Lat prao or even upper ratchada is perfect for this, all reachable by MRT stations, affordable decent rentals as well just 150 baht taxi to the airport in no-time, unless it is traffic jam times. Edit: oh sorry, you are another unicorn who wants 2 bedrooms, 10+ floors, at a perfect location. Have fun with that, try double your budget.

Yeah by dowloading old-school PDF's, filling in multi page forms, and then hope you get it back. The 'scam' merchant would then file a dispute, complicating it for you and having strict timeframes to file your counter-evidence, usually causing in 85% of the people still walking away from their lost money.

The sellers basically get funds available once the package is delivered, they can cash that out the following weekly payout date. So anything happening after that, specially if done at the same timeframe, would depend on the sellers current balance. If the scam is prepared properly and you would deliver 'something' to do get cashed out (for example 1000 baht X 200 orders in a 2-3 week scheme), and after the complaints are validated by Lazada support, to deserve a refund, but the seller cashed it out before, you have zero chance of getting it back unless starting a civil case in the sellers origin country. You can easily sell under the price of populair products, gain some fake purchases for the initial reviews, and then easily sell for 400-500K baht in a few days. You could send a <deleted>ty chinese product you also list, and claim it is a mistake (that turns out to happen to 1-2-3M baht sales). They cash and run, that is the end of it usuallly. Nobody is gonna start a high energy consuming civil case, costing tens of thousands aside of time, for just 500-1000 baht. This is the classic smart scam of the past decade basically, those doing this, many made tons of money doing that, even using nominees. Usually they also do it all over SE asia at once.

So I assume they separated already as she posted her stay on social media, one would not do that if it was a secret date. So many here are still married on paper while not together since years, as one party doesn't wanna sign and court is a hassle. Tricky stuff, you might buy the GF all kinds of things, to then see she passes away due to illness or a accident, and the never known husband getting it all lol.

Yes I can, I fly almost every 2 weeks and have had the issue various times. Clearly you do not, else you wouldn't say this.

Seems you keep posting that everywhere, while having very little knowledge yourself. What he writes actually does occur when it is checked in as 1 flight, you do not get a new boarding pass or separate checkin for that during a few hour transit.

Thai TikToker builds following with tips on frugal living
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I assume its 2k per person but still not special or impressive at all, yet I can see how it sheds a new light, many poorer thais buy at 7:11 and honestly never went to makro or even understand the impact of price differences. 4K is plenty to live even for farang food if always cooking home, for 2-3 people. but why live that life in the first place, earn more is a better focus -
Bangkok police was checking for weed
ChaiyaTH replied to problemfarang's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Of course they will start checking, smoking weed and using non-medicinal approved products carries up to 25,000 baht fine and/or 3 months jail. Why does nobody seem to be able and read a 2-3 sentence law? The only reason they do not check at populair selling places, is because they make a nice donation already. Otherwise this is the future milk cow where you likely get away with 5K if being smart of 10-15K if a newbie loud tourist. -
Admitted the Moon landings were fake !
ChaiyaTH replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Not saying any fake landing is true but most technology is available decades before we see a glimpse of it. Same with UFO's, now they suddenly admit they might be real, if you ask me that is big BS. Aside of the fact people at that time did not have access to a high resolution 4K screen to watch the potential fake footage, so it can look real easily. They just don't want us to know they have new technology, until it will be used in the second next world war. -
FBI found more than 11,000 government records at Trump's Florida home
ChaiyaTH replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
They found 11,000 documents and all were free to be taken or copied. So nothing came from it once again, poor Hillary. -
If you actually read the original news article, it was people who complained, not him. So liking him or not, what is your point? Or are you that german guy?
-
If you actually read my comments previously, you would have gotten the answer. Again, no that is not relevant to this. You could cry over so many things in that case, that it is sad some people are being paid peanuts, well, you can start looking around in Thailand too. Does that make prices cheap? No, you still pay 120 baht for a small beer sometimes.
-
You are changing your own sentence now but yes, it is still irrelevant for the most part, even they are paid good, they can still produce it this cheap, and it is the shipping part that I explained above, playing the biggest role. And if you wanna talk real cost of material, the planet and those gathering resources are paying the price. Not the assembly line in China. Ever tried to apply a factory job in the west? You get paid just as horrible, even it might be enough for a basic life, which is the same for many Chinese. Try applying for a job at Amazon in the USA and tell us how nice it is. Even you would agree on your now changed sentence here, that is still irrelevant to this topic, as that would apply to almost any products on earth, as 95% is produced or coming from there. Even it comes from Bangladesh, the same applies with postage etc. Your reasoning to think a whitelabel A brand is doing it different than a non-brand on Lazada, is wrong too.
-
Obviously, almost anyone drives illegal on motorbikes in SE Asia. Even you have a license that is valid, with the International paper it is only valid for 90 days at most (applies to many europeans too). Why would you even care, might be 150 baht if they check you at most.
-
100% irrelevant, that counts for any of the products, even those sold by white label brands in the west. The only difference might be they produce higher quality products, does not change the workers involved at all. No difference for how most of all the lithium is gathered, to make a so called 'green transition'. Hundreds of years ecological damage caused already, while we are not even at 5% of the desired production capacity, using a lot of children even.

