  1. as it was mafia run establishment (according to bangkok post article 2 days ago) and that top police were already transferred from this station, this ministerial money will help all those involved in running this illegal pub. They might need it to hire top class defence team - just in case they happen to be prosecuted. Or to bribe some officials (even those from the ministry of employment) to drop some charges as "misunderstandings" and such
  2. april is also international. Even more expensive, that thai based. Wait 2 years from the last hospitalisation. Or try many other insurers in the meantime. There is inevitable, that at some stage, many will be forced to self-insure
  3. she is good [email protected] not sure what office she is working from. Might be working as well from home. The AA usually recommends the pacific cross plus another one for choice/comparison. For cheaper insurance, bridging my 300k deductible, she recommended Thai Health and Viriyah
  4. this 27 year old kid is not an owner of this establishment which was originally opened in 2018. He is just a menager there. Owners were mentioned in an article in bangkok post - local mafia figures, one of them was at this pub at the time of fire and run. Some 20 victims are still in ICU on ventilators, some in coma, so many more of them likely to die within the next few days. Five cops from the local police station were moved. All of them, from the true owners to corrupted cops should be charged
  5. to maintain erection for long you need sildenafil, which likely prevents Alzhaimer. But prostitutes don't live long and happy lives, might suffer emotionally, mentally and catching different diseases. Some of viruses and the other infections can lead to different cancers. So sex rather with regular partners, than just random
  6. there are discussions about them also on insurance sub-forum. Dubious company, but AA brokers have them on their list. My broker misterprakan doesn't have a clue who they are.
  7. well, there might be sometimes vax in form of nasal spray. Otherwise cetylpyridinium chloride, which might work for covid. Lozenges under name cepacol original are not available anymore. There is mouthwash containing it, imported from japan, not cheap. Or make your own mouth spray (possibly also nasal spray) from a pure substance (some cosmetic company selling it online n bangkok)
  8. so you need only one, on returned leg. Read about melatonin, might have less side effects.
  9. police is already covering the owner with contradicting statements: "Pol Maj Gen Attasit Kijjaharn, chief of Chonburi provincial police, said Friday that initial investigation discovered that uncertain whether the rear door was locked as the press earlier reported or not as the padlock wasn't found and further investigation is needed." "Deputy Police Chief Pol Lt Gen said on Friday after further investigation on Mountain B pub fire which now claims 14 lives that at least one exit door was locked when the fire occurred after 1am Friday in Chonburi province. He said it's unclear how many exit doors existed and whether more than one exit doors have been locked." - in this quotation name of this cop is missing, probably by mistake. quotations are from khaosod english fb
  10. if your wife was just enrolling to BUPA and they made this wide exclusion, she could try many other insurers (also those thai ones). Some insurers ask on their intake form for 5 years medical history, some for 10, yet some ask "have you ever had". Still, there is an educated opinion from some experienced forum member who said (on insurance sub-forum) that even if only short medical history is required, all previous also should be submitted. One of my broker's (misterprakan) warned me that axa would likely refuse my application if done within 6 months from a minor hospitalisation. But the other agent I have asked for advice told me just try and they think that condition might even not be excluded. I decided not to apply. Recent hospitalisations, with longer stays and operations will be classified higher, than mild short stays, for procedures which can't be done outpatient.
  11. I got printed check up results at the governmental sirirach. In an associated with this hospital secondary care hospital, called kanchanapisek, they have online hospital account with suppose all patient's data, but my check up results were not uploaded there. Neither scheduled appointments. And booking dr appointments is nonfunctional. Another government hospital gave me hospitalisation record and detailed billing all in thai. But not anything from check up. private hospitals give full print out. i once did mri at large hospital and disc record was handed to be passed to dr at my local hospital in the same network. on social security probably you cant chose hospital for any better.
  12. I always get return, one of the cheapest (and that never is direct). until july some airlines were offering full flexibility included on some fligjts, not all. On skyscaner there was a special temporary option to select only those flights. Probably they were not the cheapest once. Some airlines were offering free health insurance, later reduced to only covid insurance. They are gone since April. as to china, possible some other one in asia, there are still covid restrictions. Hotels only airside. Sometimes they are just capsule type and charge per hour. They are not cheap, but agoda might have them heavily discounted. I always take small towel and use free showers even if I have short connection. Also my own food for those long layovers, or in case of delays. but because those countries are in need of transfer passengers, they are the cheapest one, and by large margin. China Airline (or Airline China, dont remember their correct name) through shanghai is a round way to europe, adding many h in air. you are travelling at summer holiday season now, fares drop to near normal from september. And airlines still do have sales. Thai airways had already 2 of them this year, the last one all June. i find travel on my routes to europe near normal.
  13. how this tourist is so uncaring for his own health that he waited 10 days to ask for medical care. Puzzle is how he contracted this virus. And how his gf avoided infection despite staying together for over 10 days.
