Thai customer complains about buffet restaurant staff service
paul1804 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Bad reviews can definitely have a negative impact on business and even when the establishment is the victim of an unreasonable customer Google and Trip advisor will not remove the review. Personality conflicts often influence these reviews and have no real indication of whether the establishment in question is a good prospect or a bad one. I have a restaurant and had a situation where a lady requested a table for herself and a very loudly screaming child, she was politely asked if she could control the Childs behaviour which she replied she could not so she was refused a table, she gave me a terrible review which has no bearing on the quality of my food, service & value for money which is what review's are supposed to indicate. -
Control cannabis use through laws, the law is only enforced in Thailand when there is a financial advantage for those enforcing! They cannot even enforce motor bike riders to wear a Helmut so their chances of controlling the use of cannabis is pie in the sky stuff, when there is a personal financial advantage then things happen in Thailand!

Yes Covid probably was the biggest scam after events like the World Trade centre followed by the Iraq invasion & I suppose the assassination of JFK was pretty up there as well! Remember JFK was not prepared to commit troops to Vietnam, he did roll back the gold standard, he wanted to normalise relationships with Cuba & Russia etc which did not suit the narrative of those around him including his VP.

If Thailand as Myanmars immediate neighbor had any ethics it would vito the illegally imposed BS Junta government in Myanmar who are crooks, thieves and murderer's! They are there to rape, pillage, suppress & murder the Burmese people & deny them of any sort o a normal life. Their crimes are endless and disgraceful yet several countries & their neighbours like Thailand, China & India, as well as Russia & Iran are supporting this atrocity purely for their own financial gain, another disgrace against humanity!!! -

Alcohol Sales Prohibited in Thailand on July 20-21, 2024
paul1804 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Those that want to drink alcohol during this time including Buddhist's will stock up so all its really affecting is the businesses like bars & restaurants and the tourism trade which Thailand is trying to promote! Obviously all the mom & pop shops and those illegally selling will benefit given the corrupt mind set in Thailand so all this religious ban really does is promote the illegal sales of alcohol and all the law abiding business's loose out! "Just another hypocritical rule that makes no sense" -

Alcohol Sales Ban To Be Lifted at Thai Airports on Key Buddhist Holidays
paul1804 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
When will Thailand drag itself into the 21st century??? They lift the alcohol sales ban at airports, why not at all major tourist destinations. Tourist are here to enjoy themselves and for many that includes having a few drinks which has nothing to do with religious holidays. Also the rediculous 2 - 5pm alcohol sales ban, it acheives nothing thats makes any sense! -
