  1. Excellent article. An accurate, well researched and thought out piece of work, instead of the usual puff piece propaganda essays we are used to. The author should have included in a footnote about her legacy as an unusually well informed stock trader, and also her husbands recent DUI car crash, foot dragging by authorities over releasing mugshots and info, and Paul's attempt to bribe the arresting officer by giving his police donor card instead of his driving license. An incredibly brazen effort, and disasterous for Pelosi's legacy. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/paul-pelosi-allegedly-slurred-speech-drug-system-handed-police-privilege-card-dui-bust
  2. The former President got Xi to wind his neck in, and kept him on a short leash, so it can be done with competent leadership. Of course the howls of racism and bigotry were deafening, but in those days the notion that China were about to invade Taiwan was a distant thought. I'd recommend going back to the Trump position of severe tariffs and no familial business activity with the CCP or affiliated firms.
  3. You mean kicking the hornets nest was intentional, getting stung was just for fun? I can assure you this vanity trip for Pelosi and co has massively provoked China and put relations at an new all time low. This at a time when the USA under the Biden regime is already a laughing stock after essentially arming the Taliban with $85b of war weaponry, got us in a "proxy" war with Russia, and the world is teetering on a precipice. I do not care what the left wing media is saying. There are zero achievements or gains by this provocative behavior, and so very much is lost. But, at least Pelosi has big face for a day or two.
  4. So after all this, would it be fair to say the extreme emotional reaction to the Supreme court's ruling was completely OTT? The mob trying to hunt down judge Kavanaugh - perhaps going a tad too far? As we now see in practise, states can decide for themselves, exactly as we tried to say a few weeks ago when all shades of pandemonium were breaking loose.
  5. Credit where credit is due, she is doing the right thing in going. To have backed down and openly showed fear of Xi would have been potentially catastrophic. Well done Nancy, next time maybe don't announce sensitive visits beforehand.
  6. False. "The helicopter was seized days before by the Taliban from the Afghanistan Air Force, the outlet reported. Talib Times also shared another clip that it bragged was the “first flight of black hawk,” after the Islamic militant group was earlier filmed making doomed attempts to take flight in one of the US choppers seized when they took power." https://nypost.com/2021/08/31/video-shows-man-hanging-below-black-hawk-flown-by-taliban/
  7. Trump planned to withdraw yet keep a small peacekeeping force there to ensure the chaos that Biden's sudden departure caused did not happen. This is 100% on Biden's head. Your statement is factually incorrect. Trump never planned the incredible display of American weakness and fear that Biden managed, which led to the rise again of AlQuida(the topic of this thread) "He ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration left for him — a plan that protected our people and our property, and ensured the Taliban would never dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America," he said in a statement. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-blasted-biden-afghanistan-withdrawal-plan-american-troops-taliban-2021-8
  8. I can't help being concerned that Al-Quida could be strengthened by Biden's dumping of an estimated $85 billion worth of weaponry and planes(because abandoning them is cheaper than flying them out)? I would prefer to be attacked by a goatherder with a slingshot than one in an Apache helicopter all guns a-blazin' for sure. I am also concerned that the fears after Biden abandoned Afghanistan in scenes of pure chaos have come true. That Al Quida would be a thing again. During the Trump years radical Islam was basically forgotten about, he dealt with it perfectly. The spectacular attacks on Europe were a thing of the past. Sad to see another Trump success unwound by the current incompetents.
  9. A reminder of how straightforward and sensible Mike Pompeo is. As was the whole of Biden's predecessirs cabinet. Blinken wouldn't know where to start. “We’ve seen … where Hollywood has kowtowed to the Chinese communist party. The NBA has kowtowed to the Chinese communist party. It should not be the case where an American administration, the president of the United States, should do the same thing. I don’t agree with Speaker Pelosi very often. But she made it clear that she wanted to go visit … Taiwan, an independent, sovereign nation. Now, the Biden is administration is saying, ‘Well, maybe that’s not smart,'” Pompeo said. https://nypost.com/2022/07/31/pompeo-slams-biden-for-not-backing-pelosis-possible-taiwan-trip/
  10. Please be honest. He told the crowd in his speech to make their voices heard "peacefully and patriotically", that is before anyone got into the capitol and way before the only person that died a violent death at the scene. that day Ashley Babbit, an unarmed female who was shot dead by a cop. That he backed up his earlier comments with a Tweet at around 6pm does not deserve mockery. He could have been concerned it would play out like the leftist insurrection the CHAZ which lasted for weeks. Reasonable that he would have concerns the right would copy the left's playbook.
