Since ESIM tech exists and I found out you can buy these data packages online with even like crypto / no verification hassle, at lower prices and tried one of the decent packages with full speed on 4/5G connection with like 50GB data. Well in short you just never go back to these <deleted>ty fiber connections in Thailand again. It is way way better via sim cards, even if it means to just buy a Google pixel phone for that purpose like a router. People overestimate how much data they really use / need too.

Immigration closure for Songkran
ChaiyaTH replied to lelapin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Is litteraly even a duplicate of my answer. That's good old Google work to check on dates, AI is even unreliable with this and in this case it applied logical reasoning just like I as a human did >< -
Thailand's Digital Card Chaos: Say Goodbye to TM6, Hello to Confusion!
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Or they soon just tell people they can't checkin their flights, they paid for already month ago because they did not apply for this TDAC 3-5 days prior? And turn people away at the borders as well and let them wait 3-5 days before being able to still enter. Well that is gonna work great for Thailand it's about to crumble economy. You would think kids run this country. And if they are not planning to do that, the entire purpose and introduction of it is 100% useless. Zero extra data or value. -
Thailand's Digital Card Chaos: Say Goodbye to TM6, Hello to Confusion!

So the purpose is to gather information before travelers arrive while everyone is going to fil it in last minute as nobody knows about it. So much to their logic. And what information is additional? Their first booked hostel/hotel of which the TM30 should already provide that intel. There is like zero reasons for Thailand to have implemented this, it also helps zero with any existing crime. It only annoys potential tourists. -
Thailand's Digital Card Chaos: Say Goodbye to TM6, Hello to Confusion!
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
To be honest I have made some code before for fun that actually makes adding new people to TM30 as well to do any reporting, in their crack systems, easier and faster or even automatic. Some people use this code on the islands. I mean if you can't even make a fluent easy to fill out form in 2025, there simply is no hope. With my version people can just scan passports at reception and the rest is automated and history. I made this in like half a day. Their guests then also get the TM30 report by email automatically. Saves a lot of admin work and time, they love to create work here. I'm almost start to think to make a V2 version of this that individuals can use too. -
Immigration closure for Songkran

Well on actual songkran? So look up when songkran is. Sunday april 13 to Tuesday april 15th, would that not logically indicate they close then on 14th and 15th? Just maybe right? -

The fact it is so easy tells you it is also a worthless thing to do. -

Entirely ignoring any of this or general news until something actually starts and stays in place longer than a few weeks. Tired of these kids running their mouth with early 2000 software. Meanwhile cambodia uses ipads to get a tiny QR sticker visa on arrival hassle free. I also really do not understand what the value with this, they already can screen passengers from passenger lists. You could then at least limit it for land border use only. Neither would this info tell you anything about people causing trouble once they are inside, that's like 0.02% covid style. -
Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside

I'd be more worried about the actual escalator plates, last time I walked in don muang (where someone lost her foot) those plates still felt loose as fk. Just take the stairs. -
Yeah this stuff continues always has nothing to do with politics much anyway, as well that they selectively always try to hide certain things from one and another.

Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside

I thought it was quite funny until my ultrawide monitor started rocking that hard it almost fell on the floor. Is like you are shaking your own desk with 2 hands on purpose using quite some force. The funniest part was all thais outside looking up in the sky, maybe the alien mothership arrived. -
Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside

Except that those were build to withstand such possible things X5-10 yet still collapsed in such manner.. Well you know where I am heading but let's stay on topic. The visuals were indeed almost identical as the one we had here yesterday, a real collapse. Hence every other building in BKK is still standing as well. -
The five eyes is super old, it always has been about the 9 eyes since decades with France, Germany, Netherlands and Norway. Generally speaking it would basically all rely on either Netherlands or Japan and Israel if it came to most digital intelligence or cyber security and warfare.

Musk’s trans daughter: “Elon Musk Is a Pathetic Man-Child"
ChaiyaTH replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The reason they do that is because they know that in reality their views and arguments, even 'evidence' are flawed, as well that it is simply a fact that we talk about a super tiny minority of the population of which the majority has mental issues. If it was any different, even remotely close, the world would never had to prove or deal with anything in the first place. It would been normal, it is not. The only solution is then by being very aggressive and using some specific random half baked science evidence, without context. More or less similar to how they proved covid was a real threat. -
Like 30 seconds you mean.

Ah so you are telling us you uncovered some corruption that normally is considered a perfect legally fine operation where you still scam us of 400% increased pricing? Why you think the tech here is build so poorly and never implemented; corruption. -
Thailand's Prisons Overflow as Overcrowding Hits Alarming Level

Zero excuses for this, as usual. Will something change? Nope. -
Is not a issue unless you have issues in general. In that case a visa won't help you either. What is the question in the first place as you were told exactly what the requirement was; staying 2 nights in Laos + come back again to enter. It's interesting it is always people that fail to even read basic instructions having issues. People who have these issues also almost always have a dodgy life, money issues and more. That is why you get singled out in the first place, Thais have a 6th sense radar for this with 99% accuracy. Same for the fact you say to have gotten a denied stamp from that, highly unusual.

Accessing deceased foreigner's thai bank account
ChaiyaTH replied to kiwijack's topic in General Topics
What are you talking about, you can go anywhere in TH for your bank as long you just have your bank book and passport. But then you need to be alive. Thailand is also everything but big lol, it's like a big village here. Just need 'a branch' willing to cooporate with XYZ paperwork. Up to branch manager to decide. So i think the most important for the OP would be to at very least have that bank book. Then death certificate + something proving you are the person having rights but I think a direct relate is required + notarized + translate foreign affairs stamp + thai lawyer. I could imagine if that is not enough that it would be a simple court procedure, even it takes time to get the court date etc, 1-2 months. Budget lawyer 10-30K and otherwise sky limit. I'd get one beforehand to not arrive with missing paperwork. And let a Thai visit a random branch or 2-3 of them to ask too. Don't try getting that info by phone etc unless it is the branch phone. -
Maybe he stays at the Chinese and Indian markets too much lol

You must be seeing ghosts then as it is obvious that it is quiet in almost every place. Do you even know what busy in Thailand means? You had to force yourself trough the streets in areas like Khao san road. Nowadays you can walk with your arms spread. That counts for all areas.
