  1. Why should they cover the damage, as it was no fault of Neta. She had an accident, so it's claimed on her accident insurance.
  2. If I 45 years old again, and was looking for a place to retire in 2025, it certainly wouldn't be Thailand.
  3. Guess it pays to poor & liquid. Reckon they'll honor the DTAs, so leaves only my company pension, a pittance, and goes to my brokerage account, which I'm not sure they'll have access to, and only $4284 a year @ $1 / ฿33 = ฿141,372, leaves -0- taxable after allowances One visit to a hospital in USA would negate 20 years of any 'tax savings' for a Yank, if I lived that much longer The couple procedures I've had done here cost less than the 4 years or Medicare Plan B premiums, ~$8,000 I would have paid already Matter fact, make that all my medical expenses I've had the past 24 years of being here, cost <$8,000
  4. Had this one for a couple years, and does everything quite well. Info from Panasonic site info from label on back of:
  5. I've always had to provide income info, with backing information to verify. Since 'letter of income' from embassy, not valid since 2019, then monthly income DD with tracking required for extension. A couple time, lump sum 400k or 800k, and didn't seem to care where came from, just verify it's there. First retirement ext after Jan 2019, bank account not set up for DD, so lump sum 800k, and not asked where from. Hua Hin Imm office requires 3 statement from bank for extension based on monthly income ... ... balance ... source, includes tracking info ... statement of account activity Once the bank paperwork was screwed, and ask if have 400k to put in bank, "yes", do that and come back in 1 month, then the 30 days for approval after, apparently qualified for 2 months 'seasoning'. Surprised about that. Didn't ask where funds came from. Now on retirement ext, via monthly income, DD of Soc Sec, w/tracking.
  6. If you have to ask that question, then you simply don't understand, and it can't be explained to you.
  7. Yep ... all is good, better than expected. Dog, kid, wife all healthy. Don't want for nothing. Already pass expiration date for Yanks born in 1954. Passed most family members age, and knocking on some of the oldest. No health issue interfering with daily life. Almost keep myself busy and active. Really can't think of any negatives. Blessed & appreciative of every day forward.
  8. USA certainly has a few issues when it comes to owning a BEV. Mind boggling how this 3rd world country seems to be more advanced in that area. Embarrassing actually, for the USA
  9. Just started watching, love his channel, and his #1, pro ... INDEPENDENCE, and the #1 reason for me, having BEVs & Solar. Performance & savings next, in that order, which I'm sure he'll get to ... now back to vid 😎
  10. Your joking right ... and you're driving what, that 18 yr old thing still ? 2.73 M, and that's not even the hybrid price (start 3.2M) Their website sucks ... very little info, and what little info available, shows quite the under preforming POS
  11. Just a 5 year investment & return averages 39% yearly. Don't think the stock holders are crying much.
  12. Yea ... that doesn't sound right, and agree with your skepticism.
  13. @UWEB you could have simply lifted the seat of the Double Ace when at the shop, and just read the specs on the battery. Think that's the only thing that was upgraded on most of the MC. If not in stock, then pretty certain you'd be getting a upgraded version. I think the Double Ace is a new model all together. Reconfigured (Super Ace) to house 2 batteries, along with meter to read 2 batteries. With that, I don't think there would be 'old stock'. IF ordering from Hua Hin area, I would get from the Pranburi EV, as agree, the one shop HH that was there when we ordered, wasn't too keen on customer service. Past specs ...
  14. We used the Pranburi dealer for our DECO SUSU model. After test driving at the factory/warehouse, and wanted to order direct then. But they said stop at the dealer closest to us, and order. As didn't have one available anyway, at warehouse or dealer. Dealer actually went to the factory (Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom), 200 kms away from shop, and picked it up, as was in the neighborhood for something else. At the time saved us about a month on delivery. Then delivered to the house, about 75 kms away from his shop. 👍👍 I'd think it would be easy enough to sort out, with warehouse & dealer to ensure you get the newest version. Been out for quite some time, and can't imagine many are holding old stock. Not like they have that many in reserve, or the impression I got. All the ones, with few exceptions, including the one I test drove (in parking lot only) all were customer bikes waiting to be delivered. And the warehouse was packed, and looking like this photo below X3 ...
  15. Trying to keep my daily, healthy first meal, serving of eggs interesting. Call it a Spinach Omelet today, with nice heaping pile of Parmesan. Ribs the other day, then spicy ground beef another. Or side of Salmon or Beef steak, helps me keep on track, with a protein/fat rich meal, after my overnight fast.
  16. For ฿100k more, you get a much better spec'd car with the Neta V, along with warranty and network. Wuling is part of SAIC, also parent company of MG. Actually the Wuling is one of the top sellers in CN. The Wuling also gets badges as GM/Chevy.
  17. Maybe, if not, it's in the apps. Bangchak uses PEA charging cables, hence the off peak price. Same at PEA charging cable locations. Once looking at your apps, it will become common knowledge. Approximately ฿2 isn't really worth seeking out as charging up from about 30%-95% for us, would be alll of ฿60 saved. If you can't charge at home, then yes, charging up at night or weekends would add up over the life of the vehicle.
  18. I got here in Sept 2000, so the first house build then was inexpensive $1/~฿40, and first car purchase in 2003, even better. But as you can see, it's been 30-35 for quite some time. I wouldn't be concerned unless it dips below 30 again. Not that it really matters, since not buying any big ticket items in the future.
  19. Think it depends on the brand if not making yourself. I picked up a brand of bacon the other day while at Makro, as it looked really nice. Read the ingredients as I always do ... Pork 70%, needless to state, I didn't buy it.
  20. I see your cherries are ripening ... 6 whole hrs ... try 6 months
  21. I just find it strange people ask the easiest question to answer by one's self. Type the same question in google than the forum ... done Aside from the '?', seemed more like a statement to me. If a genuine question and I read too much into it, well, you now have the answer. I don't think either map is up to date, as I'm pretty sure I saw a NETA dealer at Hua HIn.
  22. ... and growing ... seems you only see what you want to Gmap Neta V site:
  23. That' would be enough to make me vote for anyone else. The ultimate war mongering profiteer endorsing anyone, well ... nuff said.
