That's why I don't live in a tourist town. A couple big ones, pluses for me, a Yank, in TH, my income isn't and won't be taxed, along with no real RE Taxes in Thailand, keeps owning (house, not apartment) or renting prices down. And I kind of like the weather, (location depended for both SP & TH) though a bit warm at times, AC & Solar handles that, inexpensively, but cooler region means lots or air pollution, so fair trade. Couple months of poor air, not too bad compared to North of us, as we're below Hua Hin 100 kms, and air purifiers keep things healthy for us. Throw in cost of BEVs, along with that solar again, and our monthly bills are a pittance. I know many, especially single retirees can't pull that off, and EU may have some advantages for citizens of / healthcare, maybe. Alcohol is low low low priority and we rarely indulge. Along with being a 'whole foods' eater, so very little processed foods, which are more expensive that raw whole foods.

Mine agrees with the automated ones at the hospitals, 2 types, tested against, along with the mercury hand pump thingys, and tested against. Runs on batteries, so I took it with me. Along with high rating from those that test such things. Geez, I thought I was non-trusting of all things 🙄 On that, wife asked me, more like stated ... "WTF, you bought 2 more meat thermometer, and an oven thermometer" "Yes, to test against each other, to make sure they all agree, or how far off" Surprisingly, they all agree, el' cheap to not so cheap. I'm a .... "If I didn't see, it didn't happen" ... kind of guy, and thought you figured that out by now. "Honey ... we need more tin foil"

Must have misspelled it ... THANKS Patts has a few more people, and a bit smaller Hua Hin, a few less people and a bit smaller

That's one opinion. As I stated, what he states, I put in practice and got the results he talks about. Believe what ever.

It's the exact one that 2 doc's offices use, that I've been to, and it pretty much agrees with the ones at the hospital

I got mine ... here Make a bit of noise, the compressor filling the compression strap. Could always use ear plugs or headphones. Though better listen to Phl Ochs or John Prine, to keep BP down, instead of Jeff Beck If you knew all that, and didn't learn anything, congrats. If the opposite, oh well

Wing Zaps are tasty, when fresh out & hot. Zinger (chicken sandwich) is good when hot & done right, or not so, when it isn't. That's all I've ever order. Oh yea, egg tarts are decent. Inflation has hit them, so really on pop in when O&A. All local vendors do all, better or as good, and cheaper. Nice change when O&A if PTT Park food court, ma/pa vendors, or 7-11 doesn't have anything interesting. KFC being last choice.

Arrived today, and damn tasty. They ain't kiddin' when they say 'spicy crispy', and packed full of crispy onions. May have to hide it from the wife. Although, if I show her the vid, she'll have to make a batch, as no way will she be out done by store bought

There's this thing call the 'appeals' process, and doubt if anything he's been charged with would make it past that.

Fronting Hate: Tennessee's Troubling White-Supremacist Gathering
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
All of 10 ish protesters, and this is news. Of course our resident ' _ _ _ _ _ _ ' somehow brings Trump into the thread, as with most threads -
First 2 statements ... ... 'they are inconvenient for most drivers" .. no they aren't ... "they are more expensive" ... no they aren't, they are better, and that raises the cost a bit. Returned in less maintenance & operating cost 10 fold. Tariffs & taxes make them expensive, since the better ones are usually imported. Or the manufacturer has to import the batteries, again, more expensive due to tariffs & taxes, besides simply not making themselves. 2 misconceptions was enough. Mandates are controlled (timing of) by the govt, who seem to be controlled by fossil fuel industry, and dragging their feet, upgrading the grid & alternative energy sources. Hoping they'll make it impossible for the grid to handle all the EVs, thus need to push the mandates back as they profit selling their crap fuel. Literally harming people with low level air pollutions, especially diesel. Sad part, nothing hidden about it, and the brain dead populous just cower & comply, because they're too F'g stupid & scared to speak up. M.P. Mills, co founder of Montrose Lane Inv. Resent investment ... "Ambyint General Information Description Developer of an artificial intelligence-powered optimization software designed to help the oil and gas industry" I couldn't make this sh!t up, so you listen to the guy that profits from oil & gas, and I'll invest in BEVs & Solar, and not listen to my wallet crying, when we drive past the petrol station or pay the PEA bill

