thanks, you could learn a lot from me. -
No if you're fully vaccinated your choices are 1 weeks sandbox in Phuket or 1 week ASQ in BKK, this is for arrivals from all countries. If you're sinlge on unvaccintated i think it's 10 or 14 days in BKK ASQ only. This is what i understand as of today. Test and Go no longer on the table until further notice.

Post Covid Still testing Positive
HashBrownHarry replied to bankei's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
To each their own, i only test when i travel coz it's a requirement. If i got symptoms i would not bother to test just isolate for 10 - 14 days -
I know 2 people that have had PCR test then gone home, test positive got a phone call and told to stay home ( no symptoms ). I also know 1 person, had a PCR went home, got a phone call and told an ambulance was being sent for him to take to hospital ( no sypmtoms ). He went and they tried to charge him 20K per night, he told them he could not afford to pay that ( he could of ), ended up paying 20K for 10 nights. 1st two cases were in the last month, 3rd case was about 8 months ago. How to avoid a stay in hospital if you're so worried about a + resuly - self isolate for 7-10 days, carry out multiple home tests until you're confident that your negative, only then report to hospital for PCR. That's your best shot. Good luck.

I've seen people test + on ATK tests and then full PCR's show negative, numerous times.
