  1. You app may not be measuring street level pollution, as it is horrid. Stand on any corner waiting for the light to change to cross the street, and the diesel exhaust is nauseating. After a stroll around, and you smell like exhaust, with a rough throat & a cough. Not much green on the Krung Thep map, and we're barely in the green @ 49
  2. Official statistic of what, observing what. These the same people that state the USA isn't bankrupt, but technically, couldn't pay the debt if it was called. Spend more money every year that they don't have. Same people that print money backed by nothing, and profit from the interest on the borrowed mony to pay the interest on the borrowed money to pay the debt. The same entity that has no gov't oversight, and answers to nobody, well, except themselves, and we all know who they are Feel free to piss down my back, but don't try to tell me it's raining 😎
  3. Then I should have already died. Bacon today, Bratwurst yesterday, Bbq fish the day before. Pepperoni Pizza, Salami, all within the past week. Had Swiss cheese tonight, and always got Swiss, Provolone, Parmesan in the house, all contain nitrates. Eat eggs daily, more nitrates. Lived in Memphis area 5 yrs before coming to TH, bbq & smoked ribs, weekly. Same with Philly, Italian sausage, Scrapple, Kielbasa sausage, Beef frank, pork hot dogs, bacon bacon bacon. Ham, Capicola, Italian ham, spicy ham, import ham, almost lived on Hoagies (sub sandwich) and pizza, at least weekly, for each, a Hoagie and a Pizza. 25 yrs of a weekly bbq fish here in TH. Pork flavored rice meatballs, and some kind of bbq'd meat weekly. Was addicted to crispy pork belly for a while, out & in house, but Makro stopped selling with the skin on. Always beef jerky in the house, as ours & dog's treat, instead of processed dog treats. We prefer most of our calories to come from Proteins & fats. I'm smelling a new tax on foods with nitrates, to add to foods taxed with sugar. Already tax the water, beer, cigs, soon a tax on the air we breathe. Add those taxes to the ones on your house, that you may already own, petrol for the vehicle you were taxed for when purchased, and all this paid for, with the money you earned, that had an income tax levied. Before you even get paid, you're taxed, along with everything you buy, and then individual taxes on the ingredients of the food .... WTF UP THE REVELUTION Oh wait, I don't live in ding dong land, and only pay one VAT tax and 'luxury' taxes on things we don't need, (excise tax on vehicles) ... carry on Shh, don't tell anyone ...
  4. That wasn't my info, that was from the US Dept of Labor. Oh yea, links that I post, the lefties never look at, but comment, simply proving their total ignorance, or believe in any 'FACTS' when presented. Shoot the messenger, not the message, that didn't come from me, I just delivered it. US Dept of Labor wouldn't know anything, even though they regulate many things. Your numbers are from what orifice, or are you so ignorant, that you used the COLAs given out to Soc Sec benefits ...
  5. Not cherry picking at all, just 4 of the basics, I live on here, TH, as I would there, USA. Fruits & veggies are seasonal & regional. Those raw materials carry over to prepared & restaurant pricing. Do we dare mention property & rent prices ... 20 what % Just pointing out, you know nothing about the inflation in the USA, or much else that you post about, including Trump. .... 20 what % over 4 ish yrs
  6. Google AI search ... In the year 2000, the average price for a dozen eggs was about $0.91 In late 2024, the average price of a dozen eggs at Walmartwas around $4.15 Chicken priced at $2.08 in 2000 → $3.97 in 2024 According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, prices for chicken were 91.07% higher in 2024 versus 2000 According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, prices for uncooked ground beef were 189.15% higher in 2024 versus 2000 According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, prices for pork were 70.63% higher in 2024 versus 2000 chicken, pork, beef price ... source: https://www.in2013dollars.com/us-economy
  7. Hey, you can't get 'em all. The one that survived, might have wished he didn't ...
  8. Yep, especially when other bring RU & the world into the thread, so I added TH (AU) w/ USA price comparison, you know, to stay on topic Oh wait, I'm way off topic, as it IS about Trump ... "The Trump administration this year has imposed new tariffs" ... The title, simply a catalyst do spew delusional thoughts, as usually.
