Not entirely a waste of time as it guarantees you a seat on the bus you have booked. If you wait until you get there and join the queue to buy a ticket it could sell out before you reach the front of the queue.
It was a waste of 24 baht booking fee however as it could have been booked direct with Roong Reaung for 141 baht all in. You would still have to queue at the desk to get the "real" ticket.

I know of two people in the past month who renewed their passports and succesfully reported their 90 days on-line. One UK passport and one USA, both approvals from Jomtien immigration.
Yes, assuming your office allows this. ;)
He's now reported the press conference was just immigration encouraging people to use the on-line system. He asked a few questions you can see in his report.
Someone else with what sounds like the same issue and a solution.

There's a new Cambodia on-line E arrival app which should be completed before you travel. I'm not sure of exactly what it needs but a mate who's there just now mentioned it.
The airlines use a system called Timatic to check visa requirements and some of them provide an interface to the Timatic data. I like to use Emirates' one which can be found here:
https://www.emirates.com/th/english/before-you-fly/visa-passport-information/visa-passport-information-results/?widgetheader=visa&nationality=se&destination=th
The wording it uses is "Visitors who are visa exempt but do not hold return/onward tickets could be refused entry."
As you have a visa this warning does not affect you.
Proposed by Paetongtarn Shinawatra, but "clarified" a few days later that she "meant a month of cultural events, concerts, decorations, markets, and festivals, leaving the current water celebration days the same in current provinces".
Thanks both. Just been playing about with it and it seems it's automatically added to the initial price when the card is selected as the payment method. Time to change cards.
When did this happen or can anyone else confirm it? Are you sure it's not a fee from your bank?
I'm an infrequent Grab user but have my overseas credit card linked to my account and have never noticed any 3% surcharge.
Two mates in the last couple of months have successfully submitted 90 day reports on-line and had them approved after receiving new passports. Both in Jomtien. One USA passport and one UK passport.
How long ago was your experience?
That's per year, not per trip but it's wrong anyway.
That's because only one extension is allowed per visit before leaving the country, and you've used it. The seven days is a courtesy to allow you to get packed and exit Thailand.
Add me to the list of those who have had a washing machine hose burst. In my case it was the hot water supply and I came home to a kitchen full of steam but it was a small breach so not a vast quantity of water although still enough to do damage. There are accessible taps but even now I don't turn them off when I'm away.
