Thailand used to to be the most dangerous tourism destination for Western tourists for a while in the late 90's to the mid to late 00's. There was even a book about it, which was banned in Thailand. Just slow down through the overhead gantries with the big screens and the two cantilevers at the trucking weigh stations. The screens that show your speed for each lane don't actually have cameras. There's also a sneaky bunch of cameras located on the first pedestrian footbridge on the way into Bangkok from Pattaya. You're welcome.

I rarely speed on the M7 these days unless I get some idiot tailgaiting then I get rid of them at the first opportunity. Normally I am driving at the speed of the flow of the traffic if it is busy or at 120kph on the cruise control so no danger of a speeding fine.

I had a slow puncture in the driver's side rear tyre last week. It was due to a nail or screw in the tread. Went to Cockpit in Laem Chabang and they fixed it for 450thb in about 20 minutes. They visually inspected all the other tyres at the same time. Excellent service and highly recommended.

His old mate Suthep has just come out of hiding to ready the protestors and create instability should, as predicted, Pheu Thai win a majority. I'm sure there will be many shenanigans in the meantime. Plenty of time to hand out political bans, offer 'incentives' and create a situation where they can appear to 'win' legitimately.
