  1. I got here in 1995 and every one of those things was non-negotiable for everyone i knew back then, though the internet was <deleted>.
  2. aye what? what kind of world do you live in that makes anything this man does give inspiration or hope?
  3. what a buzzkill that PR appearance must have been for people genuinely having fun.
  4. no. a vetran suffering PTSD from battle is not pathetic. What is pathetic is people today claiming PTSD from working in "toxic" office environments. That said, from the information provided id suggest heatstroke is far more likely a culprit here.
  5. I think of more as encouragement. you know, support to hurry you along. have another donut, crack another beer old son.
  6. My response was to someone who is unable to distinguish between a verb or an adjective, but how this not a form of compulsion? Then there is the fact that human trafficking is not exclusive to the sex trade. also, it is not my logic, as I stated in my first post in the matter it is the us government's. https://www.justice.gov/humantrafficking/what-is-human-trafficking Forgive the weird formatting in my response, I'm writing on a tablet. The only intentional bold is the hight lighted text in the quote.
  7. a more pertinent question is have you ever had to repair a bmw out of warranty? If you had, you would not be buying another and holding on to it for any amount of time.
  8. no idea where you live but where i live there are endless kilometres of road in every direction.
  9. BMW are great if you can lease them and trade up every few years to avoid their notoriously poor reliability. If you have no intention of taking the car above 100k km and can trade up or out before the warranty lapses go for it, if you want a reilable car that will last you for over 5 years and retain a decent resale, don't do it.
  10. walk away and start dating a social equal.
  11. from the article: Yesterday, police arrested three men of Tai Yai ethnicity (an ethnic group from Shan state in Myanmar) at a construction workers camp
  12. every question you have asked is answered by common sense and the simplest google search. But, short answer is each of the conditions you mention is exacerbated by alcohol consumption. in the case of gout it may actually be the cause. Re alcohol type: Foods or drinks that are rich in purine (an aromatic organic compound), such as beer, distilled liquor, and wine, are known to trigger gout attacks. Moreover, grain-based alcohol, such as beer, that contains gluten is known to trigger joint pain and flare-up the symptoms of RA
  13. i suppose the wording is insane, but only if you have no idea what compel or coerce mean. I suppose we should be thankful you aren't in a position to enforce laws.
  14. While Thailand certainly contributes to the pollution, it is by far not the worst offender in the region. A quick look at the fire map from the past 24 hours shows pretty clearly that burring is entirely unchecked in neighboring countries, https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/map/#t:adv;d:2023-04-10;@104.9,15.2,6z Thailand is certainly guilty of not stopping the fires dead within their own borders, but really, how big a difference will that make without regional cooperation?
  15. oh really? a single day to stop the burning domestically and in neighboring countries?
