  1. There's a typo in the word residents in the original post. Try this or go to "Tax and Accounting" and it's currently the second article. https://www.aseanbriefing.com/news/thailands-global-income-tax-overhaul-implications-for-residents-and-investors/
  2. It's seemingly a new forum "feature" to screw up links. Just copy and paste these into your browser address bar. https://www.alottechs.com/product/select-true6mbps https://www.alottechs.com/product/select-sim-thor
  3. Copy and paste it into your browser's address bar.
  4. Just outside the school.
  5. Another medium sized bus leaving from Pattaya mentioned here:
  6. I didn't mean to infer they had found the THOR SIM at that price but any unlimited at 2,600 THB. As you say the AIS one may be a 100GB version if not a grandfathered package (if such exists). I think it's the percentage rise rather than the actual figure which makes users highlight it. It appears to be large and sudden if you've not been keeping an eye on things over the year since your last purchase.
  7. My Redmi phone has a "Battery" setting which shows the %age of use by each app. Does your Samsung have anything like that?
  8. I have a couple of NT Thunder SIMs in use for data but my understanding is these have been discontinued and are no longer available. There may still be some remaing stock of 1 month and 3 month versions. They were 900 THB unlimited for a year but were meant for fixed point internet rather than in a phone which suited me. In my phone I have an AIS prepaid monthyl deal with limited speed and volume for 200 THB which is enough for my usage. True's THOR SIM is the best recent offering I've seen mentioned on here at 2,899 THB for unlimited 15Mbps which makes your 2,600 THB sound good.
  9. The head trauma reported may have been artistic licence by the reporter, I honestly don't know. There was a lot of blood, but I can't tell where it's coming from and my source reported a broken neck as the cause of death (second hand Thai source so take that as you will). Difficult to see 100% due to the shadow of the umbrella, but it looks like a full face helmet. I'm not aware of his identity but I don't believe I knew him
  10. I was sent photos in the immediate aftermath of the incident. Helmet, full length jeans, no flip flops.
  11. I think you just got a lazy or ignorant check-in clerk.
  12. No, and as already mentioned above, if the foreigner is the guy pixellated out under the white umbrella then he was wearing a helmet.

  19. Do Roong Reuang even provide a service? This is on their website:
  20. It's an old thread but might give you some ideas. https://aseannow.com/topic/719388-granite-worktops/
  21. Around September 2006. I found a Pattaya Mail news story saying there was a Buddhist opening ceremony on Friday September 7th of that year.
  22. Someone posted a sign from one immigration office that said that but the official rule is 15 days up until the deadline.
  23. That entry refers to DTV rules. Change to 37563.pdf for VE60 related entry.
  24. Another refusal here when submitted online following a trip outside Thailand. Jomtien immigration office. No reason given this time which I have received in the past. This was also using a new account following the previous email address being discontinued, but not sure if that had any effect on the outcome.
  25. When you set up a new transfer in Revolut it asks for the country, currency, account number, BIC/Swift, First, middle and last names and an optional email address. Have you entered these?
