Hi
Any suggestions about where to get decent Irish style pork sausages in Bangkok or even British style, to cook at home?
Thanks

@RhodeIslandRed maybe next time you are there, you could post a photo of the buttermilk? Thanks.

Hi
Anyone recently bought/saw buttermilk (for cooking) in Bangkok? Any suggestions (based on seeing it in the shop and not just guessing Villa Market,etc...).
Thanks

As of December 1st, the maximum you can send in a single transfer will be 49,999.99 THB. The change is due to new regulations introduced by the Anti-money Laundering Office (AMLO) and Payment System Office (PSO) for Thailand and applies to all money transfer companies. Azimo
I received this email from.one of the peer to peer transfer companies earlier this month. I check with Wise and they say no limit for them to Thailand. I haven't done a tlf since the new laws.

Hi
What suggestions/recommendations do members have (based on actual experience) of basic Covid-19 insurance required for entering Thailand which covers asymptomatic conditions which requires 10 days mandatory stay in a facility.
Thanks for the help

@hioctane FYI, all scaremongering but the whole plane doesn’t go into quarantine. Only close contacts (within meters) go to quarantine. Although, how many meters is not clear. Positive goes to hospitals/hospetals and negative goes to ASQ.
within meters - one row of seating is 10 people. Many flights wont be full but the risks multiply with the number of 'near' passengers. Many people will be doing two legged flights etc... As you said in your reply 'how many meters is not clear'. That's the reason for the posting. This is not scaremongering. As an adult you can take your changes and see what happens. If a member of crew who has been serving your section of the plane tests positive, that might fall within your definition of close contacts (within meters).

@Ty Hareways don't forget to factor in what happens if one passenger on the flight or cabin crew test positive.
I assume it's quarantine for all at one's own expense depending on the T&C of of the insurance policy (if you are not the positive one).

I've done 4 Covid ext based on a visa exempt. The IOs each time have confirmed there was no need to do 90-day report.
Some TVM feel it's necessary (basic maths suggests this) and others feel it's not being enforced as the extension is effect the 90-day report.
I'm not referring to Changwattana, retirement visa etc... just MTT and visa exempt entries.
Your reply based on actual experience would be appreciated.

The last 4 times I've been at MTT, submitting the application (Counter K) and then returning 14 days later, I would be surprised if they were more than 150 people per day. I usually arrive around 10-11am.
Each time there were less than 6 people in the room.

@ravip The suggestion to google "whats the difference between Active-dry yeast and Instant yeast", was more for you knowledge than mine, but i guess you know that.
Thanks for the edit and second link. I had already found that yesterday. That was why I specifically asked "Any member know which supermarket stocks ...."
But again, i do appreciate your efforts. Thanks.
Google is so helpful.

@colinneil Is it their own product or they just stock it? If the later, could you take a photo of the packet/box and send me please.

@ravipthanks for the quick reply. It would be very useful and helpful if i was looking for Instant yeast. Since you have mastered google so well, do a search "whats the difference between Active-dry yeast and Instant yeast"

@xylophone I concur with ur views on Sloane's. The Op is titled 'Sausages (Irish or British style)'. Not 'any type of sausage'. Tks for the reply.
