  1. I hit 100kg here, and talk about feeling uncomfortable. Been as low as 78kg, which I felt really small at. Got out of boot camp (US Army) @ 75kg. I'm comfy between 80-84kg, any bigger and I'm uncomfortable. 80kg seems to stick for past 5 years. Good to have a couple kgs extra, in case I get sick Better than too thin, in case body needs some fuel.
  2. Looks like a pay wall to me. And NO ... I don't give my info, just to read news. I get very little spam, and want to keep it that way.
  3. Yes, he'd do the same, and he's almost accomplished his agenda. Might of been a bit more strategic with taking out top UA gov't & military officials, and then crossed the border. Think it would have been a smarter move. Obviously got a bit more ground resistance than expected, along with being resupplied from afar. ... Oops
  4. Both, gained, loss, gained, loss, though not different than before retirement. Although now, past 10 ish years, have a constant weight I'm quite happy with. Credit that to intermittent fasting, (daily), and stop eating around 2100-2359 hr - until about noon the next day. So 12-15 hrs, and half of that is while sleeping. Coffee and stay occupied in the AM, with no hunger desires. Easiest way I've ever maintained a steady weight, once past 35 ish years old.
  5. Aside from the fact, it's never going to happen ... IMHO ... no idiot (Putin is not) is going to attempt to fight 2 fronts/enemies at the same time. No reason, no positive, nothing to gain from it. It's just ridiculous to even suggest it.
  6. Anyone falling for this silliness ... "Senior generals within the alliance are urging member states to prepare for the possibility of Russian missile strikes targeting critical infrastructure across Europe, including Germany."
  7. ... 'The situation highlights the volatility of the renewable energy sector and the challenges companies face in maintaining economic stability" Reads more like major mismanagement. Months without pay ??? Lucky the employees got 'legal' involved, as I suspect something else was afoot. Good on them.
  8. Available now for downloads, and also enjoyed it
  9. Looked at a couple recipes, and meat, cabbage, onion, spices & wonton wraps, with first ingredient having most of weight. Dim sums are so inexpensive here/TH, partial to the pork ones, that I couldn't be bothered making. Use to get Siu Mai – Chinese version (much better), almost daily on morning school run @ Udon Thani. Old Chinese guy would be set up curbside in early AM. No detour, and didn't even have to get out of the car. Quick brekkie for daughter & myself. Quality time ... BLISS
  10. That's a silly price for something so easy to make. Might be 1 kg of meat in them, per 1.5 kg pack.
  11. LAZ rep 🤣 from: Just called Mrs to giveaway (no charges) either wifi/vacuum, air fryer or grill something ? Just have to send them your LINE acct, so they can send you photo item & pick which one you want. Mrs called LAZ ... no such giveaway
  12. Happy never sells, just doom & gloom. Pro ... would be most of the reviews. Taken with a huge grain of salt of course. Though the non legacy auto makers don't seem to have a problem with negatives being reviewed, and continue to supply vehicles to YT'er that give mixed reviews. Then more than a few folks with 1 - 3 -5 year updates, and quite happy, pointing out some negative. But no 'dead' batteries costing 1000's of $$$ to replace. Sure the Nissan Leaf hasn't faired well in reviews, but one of the very early entries, with horrible flaws. That one making the rounds, and Nissan did give them a 33k voucher if buying a new one. Hard to cry about that. I would have bought it, then sold it. Then bought something cheaper & better They're out there, pro vids, just need better search terms. Usually by 'owners', and what I based my decision on. Sadly for ICEVs here, I went with reputation & price, and got what I paid for. Though MG ZS didn't show up till 2017/18, I think. Only the MG3 and fell under the 'get what you pay for' stance. Toyota Vios & Mazda 2 served us well, but reality, were POSs. and if in USA, no way, and better model, same or different brand would have been better choice. Simply not available here/TH. Thai excise tax on 'made in TH' really jacks the price up 100k too much. How the same versions cars are sold at about the same price in the USA, with all the added cost of production in the USA is amazing. Mind boggling pricing. Though wouldn't have bought neither over there, or new, as 2nd hand market isn't crazy like here or was. Bit of gap now, but before, no sense in buying used here, as not much off the new price.
  13. That's with any product, especially electronics, and easy to see the past couple decades how so much has gotten better, along with much cheaper. For myself, upgraded enough from original, along with too old wait, and uncertain how long the govt incentive would hang around. They were extended, and nothing new coming to our EV, except larger battery, which we don't need, or willing to pay for, as 949k was a stretch as it was, for transport. Even gets a price drop, a few times the past year. But if we kept our ICEV longer, before selling, maybe another 10-15% depreciations (40-60k) and missed out on govt incentive, though extended. Plus, a year of petrol savings (47.8K), So pretty much a wash with price reduction of 80k on the ZS, when in affect, vs 80-100k (depreciation & petrol cost) over that year or so, till price dropped. BYDs & GWM just arrived, and not network. Which changed fast. Do like that Atto 3, though at the time, a couple 100k more than ZS. Now about the same, when ZS not discounted.
  14. That's fairly obvious ... ... you can't leave that door open without me walking though
  15. You could always watch the vid, maybe the 1st minute or less, actually 30 secs. 2014 predicted battery prices would fall to $50 ish kWh, by 2027, and all thought he was nuts. It will probably hit that this year. Then vid simply goes into the why. Screenshot for you, of his prediction and why it did appear unrealistic, at the time.: Another take away from the vid, along with the price drop, since a large part of BEVs, they will soon be selling for less than ICEVs, though that has happened already, as far as I'm concerned. Value and out performance, with low maintenance & operating cost, and there's not much need for ICEVs in the future. Personal cars anyway. ... IMHO
  16. it's got quite a ways to go ... any ฿3 / $1 USD
  17. I really don't remember the names of the place when O&A, unless I do a review of. Especially Krung Thep, as we try not to stay in the same areas, unless have to. Whatever is in walking distance from the hotel. Sometimes ma/pa shop, other AC'd if available. I'm partial to Massaman & Curries, so can get a little spicy to very spicy. Som tam Tai is not suppose to be spicy, but unless the rinse the mortar out, it will be from residual juices from last batch, which is fine, and I rarely need to add Cayenne to it. I don't mind a little spicy, as long as it's not the only thing you taste, or fries your taste buds. Sweet & sour is always a safe, though I will add chili to that, if overly sweet. One of the few dishes that has veggies in it, aside from simply ordering a side of stir fry veggies. We'll eat mall food courts when there, though after 20+ years, I know what to order, always cooked fresh. If looking for Italian, Fam Time Steak and Pasta is quite decent, (not the pizza), on suk soi 16.
  18. If you eat healthy or unhealthy, location isn't going to matter much. I ate pretty healthy in the USA, and possibly healthier here/TH, as I cook more for myself now. I didn't do much fast food in USA, or here/TH. Ht / Wt ratio, always acceptable, and blood work, always in normal range. Always ate/eat whatever I want, though a bit less here, as don't burn it off like I used to.
  19. Unless you eat a lot of processed food, I wouldn't be concerned about your salt intake. 5gr/2000mg and 2300mg about 1 tsp, which is actually a lot of a salt. I put 10gr in a whole loaf of bread @ 870gr total wt. Some acronyms recommend 1500mg - 2300 - <3000mg Pretty sure I'm at or below recommended 2300mgr of table salt a day. Rarely eat processed food. Is it really bad for you ... Of course, there is always a study to contradict the other study Your body also retains or releases salt as it is needed, so drink your water. Let your body decide how much and or what type of sodium it wants. Eat what the hell you want, with some common sense.
