  1. No, asking if they'll see you tomorrow and sending some messages via Line is not obsessive behaviour. Unless there's more to what they're doing than you actually describe, I suggest your two options are either put up with it or stop dating.
  2. Obsessive behaviour if I ever did hear it...
  3. It's a close competition, but I think this is a candidate for the most misogynistic post of all time on Asean Now...
  4. If there's any ounce of truth in the OP, I think you've hit the nail close to the head with that question. A plausible scenario is that after buying a couple (or more) drinks for the lady in question, old Bob suggested that maybe she should buy him one and her reaction to that proposal started a row that he was completely incapable of de-escalating and eventually lead to him being asked to leave. I don't know how close to the truth my hypothesis is, but it's eminently more plausible than "I told her sometimes women make more money than men and she threw me out the bar"...
  5. This didn't happen
  6. I'm not quite sure what trap MF are trying to lay for these senetors, and whether or not it will ultimately work out in the end. But you have to assume that this is exactly the reaction that they were trying to provoke.
  7. Yes. I can't believe that this is such an alien concept to so many people.
  8. It's possible to get PR if you work in Thailand, but it's far from easy. I don't think it's technically achievable without working (or at least earning) here. I did once meet some random lawyer in a bar in Bangkok once who said he could sort out Permanent Residency for less than the price of an Elita visa. I was skeptical...
  9. That wouldn't prevent the cat from straying onto neighbouring balconies...
  10. But.... um... So IMO is okay, then? Is there a list anywhere of which acronyms are and are not acceptable?
  11. Okay well I would suggest that anybody who decides to take care of a cat in a condo would have to accept that they can't leave the balcony doors open all day.
  12. Lock yourself in? We're talking about the cat. And most condos I've stayed in have doors attached to their balcony.
  13. You would be have to be completely bonkers to let your cat out on the balcony in the first place!
  14. That topic is about applying for a visa. The OP already has a visa.
  15. What makes you think it would be an issue?
  16. Okay.... I'll rephrase my post. "The entertainment value gained knowing how much I was amazing certain other people, whom it has no effect on whatsoever, would be immeasurable."
  17. Being cut up and stored in a freezer, perhaps?
  18. I honestly wish I didn't find face masks so uncomfortable otherwise I'd wear them all the time. The entertainment value gained knowing how much I was annoying certain other people, whom it has no effect on whatsoever, would be immeasurable. It's a bit like being on an ED or volunteer visa.
  19. Oops. Missed that. I guess my comment about others being happy to be in a similar situation doesn't really apply to SETV.
  20. So.... if he had a rock-solid business plan he'd be able to get a loan from a bank or experienced investor. If he has been offered the money from elsewhere then you would need to question why he prefers you on board as opposed to the other institution. If he hasn't been offered the money from elsewhere then you know already that this will be a high-risk venture and you need to keep that in mind when deciding if/how to proceed.
  21. It's a situation that I suspect most applicants would be very happy with. Unfortunately the OP appears to not be in that category. I don't see any reason, though, that they couldn't enter visa exempt for their first entry (just don't show the visa to the IO when going through immigration), and then use the METV for subsequent entries.
  22. Just in case you're serious, or somebody is reading this thread who genuinely is in a situation resembling the story you are telling: Go for a train ride, go paragliding/parasailing/sky diving/jet skiing, learn an instrument, learn to cook, pursue a (sensible) business idea, get involved in some kind of charitable organisation, take a bike trip, learn a martial art, learn a language [can you speak Thai? That'd seem a sensible place to start], start a project that requires building up over time... a train set or a garden or a collection of something or other.
