  1. So if I fly out from Bangkok to Cambodia or Vietnam just before my 60 day tourist visa expires in November, and then fly back a week later, I will be able to get the 45 day visa waiver correct? Assuming I am from a country entitied to the visa waiver, which I am.
  2. There is a 2 entry limit in writing somewhere, but I think that is only if you do border runs by land, not through the airport. That is probably why this keeps coming up and why there is some confusion.
  3. Is that 45 day visa waiver on arrival after Oct1 official? Not just a proposal? Not something they might walk back? I need certainty for the travel plans I am making.
  4. So Cannabeach in Pattaya does in fact have Green Crack for 300/10g or 50/g. According to the person there, Green Crack is domestically grown outdoors. That would explain the low price and the reports of it coming with seeds.
  5. I believe the "Auto" means auto flowering after a certain time period. Usually around 4 months. I'm no expert but I think that is what you want to be growing outdoors in Thailand because the hours of sunlight don't really change and that (also changes in the spectrum of light) is what causes non-auto strains to flower. If growing Indoors you can do that artificially.
  6. It's always going to be more expensive at first. It's only been decriminalized for like 3 months. The first legally grown crops are only just getting close to harvest. I predict that prices will plummet soon.
  7. Can't believe you think the blatantly obvious needs to be stated. Besides the point. There are literally hundreds of shops and stands everywhere. Not just in tourist areas either.
  8. Riddle me this. Why is Green Crack selling for upwards of 300-600b/g or more in various stores around Pattaya and yet I can buy it online for 50b/g or 300b/10g or maybe even less. Supposedly it's the same stuff, maybe better. Surely someone in Pattaya must be wanting more business by selling it at a more reasonable price if their cost is that low no? 6-12x markup seems rather excessive.
  9. Oh puuuulease. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know that decriminalizing dope would be popular. ????
  10. I really hate that LINE shopping UI. I just tried as a test and the order went through with no warning even though I put in all fake info. Then I went to cancel and there is no cancel option. Then I messaged the guy saying cancel and he said I can do it myself. If there is some way to do it myself I can't find it. The LINE FAQ has no info on canceling other than by the seller.
  11. CCR looks good on paper but it's not that great. The location isn't very good even though it appears to be close to things on a map. It's a PiTA getting to/from there and crossing 3rd road. Almost no restaurants and or convenience stores nearby except for one BigC Mini. It's not a direct shot to 3rd road because the entrance is on the other side. So it's a bit of a walk on a narrow road with no sidewalks to get around to 3rd road. Also, the lower priced rooms are pretty small. Maybe 20msq (?) and cheaply built like most of the newer low rise condo projects around town. The price is low and the condos advertised online all over the place for a reason.
  12. I make them from scratch. Slice up the potato into fries and soak in cold water for about 10-15 minutes to get rid of excess starch. Drain and dry on some paper towel. Toss in some olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and throw in the basket. Not too much otherwise they end up steaming. Just enough so they are not layered on top of each other.
  13. Tastes better too imo. You just can't overload the basket otherwise it ends up steaming them instead of frying. I recommend getting a bigger one even if you think you will just be making small meals. The bigger the basket the better it works because you need lots of empty space around the food for the air to circulate. Mine is 3.2L which is considered medium size. I would say that is the perfect size for one person.
  14. Then why are you cooking pies and chips? Air fryers are THE best thing for cooking home made french fries. I also cook bacon, hamburger, chicken strips, ribs, salmon, hot dogs. Great for pretty much any meat. Really easy once you get the hang of it, which is not hard. Trial and error just 2 or 3 times and I had it sorted.
  15. This is the relevant link for the Thai consulate in HCMC. It says they want proof of accommodation for at least half of the stay. That could be an issue for some people. The rest of it looks straight forward enough. https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/tourist-visa
  16. Just goes to show that no matter how many links you provide people will still find reasons to disagree with you. ????‍♂️ One of those links is an embassy/consultate. I am well aware that thaiembassy.com is a business. Hence why I provided other links.
  17. An IO has the right to deny you entry with very little justification. If you have entered multiple times in a year then that is most certainly justification. I think I read someone saying they were denied entry on this board not too long ago for that very reason.
  18. It appears that there IS a 2x rule when entering by land/sea but not by air. https://oslo.thaiembassy.org/en/page/visa-exemption?menu=60b77e3017c601673a27f782 https://www.thethailandlife.com/thailand-tourist-visa#:~:text=However%2C the current rule is,the validity of the visa. https://www.thaiembassy.com/thailand-visa/thai-visa-exemption-and-bilateral-agreement
  19. I think you are only allowed 2 or 3 entries per year on a tourist visa or 30 day waiver. I think that rule was always there but not sure. Only now they seem to be enforcing it more. I believe you can extend in country to theoretically stay up to 5 months in a year including the 2 entries. If they allow a 3rd then you can theoretically stay up to 7 months in a year but I am not sure if they do. Regarding getting a tourist visa in HCMC by physically going into the consulate. Are they still doing that? I thought it was all done through the e-Visa website now? I believe you have to be in your home country to do that no?
  20. This would be a positive move that benefits everyone imo. I would also like to see the 60 day visa changed to 90.