  14. how he suppose to be recognised, if his face was blurred out. Usually in bum bags people do have some documents, mobile phone. Take out sim card and check with operator with whom is was registered. Also on camera there might be some pix pointing to his identity. He should now be allowed into cell with those items
  15. looks, like substance similar to styrofoam was used as an acoustic insulation in the ceiling and walls
  16. I think attempted murder charge is too much - they just shoot at building. No anybody was targeted and no any injured. The nigerian monkeypox cross border swimmer was wiser to avoid thai immigration check.
  17. They fly bkk all the time, it' just phuket they abandoned at the end of season. It's a tourist destination, and small airport. They can fly anywhere bar the EU, USA. as to russian citizens, they can cross to helsinki, belorus, baltic states, and the states in the south and fly to anywhere in europe. Turkish airlines serve some 7 cities in russia. Also russians can fly anywhere through the middle east. I think this figure 76k who entered thailand is wrong, understated. In january-february russian citizens were at the top of arrivals to thailand, as they well knew they are escaping war. Later they dropped from the top 10 statistic. Pre-covid they were coming up to 2mln per year. Many on winter holidays chartered flights from travel agencies, mostly phuket, but also utapao. Aeroflot was flying to bkk daily, 2 arrivals, at morning and at noon.
  18. it's some 5 days "news". there was no point flying for them to phuket after the season has ended. There were still serious covid restrictions, which started to be liberalised only from May. They are still flying to BKK. Looks, like a large part of their traffic were european passengers transiting through moscow. Once all connections to europe were cancelled, they couldn't sustain phuket route. Connection to BKK has commercial value, cargo both ways
  19. looks, like he has no tumor diagnosis or any other illness. Trying first a cheaper option, readily available, to check what effect it will have, than getting one with potential serious side effects, should be a better option. No home oxygen generator makes 100% o2, no need for it. I think max is 93% and at low volume around 1 litre per minute (that can be stored in a special plastic/balloon coming with the compressor). I have briefly checked on HBO and oxygen therapy for cancer, and looks like it's not used on it's own - rather supportive to chemo and radio. Also HBO can used after radio to lessen side effects
  20. so still yanhee is 11k cheaper. You can approach somdech for thai price, arguing that you are resident in thailand, that you pay cash and that insurance doesn't cover it. Go with a thai person, wife. Possible with somebody from medical profession, even nurse. Or a military, even marine officer - active or retired. I have a retired marine officer brother in law, who served in bangkok on chao phraya base, lives next to me in Thonburi. Show them yanhee quotation, which is 550b cheaper for foreigners, than this 4k in somdech. if they refuse thai price give them offer for 3450b, same as charged at yanhee. As chamber requires a group of patients offer them time flexibility and notice of appointment at short time. When they have any cancellation from patients you jump in their place. If you can explain me why do you think this treatment might work. What is diagnosis or what is your suspicion. Why an ordinary portable oxygen generator can't be tried first, which is much cheaper to use and can treat yourself at home (I have such generator at home). Thanx
  21. So you have met her on tinder and you had as much boom boom as she had, and probably more (iincluding ladies of the night). If that, more likely you gave it to her. hpv also spreads by skin to skin contact. Also you kid has it. It's not as hiv/aids. Screen yourself for cancer every year, 40% of hpv cancer cancer is in men
  22. if yanhee is 30 minutes longer than somdech, why don't you chose them.
  23. so yellow shirt fascists supporting the current PM. What a surprise
  24. I have one brand oxystar oz-1-08TM0. Portable, 6kg. From 1 to 7 litre per minute, depending on concentration. Can be used by 2 people. Also nebulisation container. Never used, bought at the beginning of pandemic. Can rent for 250b/week. Delivery 500b or pick up in west bangkok. Deposit 4k bht. That model costs 13k bht.
  25. pacific cross has published now new premiums, which in broker's slang they call them "new normal" - a slight reference to covid. So they are old policies with higher premiums. For plan "premier plus" (that one for 3ml): for age 56 jumped from 59k to 63k 61 from 70k to 75k 66 from 96k to 103k 71 from 144 to 154k for 300k deductible there is 50% discount in premiums. Until age 76 they have also 20% discount for not claiming. So those premiums can be lowered by up to 70%. After a large claim they increase premium by 25% for 2 years and no claim benefit is lost. Their accident part of this plan covers only to 200k, but can be upgraded to 5mln at rate 145b for an additional 100k cover, so to 5 mln that would be additional 7k. Broker wrote to me that they don't have all data from the PC: "We apologize as they only release the up to 75 premiums to us as after 75 it will be based on renewal of the client". The PC has also stopped issuing Visa Friendly plan (it appears it was better value, just my broker was not offering any deductible). the old quotation, send to me recently in July was age 76 from 194k, age 81 from 241k, 86 from 304k. They did not include from 91 - probably around 400k, and from 96 - probably below 500k