  11. Correct. He made the now legendary make your voices heard "peacefully and patriotically" Tweet. He then made 2 other Tweets which were deleted and Trump's Twitter account was suspended so he could not assist any further in keeping the protest safe and getting the crowds to disperse and go home. These deleted Tweets are a matter of public record, and show Trump was trying to persuade the crowd to go home. Having deleted allows bad faith characters - politicians and media - to claim he was trying to incite violence. But alas, as I said the tweets are public record. "“These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long,” he tweeted. “Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!” https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/06/us/politics/twitter-deletes-trump-tweet.html I am hoping one of the the Aseannow Trump haters can explain exactly how "“Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!” means to riot, fight and violently overthrow the government in an act of insurrection?? Not holding my breath.
  12. Never in my life have I been so toe-curlingly embarrassed by a political mess up. The ineptness, weakness and sheer incompetence of this Biden/Pelosi/Harris regime letting Xi own them so completely is unprecedented. After the Afghanistan disaster, the Ukraine disaster, the economic disaster, the frailty and repeated falling over disasters, now they kowtow to China and set the stage for a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. The world just could not get any more dangerous. 3 months till midterms, let's send these clowns back to the circus and get the adults back in control.
  13. I can't read Barr's mind. It is possible he was satisfied by the top 50 intelligence experts in the USA stating that the laptop that contained the devastating tome of evidence was a hoax. A hoax made in Russia, as the mainstream narrative went. After all, it is inconceivable that the top 50 intel experts would have colluded together to falsely claim this irrefutable evidence contained on the laptop is fake if they had no concrete evidence to base their claims on? "Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say More than 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter casting doubt on the provenance of a New York Post story on the former vice president's son." https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/19/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276 Yet the top intel people did falsely call the genuine collection of evidence Russian disinfo, a false narrative that predictably has aged as well as a bag of prawns in the sun,as we now all know. "Hunter Biden’s Laptop and America’s Crisis of Accountability The New York Times now admits the story was real. News and social-media companies will pay no price for suppressing vital information in 2020." https://www.wsj.com/articles/hunter-bidens-laptop-and-americas-crisis-of-accountability-nyt-new-york-post-media-allegations-political-connections-11647872692 Big Lies + Highly orchestrated coverups and disinformation campaigns = an angry public and Biden's poll numbers at historic lows. Makes sense, right?
  14. I believe his tanking poll numbers are directly related to more people realizing they were duped before the election into believing Biden was Mr.Clean after 4 years of believing Trump was Mr.Dirty. Daily reports and further evidence shows definitively that the public was lied to and misled before the election when the evidence of Biden's and his families questionable offshore deals was falsely called "Russian Disinformation" by intelligence experts and big tech censors. "President Biden met with at least 14 of Hunter Biden’s business associates while he was vice president in the Obama White House, casting further doubt on the president’s repeated claims that he had no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings. "I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings," Biden said in 2019. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/joe-biden-met-14-hunters-business-associates-vice-president "One of Hunter Biden’s former business partners referred to Joe Biden as “the Big Guy” in a panicked message the same day The Post broke news of the infamous laptop from hell left behind by the president’s son, The Post has learned. James Gilliar, a former British special forces officer with ties to UK intelligence services, discussed The Post’s exclusive report with an unnamed person on Oct. 14, 2020, according to the message provided by a whistleblower to GOP congressional investigators probing the laptop. In the message, Gilliar, 58, reassured the person that the revelations about Biden’s apparent involvement in his son’s foreign deals would not be damaging — regardless of the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. https://nypost.com/2022/07/27/hunter-bidens-biz-partner-called-joe-biden-the-big-guy-in-panic-over-laptop/ Incredible such explosive news is not more front and center. Liars are bad right? A lying President is a big problem. Biden is the current President of the United States and leader of the free world. It is high time his secret dealings with the Chinese, Ukrainians and Russians are investigated properly. If Biden thought his overseas business dealings with his son and brother were kosher there would have been no reason for the denials and proven lies.
