  1. They can't. It's all explained here: https://wise.com/help/articles/2932335/guide-to-thb-transfers
  2. I think OP means the Cars For Sale (in Thailand) section. The Start New Topic button doesn't appear there for me either, using Firefox and Win11 on laptop.
  3. Yes, but I prefer to do my banking once a month and forget about it. Not enough gains to be had for the additional effort IMO. YMMV.
  4. I have GBP and THB accounts as I think they're created by default as I use these currencies, but balance is always zero as I use Wise purely as a transfer service. This is how they started out and I've just continued with the same arrangements.
  5. True's Thor sim was mentioned on here recently as being unlimited, 15Mbps and 2,899 THB.
  6. No, just a straight transfer from my home bank to my Thai bank using Wise as the processor.
  7. OP needs to give more details for any decent analysis. Value of transaction. Source Bank or institution. Recipient Bank. Method of funding. Reason for transfer. My guess is that it was either over 49,999 THB or the reason was for property purchase or long stay.
  8. OP. You have 10 images there from yesterday, but sorry I've never used it so don't know how to delete anything.
  9. When you apply online you enter your address. The system sends it to the appropriate office for processing based on that address. Note though that sandyf's experience was in mid 2023 and as has been explained to you, the system has changed since then.
  10. Mentioned a few posts up - keep your boarding passes. Not 100% guaranteed but a good base.
  11. I thnk the face scan system being referred to removes the need to show your boarding pass/passport from check-in/bag drop to boarding as identification is intended to be done by facial recognition. It's not the camera at the immigration checkpoint. The system was supposed to go live on December 1st but there's been no reports on here of it being operational since then. Did you experience that?
  12. Another option is to contact them on Facebook. I found them quite responsive on there when I broke the 100GB allowance a while back, when thinking I had unlimited. https://www.facebook.com/dtac/
  13. This minibus mentioned upthread seems still to be operating. Streetview
  14. Thailand has no such requirement for Canadian (and many other) passport holders. They only require it to be valid for the period of intended stay.
  15. They are just as wrong with their advice this time as they were about you needing a transit visa.
  16. They won't even answer if it's the small hours of the morning.
  17. They've probably got a selection of lanyards and put on the one for whichever airline they're currently operating for.
  18. Prices in AUD. Less than 20,000 THB.
  19. I've never had any significant problem with them either, but to clarify your post the wheelchair services are provided by the airports, not the airlines.
  20. That sounds like the immigration auto gates? This article is about another system for bag drop, boarding etc where normally you would show your ID and boarding pass but now will be done using facial recognition. Despite their claims it does not appear to be getting used yet for all departures (if any).
  21. That's down to your settings and can be set to show the full price from the outset.
  22. Always good to know about a repair service in Nashville, USA on a South East Asian forum. Thanks. 🙄
  23. Thread was actually started by a newsbot re-reporting a Pattaya Mail article that was flawed.
