans & frequenters. However I go to Riverside, and have for, uh, is it, four decades or is it five now?! No reason to change and no reason per my dinner at The Good View. Again sorry if I bothered you with my review, which is what this OP was about, if I read that correctly. Still I'll try and do better, but ... it is what it is. Cheers

There was nothing to recommend The Good View over going to a nearby restaurant I frequent. Friends who have been there since agree with my analysis. However, excuse, let me be specific, the food was good, but less than the Riverside and for a higher price. They also did not have the selection of Thai & western food that the Riverside has. The music, I can't really compare as that was just getting started when we left. No reason to go back, not that I hate it. You pay for a meal & cover the bar tab, I'll meet you there, happily so. On the other hand, The Riverside; I go there with my wife, with friends, & even took mommy & daddy a decade back. I took them because I could count on a nice sunset ambience on the river, with a mix of Thai and western food that they would like. PS Read my original post again - nothing to do with the staff, everything to do with sister in law & her husband.

Many years back. The Good View's food was fine, albeit nothing memorable. The dinner that night was memorable. Nothing to do with restaurant, it was the people. We are technically related, the first and last time we had a meal together. No reason to switch from going to the Riverside. Been doing that for decades now.
