  1. Thai Airway, Bankok Airways, Thai Vietjet and Thai Air Asia are your non-stop choices between Chiang Mai and Suvarnabhumi. Momondo is my preferred comparison site for this as it includes the Low Cost Carriers which some don't, just take care that your preference for hold bags etc carries over to the booking or that your comparing like with like.
  2. I haven't used it myself, but I believe HL have a good online calculator where you can play about with variables like whether you want the income increasing in line with inflation or fixed, whether you want a spouse income on your death or not, and other such options. Worth playing around with probably to see if the results are in line with your expectations.
  3. The details (for all 3 routes) can be found in one of the other threads about this. https://aseannow.com/topic/1352192-finally-regular-bus-service-from-don-mueang-pattaya/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1352167-new-bus-routes-link-bangkok-airports-to-pattaya-and-hua-hin/
  4. Happens frequently for a variety of reasons. A few possibilities mentioned in previous threads. https://aseannow.com/topic/1301309-no-milk-today/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1301096-nationwide-milk-shortage/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1302574-milk-mystery-solved-dry-cow-period/
  5. To help prove your case, and more formal than showing entry/exit stamps (exit ones may not exist in many cases now), you may want to furnish them with the travel record from Immigration as described here: https://aseannow.com/topic/1344081-savarnabhumi-airport-departure-through-electronic-passport-control/page/3/#findComment-19463050
  6. That webpage existed long before the recent tax hoo-ha and has no business being referred to regarding most expats tax affairs.
  7. Nice, but did it need 5 threads on the same subject?
  8. He's not logged on for 8 years so don't hold your breath waiting for a response.
  9. Also discussed here: https://aseannow.com/topic/1352192-finally-regular-bus-service-from-don-mueang-pattaya/ and here: https://aseannow.com/topic/1352167-new-bus-routes-link-bangkok-airports-to-pattaya-and-hua-hin/
  10. More details and review of the Pattaya - BKK inaugural trip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZHmMDHcs-w
  11. No. There's a new bus station on Sukhumvit. More details and review of the Pattaya - BKK inaugural trip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZHmMDHcs-w
  12. Worse than that, if you call them to try and get a refund they're saying you are cancelling and want to charge a cancellation fee!
  13. It does look much thinner but the bottom hinges down to open it up for a standard connector. Your current cable should do.
  14. To allow access to the height adjustment of the rollers.
  15. I know it's just another "expert" opinion, but this video claims US Social Security, UK State Pension, AUS and other country's equivalent benefit are all classified as Social Security and therefore not taxed in Thailand. About the 21 minute mark where she refers to the non-discrimination clause meaning foreigners must be treated the same as Thais.
  16. If this is the page you are referring to there is no mention of immigration requiring any sort of tax form as per your previous post. https://pcec.club/Pattaya-Revenue-Offices
  17. Pity the fool is the expression that springs to mind upon reading this. You've been persuaded by crazy threads like here on Aseannow that there was a requirement to file tax info and further persuaded that failing to do so will affect your status with immigration. Please don't respond to any threads offering to sell you a bridge.
  18. Maybe a real US mobile number or is that too left field?
  19. US Social Security is not taxed in Thailand.
  20. This was ianguygil I believe, but he appears to no longer be visiting the site.
  21. Yes it is, you just have to tunnel down to the right level.
  22. As mentioned above, Swift is often better for larger USD transactions, such as your case, as it's the most commonly traded currency and spreads are tight, but the OP appears to use GBP which tends to have a much bigger spread and means Wise may well be the better choice.
  23. Price is different in his other thread.
