  1. I went to immigration today and got my Marriage Extension. Even though my 90 day report was 12 days late I was not penalised with a fine. I'm still somewhat confused over this.
  2. You've got 2 guesses. 6 years of it being in operation and still not working properly
  3. It really hisses me off going to a rural market and keep getting those umbrellas sticking into my head and the stall owner laughing when I do it.
  4. Thank you for posting sungod. I actually Googled straight after posting and it's sold on Lazada. Dunno what you paid for it at Villa but Lazada have it for 50 Baht a kilo plus 35 Baht postage. I dunno if posting this is against forum rules but it should in fact be in the Health Forum.
  5. just a little bump to see if salt substitute is now available in Thailand?
  6. Well I apologise. I'm sure a few weeks back the same info was paraded and the conclusion was you couldn't work. I must be confused.
  7. Well this year they never did my 90 day report when I did my marriage extension. My extension fell within the time line of the report. The officer did the paperwork for the extension and then handed me back my passport. I asked him why he hadn't done the 90 day report. He said all will be sorted out when I return once the under consideration has been accepted. That now puts me on failing to report. I'm due to go and collect my under consideration marriage stamp tomorrow. I went to the IOffice to do my extension on the 04 Aug. My report date was 12 Aug + 7. So when I go tomorrow I'm 12 days late. If I get asked for 2,000 Baht then the siht will hit the fan. My missus was with me on 4 Aug and will confirm what happened. It's not the money its the continual runaround that they put us through.
  8. Far from it. He hit the nail on the head in my opinion. Coming 16 years here now and they still hiss me around as if I'm the new kid on the block.
  9. We have a lean-to on the side of the house which helps to dry the clothes without direct sunlight.
  10. Exactly. Only thing that would be an advantage wouldn't need to iron the clothes. But electricity costs would rise.
  11. If he has water leaking out then he has a hole to fill. He needs to overlap the tape. Pretty simple really. Well it is to me.
  12. Don't take some ones word because it suits your plans. Play safe. Be safe and get it on the same day as applying.
  13. So it should. It has to be confirmed as official by getting it stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  14. Are getting mixed up with obtaining a 'Yellow Book'. You 'Land Office' has nothing to do with it.
  15. So by reading about it on Google animal owners can cheaply spay and castrate animals with utensils dug up from the kitchen draw. I'll let you know how I get on.
  16. Sorry but the ship sailed ages ago. https://www.carodog.eu/identification-and-registration/countries-where-identification-andor-registration-of-dogs-is-mandatory/