high popularity from UA news ... bias strong popularity from MSM ... contractor profits medium popularity from ... limited if any low popularity ... right leaning folks, probably more accurate, as there's is an exodus from UA, before, during & after RU stepped in to protect their folks, and demilitarize UA. Looking at the exodus photos, it certainly wasn't women & children first with men wanting to stand by UA & Z ... Go figure and nuff said

Need to consider battery chemistry. LR & Performance models are usually not LFP. BEVs perform well enough for me, not sure I need or would use any more hp/torque. Longer range, realistically, how often will you really need it, especially in TH. Do you really want to drive 4+ hours without a break ? May be an issue when selling, or if keeping very long term. More cycles with LFP (ignore MG reference.

Warning Signs: The Looming Collapse of a Critical Ocean System
KhunLA replied to Social Media's topic in World News
If the doc wants to prescribe a pill, to treat symptoms, instead of discussing how to eliminate the cause, then correct, I don't trust them. Scientist ... IMHO only ... usually agree with who ever is funding their research. I no longer trust the CDC or FDA either, as lied to us enough. If last few years haven't highlighted that, oh well, discussion over -
Yea ... easy High, strong, medium, to low ... UA news, MSM, ??? to right wing

That Amish treat, Scrapple, and haven't made this in a dog's age 😎 No scraps for mine, used pork tenderloin.

Beach Bar is a stretch Maybe rest/bar in a beach town, as a 4 lane divided road out the front door of the place. Food looks decent, although all the options on the menu, I don't think I'd be ordering chicken, unless really jones for it.

I saw a few news-blips / op-ed, stating support for Z & war waning fast. Although not many in MSM, and of course, that's understandable, as Buddha forbid if people knew the facts, and corrupt politicians & defense contractor's BS was exposed 😎 ... IMHO of course, and probably many disagree, and is their right, as I'll disagree with their IQ, as is my right

What’s Better: Cisgender or Transgender Thai Women?
KhunLA replied to 123Stodg's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yes, we'll be out protesting, burning and looting the cities, if we don't get the recognition we so deserve. Donations accepted, and maybe we, WDM can be USD multi millionaires, like that other terrorist acronym group UP the REVOLUTON -
What’s Better: Cisgender or Transgender Thai Women?
KhunLA replied to 123Stodg's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
No Google It's a silly made up gender prefix, by the alphabet folks. Cis imply means they identify with what they were born with / as, male or female, as if a prefix is needed. Goes with their mental illness ... IMHO -

My Thai Girlfriend Wants Breast Implants. Should I Approve?
KhunLA replied to hankypankee's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
A lot depends on the implant, size, material. Some you can't even tell it was done, and others, agree, simply gross, especially is using a denser, harder material. Best (I've sampled a few (USA) ), is simply using your own fat elsewhere, and enlarging the breast with that. Not sure if available here in TH, but trust me, you can't tell the difference 😎 -
If you have the money, and don't spoil your partner, will she still be around? ... I think not. What world do you live in ? What are you saving the money for ? Spend it & live a life. Or live in a box, eat and drink at 7-11, and get a P4P once a week or month with those savings

I'm going take what OP stated with a large grain of salt. He did state ... ... "I went to eat lunch at a beach restaurant" ... Are y'all reading the same thread I am ? And €450 is ฿16+k not ฿8k ... "Rent is 450 EUR for an apartment" ... Locally, there was a 3 bdrm townhouse, only ฿15k, but didn't take dogs, so we passed on it. With unobstructed killer view ...
