Foreigner Steals Taxi While High on Cannabis, Crashes into Lamp Post

Already legal in much of the western world. What went wrong exactly? Drunks and extended bar opening hours cause far more problems. -

Driving to / from Bangkok best route now Rama 2 is a mess?
shdmn replied to Hamus Yaigh's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am
Only a couple fast trains per day and aircon cars almost always sold out a day or two ahead, so not that convenient. I also find their website very clunky trying to buy tickets online. -
Hua Hin was voted 3rd best place in the world to retire last year by some website. Maybe Forbes. Very subjective but I personally think Hua Hin is pretty nice and not yet ruined by over tourism and over development like Phuket and Pattaya have been imo. Still has the benefit of being relatively close to BKK, just like Pattaya. The new double tracks make train travel faster and the Rama II upgrade through Bangkok, scheduled for completion middle of next year, should reduce the road trip from 2.5-3 hours down to maybe 2. https://www.huahintoday.com/local-news/rama-2-road-works-to-be-completed-by-2025-govt-spokesperson/ Cha-am is also nice for people who want an even quieter pace than Hua Hin and want to be a little closer to Bkk.

I started doing this last year. The visa thing was a bigger hassle than I expected so I was seriously thinking of going somewhere else this year. The new 5 year DTV lets me stay for 180 days without having to worry about travel dates and questions from immigration officers and dealing with more paperwork and bureaucracy, so it should be much easier now with that option.

I wouldn't waste my time replying to that account. Life is too short to not add them to your ignore list.

Trump's Age and Mental Capacity Come Under Scrutiny
shdmn replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Please tell me more what an awesome guy the convicted felon and fraudster is. Having a 'working relationship' with war criminal Poutine and everything. 🤣 -
That is a 2 year old account with over 7600 posts. Either they mental problems, spending every waking hour on this site until their fingers bleed, or more likely it's something else. Either way, I wouldn't take that account seriously and just put them on your ignore list.

Anyone dumb enough to be investing in that dumpster fire of a stock should never be taken seriously anyways.

So just like any other time the convicted felon and compulsive liar he opens his pie hole.

U.S. Charges Russian RT Employees in Alleged Election Influence Scheme
shdmn replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Apparently there are at least 2800 of these traitors being paid by Russia. 1/5th are in the US. Can't wait to see that list once it is unsealed. Also apparently lots of AI-generated fake news. https://www.wired.com/story/project-good-old-usa-russia-2024-election/
