The Grand Sole in between Centric Sea and 2nd Road is currently being totally redeveloped but it seems to have been going on for years so I would think it's almost done by now. I don't think it's Marriott but IHG with a massive complex stretching from 2nd Road right through to Beach Road. It's been very quiet recently so don't know if it's still in their plans, but the refurbishment of the Grand Sole was the first stage of it. Not Pattaya but Marriott do still have a place in Naklua.

Dubai - train from Concourse A to Concourse B. Doha (Qatar) - train from the Concourse A/B/C intersection to the Concourse C/D/E intersection. Dubai has issues if you'rer transiting to/from a non-Emirates flight where you have to travel to a different Terminal, but just like BKK, the different concourses in Terminal 3 are either connected by walkways or the train.
