  1. Shouldn't be that hard of a task ... Gaza Strip ... For reference, about the area of urban Pattaya, the land mass on the W side of Sukhomvit Rd / Hwy #3
  2. Not a bad move for the USA. Location for naval base, small air strip, along with all the oil off shore. Win win
  3. I disagree, and assuming you referring to states that require an ID. Everyone should have an ID, as that's simply common sense. There is nothing hard about getting an ID in any state. IMHO, to vote, you should have an ID, to register & vote.
  4. A true 'air fryer' operates on a different principle (air circulation) than your convection oven, mis-labeled 'air fryer' for marketing. Same as our 56L convection oven, labeled 'air fryer' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfdAj9D90FQ&t=42s&ab_channel=PrudentReviews
  5. Seriously, buy the 9L, as 4.5L really isn't much room at all. Better to have too much, than not enough. Our is 4.5L and I'd have a hard time cooking a 'meal' in it, even just for my self.
  6. Only ~78% of voting age are even registered, ~262M of ~335M - wiki & google Only ~58% bothered voting either, ~52M, of 262M voted for either - wiki
  7. If SB's coffee was good, it really isn't that expensive. Their cups are considerably larger. If the Ma / Pa vendor, small chains charge 50 or 60 baht a cup, then SB, is about right. Ma / pa & chain vendors, you might get 5 oz / 150 ml, without the AC & comfy seating. 8 oz / 236 ml 12 oz / 354 ml (Tall) 16 oz / 473 ml 20 oz / 591 ml My morning cup at home is 400 ml, and cost all of ฿20
  8. Totally understandable, not accepting anything but cash, if vendor is charged a transaction fee for use. I'm totally against fees for transactions, as the whole point of electronic banking, way back when introduced, was to lower the banks operating cost. Or sold to the people that way, not to increase profits. Cash paying customers should get a discount, or the transaction fees should be an add on, to those that use such avenues to pay.
  9. Hell Yea ... anything for more visibility 👍
  10. I have to say ... you're one F'd up individual The only time I want to smell smoke, is when someone is grilling or passing me a doobie. Even when the wife is burning trash, I stay indoors ... no marshmallows or wieners cooking during the burn Hypocrisy - the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform.
  11. I get that most fruits are nutritious, but if I was a diabetic, I'd use a bit more judgement in which fruits and how I ate them. I'm not even diabetic and I try to pay attention to my fruit sugar intake.
  12. So, he set a fire to a sugarcane field that he doesn't even own ??? It's not the usually burning off the excess before harvesting ?
  13. It seems YT has taught the world how useless PoPo really are, and if brazen enough, you can do what ever you want. Off topic ... hard to argue relying on the 2nd Amendment if owning a business in the USA. Would think a lot more YT vids of criminals being capped, instead of clearing shelves would have a nice effect, on safety in shops 🙄 Probably against YT policy as 'promoting violence'
  14. How is "the safe standard of 37.5 µg/m³ consider safe ? I turn on our air purifiers when it goes into double digits. They keep it well below 10, if on 0-1-2 µg/m³, unless we're cooking something. When in the real world, it much lower. Even the highest is 1/3 of what Thailand considers safe:
  15. Agree with the gist of the OP, the 'extremist' didn't do the 'cause' any justice, after finally getting some acceptance 'socially'. Though I still haven't a clue, what the LGB folks need to fight for, what freedoms they are denied in the workplace. What are these, and why even a topic in the workplace ? ... suppression of gender-critical viewpoints ??? ... restore protections for freedom of speech and conscience ??? You go to work, you do your job, you go home. Who cares what you sexual preferences are.
  16. 'Never been', but Saxophone Pub always gets a mention from folks. Only reason I mention, is because Koh Mr Saxman plays there, and he quite good. Seen him many times at the Hua Hin Jazz festivals. Only problem, his sets are usually very late in the evening. Familiar with a couple other groups that play there also, and decent.
  17. Thanks ... as that crossed my mind as I was making my coffee this morning. Remembering how bad the coffee was at StarCrap, the one and only time I sampled. Although that was 25+ yrs ago, I've not read anyone say anything good about their coffee from the outlets. It must be the way the outlets make it, as the beans themselves get decent reviews when comparison reviews are done on YT. @ 16 mins of this vid ... Definitely agree with Dunkin's coffee, as use to be a favorite of mine at Udon Thani, and the gal always brewed a fresh pot for me. 😉 Although I prefer a darker roast of late. Don't Yank bash, I'm sure 'yours' is probably better 🙄
  18. To compare EVs of 5 years ago to today's is a bit silly. Tech has improved so much, and will continue as we see the batteries with more range, lighter, cheaper coming out. They've improved and gotten less expensive since we bought our, just over 2 years ago, and that was a nice upgrade from the previous version. Older versions have racked 100s of 1000s of kms, even the 1M mark.
  19. for only 75 baht more, you might as well get the 9L one https://shopee.co.th/Megaomei-Air-Fryer-เตาอบไฟฟ้าเครื่อง-All-in-One-ไม่มีพลิกอัตโนมัติในครัวเรือนหม้อทอดไฟฟ้าขนาดเล็ก-2024-สไตล์ใหม่-i.1326230612.27016404860
  20. I own a MG ZS (IP67 rating ) ... I'll never test this ... but ...
  21. @jimmybcool As an aside, and more relevant to a golf cart type EV, our E-MC, has NMC chemistry, I think, and I've seen estimates of 500-1200 cycles. That powers a 3000w motor. It's 3.5 yrs old, and really haven't any noticeable degradation. Probably has just <7k kms on it. I expect to get at least another 5 years out of the battery. Battery itself is 72v50Ah = 3.6kWh. New upgraded model is 73v58Ah, but LFP chemist4y👍 Have priced a LFP replacement between 15k-20k baht.
  22. It will depend on the chemistry of the battery. Here's a comparison, old, and new chemistry (LFP), that most newer BEVs use. Supposedly a conservative estimate for LFP batteries, as some state, will last up to 10k cycles, so 2500 is pretty conservative, if not damn negative number. A cycle (1), if you don't already know is 100% charge. So if you run down to 50% one day, recharge, run again down to 50%, and recharge, you used 1 cycle. The red text, is 'our' car, and my ball park estimate of life, and still retaining 70 ish %, to be on the negative side. We average about 20k kms a year.
  23. I'll just address the first, highlighted part, as the rest is too silly to bother. Electric has risen maybe 25% in 25 years, since I've been here, and most of that, has been the last 2 ish years. The grid has gotten better every year since arriving.
  24. It would be for me, even if needing to top up or just enough to feel comfortable, once at Rayong. A more comfy, better performing vehicle at less operating cost. Anything else is irrelevant IMHO Should be no hassle at all to top up.