  9. Always think of this commercial when cooking bacon ...
  10. OP simply a 'delusional' lefty and just another Trump bash thread. Which doesn't affect us in TH, unless you buy USA product, (why would you), if even from the USA, as most outsourced to CN, MY, ID. I think inflation here, for me, is just CP's price gouging, since purchasing Makro, and simply raising their price to stay just a tad under the other chains they own. That margin has gotten smaller & smaller. Monopolies suck ... 🤬 Some replies turned it into 'world pricing', blaming climate change Trump and climate change ... just excuses for price gouging. My only concern is whole foods, as avoid processed as much as possible, and that sort of stays steady in TH, as too much competition from fresh markets, so CP can't go too crazy. Actually prefer Makro in that sense, though more expensive, but hopefully quality control is better. Dry goods & imports, well, we're screwed there.
  11. Beef prices consistent all year, AU Harvey brand (whole pieces) as like cutting my own steaks ... ... sirloin cap ฿799 kg / $24.66 kg USD or $11.21 lb ... Sirloin ฿829 kg / $25,58 kg / $11.63 lb ... tenderloin ฿949 kg / $29.29 / $13.31 lb Seem to have a serious number problem, Makro (by month) receipts from Nov 2025 to now ...
  12. Yes, and drivers are trusting, if not home, will drop over the wall, in proper spot, and wife will pay via online, sometimes immediately, sometimes not, but within the hour. So they don't need to wait at house for payment to clear, as sometimes we aren't at same location. They send me or her the barcode to pay. She pays, as I don't do scan paying. She has one account with small balance for online, scan, QR paying.
  13. That does work, and it's been so long since I've seen porn, I almost forgot how boring it is
  14. Apparently that hasn't worked. The US Navy not as corrupt as border patrols, or can their families be threatened, like local working folks by cartels. About time the military actually took over defending the borders, as previous administration seem to have failed miserably. Nobody is invading Europe, and anything, any body stationed there is a total waste of recourses.
  15. Our is 100% Arabica. Dark roast to top it off, as not a fan of bitter coffee.
  16. Coffee is Thai grown, Chumphon, roasted at Krung Thep, and price has been the same all year. Slight, <10 % increase last year. Beef is AU import, and didn't notice any major price increase, though can actually check this year's receipts, as we save them. Bananas come out of the garden, but when bough O&A, think normal pricing. Get back to y'all on the beef
  17. KhunLA replied to still kicking's topic in General Topics
Nah, if diabetic, I'd avoid, or at least eat with something else to lower the glucose spike. Extremely ripe are higher on the glycemic index also vs greener ones.
  18. Jomtien .. No thanks, been there, and no reason to return. Add the stories about the Imm office there, oh Hell NO.
  19. My observations during the scamdemic, anyone, acclaimed docs, virologist who spoke out against or posted warnings about covid, testing, vaccines, no matter the status prior, most positive, they were all of the sudden, 'under investigation', and I found their warnings all, most, turned out to be spot on. Heeded their advise and definitely no regrets about not getting vax'd as know a few that had extreme negative effects from it, as did a few AN members. Along with any of the postings, scrubbed from the internet, and their 'under investigation' status noted everywhere. Yet, you never heard the results of the investigations, and they seem to all, most still practicing, I believe, as not heard differently. Surely we would have, if any results of the investigation was anything more than just silencing them temporarily ... IMHO As we're finding out the issues of mRNA vaccines, now the free speech is once again allowed. No different if you speak out about other vaccines.
  20. Haven't noticed any major price increases recently.
  21. Thanks, just read the report as it showed up in my feed. Mindboggling the studies have been buried. Assuming most replies didn't bother reading the report. Typical
  22. Had it the first 2 trips out, and only registered with MG, and really no reason to worry. Didn't last long, as there a CS just down the road now, on all major highways (1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 21, 32), and even secondary 2 or 3 number roads. We almost exclusively use PTT Parks / EV Station Pluz. PEA @ Bangchak or PEA, usually 2nd choice or MG (restricted to MG members). Elexa is also good. Registered on a few other, but rarely use. So far, they are keeping up with demand amazingly well.
  23. USA ... ventilate ASAP to maximize profits, and no matter, (NY ) classify it as COVID, get 3X the pay out, than incubating for any other reason. $$$$ https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/04/24/fact-check-medicare-hospitals-paid-more-covid-19-patients-coronavirus/3000638001/ Even bias left leaning Scopes agreed ... that must have hurt
