Debts are often sold to third companies after payments fail for years at an end, often the original owed company then receives 50% or so right away from the buying company. Companies buying these debts do not forget and specialize in collecting. That it has been quiet for 5 years says nothing, as long they remind you within law time frames it continues. Anyway, the Thais and their poor repayments is the reason we have such high interest here, its rewarding for companies having debtors pay slow and late too.

Just offer the mother some money to sign for it and add a 30 year lease to the house for yourself, she can't take a loan out or sell the place and by the time the lease expires your child is adult and full owner. I mean, I assume deposit on a house is quite a sum, and you somehow liked it, so might as well add another 50K to get it done then... Mother might even be foolish enough to think she can sell it and signs.

Such great recovery, those still open are into their necks in debt and one additinal wave (as occured everywhere after mass vaxx) blows them. Keep dreaming of a 18M (50% recovery) during next year.

He booked a flight checking the rules poorly as well the flight details. Other than that, he will still fly and land in BKK without issues. You do not get charged for a already paid ticket you miss by rules or you will always be able to change it to the initial destination. If he has a lot luggage this could even work out in his favor by do checking his baggage trough and flying that same day. A separate ticket from BKK to CNX is 750-1500 each, end of the story. He is just clearly inexperienced, who books a Inter flight from the west to CM directly in the first place.

Seems logical to me, maybe the person who told me that part is more into houses. I still wonder if it would be allowed if those walls aren't tho, just a double door between the places or even a normal single door would be plenty for such ideas. Often you get nicer studio sale prices as well buildings / views, if combined with 2 units, are bigger and better deals than the new shoebox style 1br condo's of the more recent years.

As far I understood there is no such thing as 'load bearing walls' in condo construction in Thailand, they work with pillars. I heard the actual problem is that piping and wires are between walls of apartments often making it impossible to buy 2 studio's and turn it into 1 larger one. Aside of not getting permissions of course. - Not sure what is true but I otherwise also have many plans for cheap studio's x 2 and turn into 1.

Who made this up? The perfect location would have been Pattaya. Hua hin is like the bangkok rich and quiet place, who would want to put a casino there. Some dirty games are played to take market share from Pattaya I guess. Destroy the entire walking street, make it a beautiful extended boulevard with casino and put all the bars back in the empty sois between beach road and second road. More density, less empty shop houses and Boom! The best part is that casino's would be and are able to paying for this renovation on a condition to get the license.

Air Asia withdrawn Hua Hin to Chiang Mai route (again)?

Would they even be able to fill those flights half way nowadays? Aside of the construction. -
Two solutions: stop talking to her or leave her.

Only Crypto Can Beat inflation
ChaiyaTH replied to Neeranam's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Because I own gold since a longer time than I own bitcoin since it was just 900 dollars, you suggest a lot of things that bore me. The point is clearly that the headline is nonsense, many things beat inflation. -
Only Crypto Can Beat inflation

Guess it depends what percentage is now called for as inflation but gold did just fine too with like 10% annually for the past 10-15 years. So that might be nothing compared to Bitcoin but still beats the average inflation by 3 times. -
Wether it is for foreigners only or for foreigners and Thais, doesn't make it any bit better. Both cases it sucks. Imagine you were vaccinated back home a year ago, you then do a PCR test and all the paperwork to fly here, then you are pushed into ASQ and tested again. When you are finally released, you hit KSR, oh no you won't, first ANOTHER test again. After you wanna go to Samui, once again, another test.

Do Thailand government help handicapped children ????
ChaiyaTH replied to nomad2019's topic in Family and Children
Aside of public healthcare etc I doubt there is anything available that offers significant money that could make that much better. I guess it really much depends on where one lives too, there might be some day care to relieve but that would cost money too.
