  1. Just read the first couple sentences. If you subtract the fake wars since 2000, and the market/bank bail out, then that's a huge part of the deficit, along with the interest to maintain it. Also the Medicare / Medicaid cost now, since ACA was written by the insurance lobbyist, and cost are through the roof, and a huge part of the budget. Tax cuts certainly aren't the problem IMHO. Year 2000 & onward, and doesn't include 2024
  2. Simply report the post ... they can't read 'em all. Hopefully that's the reason 🙄 I was surprised myself that wasn't deleted, sort of.
  3. We have a few store bought glasses, but lately, just make our own out of spare bottles, as we prefer to buy things in glass bottles vs plastic. So what's not used as a water or whatever bottle, gets cut down to a glass.
  4. California ... No, I don't believe anyone, but have enough common sense to see through most BS. Enjoy your protesting and disrupting other people's lives
  5. Fat is necessary for fat soluble vitamins & minerals. I used this site, and put in some foods, for the day. And add things when curious. Did enough times so I have a ball park idea of my fat, protein, carb ratios. I don't put in everything I eat, every day, just some of my usual foods, and just get a ball park idea. One surprise from the info, was the high amount of saturated fats I was taking in, hence the cutting back of high saturated fat oils. Get enough of that with chocolate, dairy/cheeses & nuts. Would like less carbs, but apparently that's not going to happen, and keep my smile factor. https://www.fatsecret.com/Default.aspx?pa=m
  6. No argument here. Fat & cholesterol don't scare me all. Less saturated is better, or should be, but my diet is about 50% fat, 30% protein, and 20% carbs. So a bit Keto ish, though hard core Keto wants 80% fat, 15% protein, and 5% carbs. I prefer the extra protein to slow the muscle atrophy that comes with age, and a bit less activity. But I'm definitely not following the 'health experts' with their silly, upside down food pyramid. And never felt healthier, with blood work #s to agree with how I feel.
  7. To the title .. No, nobody can stop CN's dominance, as long as they are producing most of the products for your companies headquartered in you own country, that subs all the manufacturing out. That's exactly what Trump is trying to reverse. Though he'll fail getting the results everyone wants to see, yesterday, and may lose control of Congress mid term. Then you're back to the total control of the deep state again. Be careful what you wish for .... Som nam naa
  8. How do they tell if something is effective vs one's natural immune system ? Especially for something like shingles.
  9. You mean the paid protesters with the mass produced, premade signs ... yea, so real. Remember BLM, yea, more protests, for those that have nothing to do all day. You protest with your vote, your voice, not disrupt other people's lives with illegal activity. There's vids online (not MSM), where people admit getting paid. Not even knowing what they're protesting. One showed everyone leaving at the same time, as they only got paid to a certain hour. Of course MSM was notified to be there. Believing MSM is why things are mass to begin with. Believe what you want, told. I'll think for myself, thank you.
  10. There is no need to cook with any oils or fats. Just for convenience, transfer of heat evenly, and less stacking, and of course, added flavor. Your body does need cholesterol & fats though, and easy enough to get, if not a vegan. I'm a big fan of eggs, 2 or 3 everyday. I've also cut back on Olive, peanut and coconut oil, as high in saturated fat. Started using Canola mostly for cooking. Peanut for deep frying, since we have, though haven't decided what to use after we run out. Cut back on my coconut use, mostly makin chocolate. Easy just to buy the brand I like and not any healthier, just easier. Bestmate chocolate (70% cacoa), 29% sugar. Cacao part is powder, mass (?), and butter. More sugar than my homemade.
