    I used it to get my LTR approval. BOI is more focused on substance than form they ask for any certification. So, as you are likely to have more than 80000 USD as pension, I'd suggest you consider this: BOI/LTR.

    They don't have the power to adjust the substance of the requirements, but they show flexibility in the form, origin, etc. of the documentation they accept as proof.

    The Noblemaire principle, is what governs UN staff compensation. Our days we are supposed to have a standard of living equivalent to [high ranking] civil servants in New York. I have to admit that "Post adjustment" system isn't perfect and that we were probably overcompensated in Geneva.

    UN doesn't "say" that. UN pays this allowance to any staff member travelling on assignment to Hua Hin [for instance]. Believe me we didn't feel it was much. I still use this number when planning holidays, but just as a minimum while I know for sure it is gonna end up 50% to 100% more. And getting worse fast; this march I could still afford a two bedroom suite at Chatrium Riverside, now? just forget it.