  15. I'm guessing after 6 years of the most intensive investigation(harassment is more accurate IMO) by multiple agencies and most of the press, if Trump had committed any charge-worthy crimes we would have heard about it long ago. A real shame that all Presidents are not treated equally, and an equal interest into their potential crimes, whether in the US or abroad.
  16. "Within hours of President Trump's decision to restrict travel from China on Jan. 31, top Democrats and media figures immediately derided the move as unnecessary and xenophobic -- and they are now beating a hasty retreat from that position as the coronavirus continues to ravage the economy and cause scores of deaths. Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden led the way, quickly attacking what he called Trump's "record of hysteria, xenophobia and fear-mongering" after the travel restrictions were announced, and arguing that Trump "is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dems-media-change-tune-trump-attacks-coronavirus-china-travel-ban
  17. Sensible enough proposal. I would take this opportunity to buy 1 rai of beachside land and a nice house. Maybe Hua-Hin, Chumpon or Samui. Condo life is great, but you can't beat owning your own piece of heaven outright.
  18. "In the wake of the nation's move on June 9 to become the first in Asia to decriminalize marijuana, some experts have called the decision hasty and "immature". Removing the police from the marijuana supply chain is immature? Absolute bunkum.
  19. Not amused how "my body, my choice" was classed as non permittable speech for 2 years until Roe vs Wade was overturned and suddenly the narrative turned on a dime and "my body, my choice" was a good thing again. Forcing people against their will to make questionable decisions regarding their health was IMO an unforgivable sin. And it is hypocrisy in the extreme trying to claim the high moral ground. So, nice try, but no sale.
  20. Twitter will be forced to disclose all internal memos in court. This is an unprecedented disaster for Twitter. We will know all about their real thoughts on fake accounts/bots, and also their censoring conservatives, which didn't they previously deny under oath, yet Veritas did some stunning investigative journalism and found Twitter was being run for political influence (helping democrats) rather than being run for profit. Against their. fiduciary duty to shareholders. Ouch! End of the day, Twitter is in deep, deep trouble. And it's all their own doing. So satisfying watching this clumsy propaganda outlet come a cropper. Mr Musk, bless you, this is one thrilling ride. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10823295/Twitter-does-not-believe-free-speech-Twitter-engineer-recorded-saying-censor-right.html
  21. I believe what we have seen with this hopeless administration is exactly that. Box ticking with no thought whatsoever for competence or suitability for the role. Ms Harris, first black VP Ms Jackson, first black female SC judge Karine Jean-Pierre, first gay black immigrant spokesperson. Lots of boxes ticked - and a complete joke. I'm just looking forward to the adults getting back in control. This woke admin is a dangerous failure.
  22. I'm sure I asked you before to quote Elon Musk specifically stating that he waived his rights to due diligence - and couldn't care less if Twitter fraudulently exaggerated it's real user numbers. Still waiting. What I did see was a vague statement to that effect from some msm outlet, not backed up by documentation. I liken this waived rights issue to the 0.2% weed/extract misdirection. People read something and take it as total fact, even when it is patently nonsensical.
  23. Did Tyson foods claim a dishonestly low bot count in order to win more revenue from advertizers? Did they lie about this on their SEC filings? I suggest there is no similarities in the 2 cases. BTW, IF it can be proven that the bot count is SUBSTANTIALLY above Twitter's claimed 5% it will be about the biggest fraud since Enron and Theranos. Parag will be making license plates for decades. Watching with interest and not buying this oft repeated, never properly substantiated "Musk signed away his rights to due diligence" for 1 second. I have a good nose for BS and this smells a lot like it.
  24. Interesting viewpoint, thanks for sharing. I heard Epstein owned a small island in the Caribbean where he flew super VIPs over for some fun in the sun wink wink, with these trafficked girls. If such a scenario was found to be true, would these powerful men have done anything wrong?
  25. This is an unusual case. Normally after Maxwell was found guilty there would be major efforts to bring the men that paid for these young girls Maxwell was trafficking to justice. Paying for and sexually abusing young trafficked girls is still a crime, right? Yet there is no effort whatsoever to name and bring these evil men to justice. How bizarre. Was Maxwell found guilty of trafficking young girls to nobody?
