  1. A bit too late now. NATO had 30 years to dismantle after the Soviet Union fell. Impossible to live in peace with Russia while NATO continued to expand closer to it. Ironically, NATO was meant to keep people safe from Russia, but really it just created tension after the fall of the Soviet Empire. And the cheek that NATO does nothing now after it caused Ukraine to be invaded. They should have known better to keep Ukraine neutral.
  2. Thank you Yeah, I have never done a 60 day extension, plenty of one year extensions though.
  3. Is it possible to extend for 60 days (for current reason of family) before I make the switch to a one year extension based on work? And for a 60 day family extension (if possible), do you need to show finances?
  4. So, from your personal experience which health insurance is the best option? If you choose 'Other' feel free to comment the name.
  5. Just participating in the discussion. It doesn't have to be a circle jerk for how good crypto is. I dabbled in crypto, still hold some ETH. I bought around the last quarter of 2017. ETH is up about 800% from then til today. But my fav stock (that I sold to buy ETH, dumbly) is up around 1400% in the same timeframe. Profitable company, real investment, less risk and less volatility. No crappy long periods of doing nothing, like crypto did for about 3 years. Likely to have a bright future, unlike most crypto. You think the institutions will hold crypto up? They'll dump it and leave the average numpty holding their bags.
  6. It could just as easily lose 80% of its value and take 3 years to recover. That's typically the way crypto goes. Wonder how OP will feel then? And if he'll hold? He'd be sitting with like 40 grand, down from 200, feeling pretty stupid for a few years.
  7. I wonder where the cheapest place is for a colon check up?
  8. I thought Saint Louis Hospital had good value check ups.
  9. I dunno. The beer in touristy Bangkok is more expensive than in a UK city where they pay decent salaries to staff, proper taxes, high utility bills (especially heating in winter).....and yet they still make a profit. I am sure the rent isn't cheap, but pubs have to pay rent in the west too (and it certainly ain't cheap either). They certainly have a good business and a lot of pricing power over the customer. Haha
  10. Yeah, most Thai women have the mental age of an adolescent, are completely undomesticated, and couldn't take care of a Barbie doll - never mind a small human. That doesn't mean I would want to be married to a western woman either, cos they have their own foyables.
  11. Tell me: what's with all the "no early drinking" rules here? I favor daytime drinking.
  12. Pity the poll only goes up to 120 a small bottle. Some pubs don't even have prices that cheap. There are Irish pubs in Silom charging 130 a small Chang and 150 for a small San Mig Light after 7pm. Lol.
  13. City of Angels is so misleading. Bangkok much more accurate.
  14. So many parents here are pathetic and hopeless. Knowing my luck, I will be reincarnated as a child of one of these utterly useless POS.
  15. The only reason you are saying that is because of their genders (that the victim was a man). You kinda want to believe the man was wrong in this and she was somehow the victim, yet I didn't see anything in the article to suggest that. Did you? Society has a real problem blaming women for their wrongdoing and holding them accountable for their actions.
  16. Please tell you'd say EXACTLY the same thing if it were him who killed her. Somehow, I don't think so.
