  1. I don't think E-Extensions are available yet for Non Imm O Marriage visas, and even if they were it's Bangkok only.
  2. Qatar will give you a free change if they change away from a Qsuite aircraft. Pic is from a few years ago but it's still the case today, however they make so many changes it's often difficult to time it right and be sure of a Qsuite.
  3. To talk to a human on Air Asia live chat rather than the bot. Type "Change email" to bot. Ignore responses until you see a "Talk to all star" button. Click on the button. Enter requested details. You'll be put in the queue for a human.
  4. No. Business and First Class passengers only.
  5. Their teacher probably doesn't allow voice calls in class time.
  6. In a recent thread on the same subject someone suggested shining a laser pen at them would get rid of them.
  7. You lose the protection that paying by card offers. Could be important if something goes wrong.
  8. But the "scammer" has offered to pay for the hotel so the price shouldn't bother you.
  9. It's DeeMoney and they've been a transfer partner of Wise for some time now. I don't know why sometimes it comes up as one and sometimes the other.
  10. Someone posting in the Pattaya forum requesting information on buses to Rayong probably won't find going on the BTS to Ekkamai makes the short list, and certainly won't be the cheapest or the best list.
  11. It's typical Thai quality, but Nakhonchaiair's website will reveal their timetable given a bit of work. Booking online is possible but not to/from intermediate points like Pattaya but the staff in the office are usually pretty helpful.
  12. Maybe you misinterpreted part of it but the solution offered seems to be the easiest and most reliable. Another solution is below for O2 UK users that may apply to other networks too. I think I can do it from the app which seems just as good and easy as a USSD code.
  13. It also depends on your recipient bank. Some can't show the international coding and so transfers go the quick route if below the (currently) 100,000 THB threshold.
  14. It was 50,000 THB but appears to have changed a little while back to 100,000 THB. First screenshot shows seconds and the next one Tuesday (Thai holiday on Monday).
  15. The lump sum is by definition 100% tax free and you are taxed (subject to allowances etc) on the remaining 75%. Unless you have a specific, valid use for the lump sum, the usual advice is not to take it but to take 25% of your ongoing income tax free if your scheme allows it.
  16. They do, and have had for a while now. Unfortunately, as Hammerman has indicated, it isn't seen as a priority. http://www.seahorse-ferries.com/Home/Home.aspx
  17. If mobile data for a particular SIM is disabled then it will not connect whatever the roaming settings for that SIM are (I have roaming enabled). That is the optimum solution I can see as setting a SIM as the data sim does not stop the other one from using data, as described in the thread I linked to. It appears from NextG's post that O2 can do that for me, but using a code as AIS do would be so much more convenient and gives the assurance that a change in the settings doesn't.
  18. Just started using a mainstream UK bankcard with the same features. I wonder if they're all going that way?
  19. If the OP wishes to set up a new recipient then an OTP via SMS will be required, in my experience.
  20. OP shoiuld not rely on settings to get what he wants and using the code is safer IMO. Going in the other direction for me I experienced what he is trying to avoid and get over it as described in this recent post: https://aseannow.com/topic/1280019-keep-uk-sim-switched-on-or-not/#comment-17774666 I must look to see if there is a similar code for O2 UK to disable data as it would be more convenient than my method, but it was not brought up when I spoke to them about my issue.
  21. I can vouch for Emirates priority baggage being delivered first on multiple occasions. No experience with Swiss.
  22. I too have a Halifax Clarity and it's easy to avoid charges too, or keep them to a few pence. My concern with the HSBC product is the "rate of the day" is determined by them so may not be as good as the Mastercard rate you get when using the Clarity card. Only a test will tell for sure.