1) Business owners that take out loans, sell very cheap, go bankrupt but keep the profits. 2) China is still regarded as a 'developing country' under International postage, making western countries pay for tons of their products being send abroad. This while they stole over 35% of the entire eCommerce market in for example Holland. Irony on that is that people think they buy it cheap in for example europe, but pay with their taxes for the shipping. Also this is not limited to western countries only, it also works out for Thailand that way. If they pay, it's a fraction of the real cost (shipping costs). 3) Unfair competition, as a Thai we can only sell in Thailand unless we have local shops in each SE asian country. Chinese however are allowed to sell to all countries. 4) It is China, they produce on such a massive scale, the production or wholesale cost on 10,000 units for your product would maybe be 1 dollars. They are happy to only make 1 dollar profit as they sell a lot. We have to buy a lot if wanting that price, Chinese locally do not. Keep in mind you always been scammed by many of the multi millionaires (hundreds) who sold us retail products in the west, for like 2-3-4 decades, too.

Sounds like a waste of lithium resources to me.

To add: I am unaware how it will run in the near future, would not be surprised if both the 30 days on arrival is 45, but also the extensions going to be 45 days. That would make 1 entry with extension 90 days total already.
-
Get a tourist visa to get the 60 days on arrival but do not get the extension, instead plan a trip upfront to one of the nearby countries as an bonus holiday. The extension fee alone would cover 60% of the round way fares if you book it a bit early. Examples could be a weekend to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh etc. When you return you get 30-45 days again (same as 1900 baht extension would get you without leaving). If you do not mind spending half a day for an extension or to even make 1-2 of those trips during the 3 months of holiday, you could come here without any visa at all. You would arrive and get 45 days, be able to either fly or do 2 border runs again, as well be able to make a extension locally after each international entry. I could imagine obtaining the visa alone would waste a lot of time and money in the UK too, after all it is only 15 days more compared with the new 45 days on arrival stamp.

Visa’s and boarder runs
ChaiyaTH replied to Wishi's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
He should not have ended up here with zero money in the first place, in that case he can try illegal jobs down south or call in for friends or family. If he didn't burn all his bridges that can't be too difficult, as well he could work almost instantly in Australia. Many jobs are even cash in hand daily or otherwise weekly. For about 20K baht he can be there, 15K if he waits 1 week which justifies a dorm and food in TH to also work 18 hours per day finding a job right after landing. Anyway, you would hope one knows he either needs to buy a ticket or know certain new money is coming in, if being on the stage of 30-50K baht left. And that is a tight reserve already.