  11. Boeing has been in trouble recently way before Trump was elected. Actually did very good during Trump 1, till covid hit. https://www.google.com/finance/quote/BA:NYSE?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi_ktDyzOaMAxX3UGcHHTtuMwwQ3ecFegQIPRAf&window=MAX
  12. Yea, MSM called as close, with Harris leading most of the time, right up until she lost big time ... go figure The red looks even better if you pull up counties won, as apparently, she barely won some of those states. And why the EC appoints the president, not the popular vote. He's another thought for you, where's all those illegal immigrants going ? New Dem voters, not needing ID to vote, or worse, allowed to vote. Carry California (54 EC votes) & New York (28 EC votes) and you got near 30% needed to win (270), with just 2 or the 50 states. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/fact-check-map-showing-trumps-004800031.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAEEV2LNXAhDT28hZbZBCSvHjisZtYa29cO8pUfkoGI2XCozV9bDBjcWwaJqPRAD61rqUT7veWHefD-98aM1Ly5BR52sW0lrjMbGMjvDhWpUfc46gFpO2ZxNB10BSg5eeuEFHC92hPtQ7gciviqbi70AkLbFe_Z6Qh48pu39Yp_Sk
  13. That must have been put out by big pharma. Well known how oxidation of cells & sugar play a role in feeding cancer cells, and starving them seems to be a much better way to control & shrink them down, even disappear, than what big pharma pushes. At least shrink them down to the point surgery may actually work. shh ... don't tell the patient though, as no profit there
  14. Yes, and it seems misery loves company. I'm a half full glass kind of guy, and if lucky, it might overflow. Always trying to make that happen 😎
  15. 10+ years later, and have a very rare flare up of the nerve. Still can't pinpoint what sets it off. Thinking something in my diet, though have to say, can't remember the last time it happened, since going on a keto-ish dining lifestyle, with intermittent fasting. Though that may just be coincidental, and after 10+ yrs the nerve finally settled down.
  16. Yep ... good decision for myself also, back in 2000
  17. They are in USA via TPS, emphasis on the 'T' part. I think I would have made plans to go elsewhere while in the USA. Just a thought. About 3 mill in Pakistan also getting ready to be sent back. Sucks being born in some countries. Maybe if they would have fought or helped the USA when there, against the Taliban, instead of running, the Taliban might not be in control of the country. USA can't be the saviors of the world. Especially when there's US citizens homeless and 40 million on some kind of fed or state assistance to feed their families. If Biden cared, he could have given them US citizenship, or some other means of protection. IF HE CARED, or the other 535 idiots in gov't. edit; If you care about them, I'm sure there's a program, where you could sponsor them, in the USA or some other country, at your expense. IF YOU CARE. Some people complain, some talk, some do ... which are you ? Why you waiting till last minute to help, has been ongoing for years. IF YOU CARED, you'd have help a long time ago. Here's how you can, or could have help ... And to add ... NO, I don't care. I don't care about people that run from their country, when the country needs them. They had 3 choices ... ... fight against the Taliban, for a country they wanted ... fight with the Taliban, for their version of the country ... or run away from the country, and hope someone saves them LIVE WITH YOUR CHOICE
  18. Nah, always been that free spirit, independent kind of guy. Does amaze me when I think about it, that I'm in a tropical country on the other side of the world, completely different from my first 45 yrs of life, except for holidays. First 45 yrs, Mostly based in Philly, PA, US area, and certainly not the world travelers like many others. Especially when most friends & peers, I grew up with, still live within 100 miles from where they were born. If not working for the airlines, doubt if I would have travelled much myself. Probably just USA, CA & MX, and not far from the border.
  19. YT Keto bread substitute, not that I really need one, especially an expensive one. Earlier it was all cottage cheese, egg & cheese mix baked, but not a big fan of cottage cheese, and not cheap here. Now it's cheese & onions baked. Don't know about bread texture, but damn, it smells good. Have plenty of cheddar from the 2 for 1 sales a month or so back. Using some of that up. Recipes call for Mozzarella and or parmesan or cheddar, alone or mixed. All cheddar since having a lot, with onion and seasoning. One has pickles instead of onions, as another version I saw.
  20. Good news ... highly unlikely you'll get it again 👍 Yea, it sucks. Depending, maybe, when noticed and med taken, you may have postherpetic neuralgia, or not at, or just short term, or like me, more than a few more year than you'd prefer. Unfortunately, if you do, just have to live with it. I've tried most recommended and not recommended, safe and or 'at your own risk' drugs, and none really worked. Didn't try ganga, or versions of; gummies & etc. Good Luck. I'm not a fan of unnecessary vaccines, so keep your immune system primed. I personally wouldn't bother with the vaccine. Just my opinion, and even think the 1-6% chance of getting again may be in the interest of those selling the vaccine, and again IMHO. Others surely will disagree.
  21. EC are the only votes that count, and a landslide by 27.5%
  22. Never asked to verify, though seems silly to, if bank sends msg to phone # on file that you opened the account with. Unless someone has your phone & suspicious transaction done. Did have to verify me, online (phone) with facial recognition, when changing my 'transfer limit' setting. Though that was cool, and excellent security measure, having to blink, to avoid someone simply holding a photo of me for verification 👍 Other than than, as mentioned, never need to verify.
  23. Yes, I'm surprised myself, as felt staff posted mostly (IMHO) 'left leaning' topics/threads, and why I ignore most of them. Had to do a double take on the 'author' Refreshing 👍
