  1. Very nice ... 👍 We went down to Betong, Yala, late March this year, and a very nice trip. No issues at all.
  2. On the way down, just off Hwy #4 Nong Yai Area Development Project under Royal Initiative Couple nice viewpoints, N of TWL beach Khao Dinsor ... migrating birds of prey (seasonal) S of Chumphon town Thamsing Cafe Garage Cafe ... pit stop for a munch
  3. About time. The purchaser of said firearm, should be responsible for same.
  4. .... "Ahmet met the woman through a dating app in June and soon believed he had found true love. By late July, she had convinced him to send money'"
  5. Hey .... y'all forgot MG
  6. Of course he would say that, as still in the race. then. Who would not pardon their son ?
  7. Yes it is, and our preferred place to go. Surat Thani, Phang-nga, Krabi, NST (& Phuket, but only during the pandemic). Great scenery and decent food. Non-touristy areas.
  8. Never really noticed a 'fly issue', and been there more than a few times, especially Thung Wua Laen beach, about 15 kms N or town. Rarely do western food when out & about, or at any restaurants. Like Chumphon, though don't visit & stay there like used to. Think I've been to and seen most that would interest me ...
  9. it's got a penis .... it's a real man/male HINT: there are no fake men/males this has got to be a wind up BYE BYE
  10. I did pick up mine, at start of following school year. Still have it in a box, somewhere here, along with a bunch of other 'memorabilia' Even have every final report card from every grade, I think. Love the last one, absenteeism - 40 days
  11. And yet, with the 100s of deliveries, I've never had that happen 😎
  12. enjoy sex with men and women ... hmm ... let me think for a sec ... yep, definitely 'Bi' ENJOY
  13. Yea ... what he said 👍👍
  14. Sear in beef tallow, about 1 min on best looking side, then flip every 30-45 secs, till reach internal temp desire, 130-135F / ~55C, very short rest, as I like my steak a bit hotter than just warm. Those less experienced cooks can do a reverse sear, (1.5-2' thick) as pretty hard to screw that up, if having probe thermometer. Thin steaks and real easy to go pass your desired temp, why I prefer to cut my own. Few pre-cut steaks are cut thick enough for my liking. Added advantage of cutting steaks off a large piece, get plenty of fat to render down for tallow. In our area, Makro carries 'Harvey' brand, and decent pieces of Sirloin or Picanha.
  15. Damn ... 😭 it is then 👍
  16. Unwilling will depend on one's driving and how many kms they rack up in a month. If we couldn't charge at home, then easy enough to charge while shopping or having a meal and certainly wouldn't be an inconvenience. Topped up at home the other day, and since then 3 days / 3 trips into town. Approximately 28 kms total, using ~7%. Times that, 3 days/7% by 10 times, for a month's worth of kms, and we'd have to top up once a month. Easily done while shopping and or eating, since going to be there anyway, once a month. Not charging at home isn't the end all to owning, unless you need to top up every day or every other day, due to high kms driving daily. Everyone goes shopping or out for a meal at least once a week.
  17. Air fryer good for fast small food prep. We use, but for us, 2 people, far from practical to make a meal. I need a larger convection over, since doing a bit of baking. Sometimes not wanting a powerful fan on while doing. Eggs, would think 2 weeks, and about a long as our slab of 30 last anyway. Yolks still nice & furm. We only buy frozen salmon, and already vacuum packed, so stays fresh for quite sometime. We also have a vacuum sealer, and highly recommend, as stuff last long when vacuum sealed, since you probably be stocking up on protein. I'm a low carb/high protein & fat eater, skin on & thighs/legs vs breasts. The 'What are you cooking today' thread is quite good, for tips, and I post there when making something different, and usually post a recipe or source that I followed. Follow a few YT'ers and very helpful with many things. Happy Cooking
  18. 50th class reunion was 2023, and since I didn't even attend the graduation ceremony back in 1973, having better things to do, its safe to assume, I didn't attend any of the reunions. As stranger things happen, my last job @ NWA, and I ended up working with 4 alumni of our high school, 1 from my classes, and 2 other, sort known associates at the time also, since dippy hippies. The other, an in law to my present GF while working there. Small world as paths cross decades later. Then retired here, and in Udon Thani, met ex NWA employee, and a good friendship developed.
  19. Hillside munching ...
  20. Ignorance is the only reason not to by an BEV, unless you must have a pick up truck. Aside from unable or unwilling to charge. Price certainly isn't a issue. Range shouldn't be an issue for most people.
  21. EV haters rejoice ...
  22. Damn, I guess I've been blessed. Y'all are making me feel appreciative of my life and partner experiences. Had a couple that were a PITA, and avoiding would have saved a headache or 3, but none that turned me off of being in a future relationship. Though do admit, #4 as a pleasant surprise as had no thought of long term relationship after #3. That she was mother material to my daughter when I was playing single parent probably had a lot to do with it. As 1 GF before her, yelled at my daughter for not being respectful enough to her elders (me), in the Thai sub servant way. She was gone that weekend, as free speech was allowed, as long as done properly. Another was gone because the daughter didn't warm up to her, and was ignored. It's a package deal ... bye bye.
  23. As long as you got friends w/bennies, living alone is easy. I've had 2 lifelong friends w/bennies, along with meeting a few along the way, most coworkers while doing my 13 years at NWA, and longest stretch of living mostly alone. Breaks in between 3 marriages were longer than the marriages. Here / TH, was a bunch of very short GF, or one night stands, since never established any friends w/bennies. Seems everyone ones to get married. No thanks, I needed a break, did that 3 times. And then, along came #4 ....
  24. 7 was re-establishing old and or new relationship. Thought that was kind of silly, unless partner kept you from you family & friends. Or maybe if happy & occupied, you simply let old friends and family slip away. Things that living with someone really shouldn't affect. Some of it, most of it, was like ... 'why would a relationship interfere with any of it' ... unless a controlling partner or just took up all your time tending to partner's needs. I'm bored, so I watched it. Still digesting, even after the walk in the park.
