  1. I think originally it was a 'tax' thing. Now it's a health concern, but when enforced, I think it's still a tax thing. Not sure if law been passed yet banning due to health.
  2. Not really. Suggested friends or reels, just ignore. But the other suggestions are annoying. Just use drop down, 'don't want to see' or whatever it is, and get rid of the 5-10 new ones on you feed, and that seems to turn them off for a month or so.
  3. Same, but no equity built up, while married to #1 & 2. Not till about 30 yrs old was I debt free, or monthly payment free. Tenants paying the mortgages, then all cash kind of guy, unless a new investment. Rinse & repeat. Wife #3 (Thai), big mistake, and imaginary safe with some paperwork. Thankfully the family liked me more than the wife, and didn't cause any trouble. Escaped that marriage ASAP, no financial loss, though walk away investment really. POA, so kept proceeds of house sale. GF/wife #4 (Thai), and long courtship, 2nd house all her name (walk away investment again). Eight year living together before marriage, and just for the hell of it. No decision to stay in TH, till daughter out of school (before Uni), and house sold. 3 yr tester living out of the NE (Udon Thani), at PKK before deciding to stay in TH. House & toys #3, all in her name. If she can put up with me this long, (18 yrs & counting) she deserves everything ... So, anyone need relationship advice ...
  4. That's why we stuck with the MG we ordered, as BYD ATTO 3 was just hitting Thailand. BYD certainly has set up a massive amount of dealers in a short time. GWM also. Seeing and driving the daughter's Atto, still happy with our choice. Would have stuck with the ZS if we had test drove the Atto back then. Driver's seat is definitely made for a smaller frame, and I'm not large, 175cm / 80kg. Very nice car though, would definitely recommend anyone in the market to give a test drive.
  5. And yours is trolling AN ... do you need a degree for that comrade BYE BYE ... Have a nice day
  6. Yea ... I'd say her 1st day impression isn't going well She was really looking forward to it also. Hope the business end of the trip is better. She's at Guangdong Province, Guangzhou, checking out manufacturing for her business, as things getting expensive here/TH, to get produced.
  7. Scratch China as a close short holiday thought ... ... daughter is there now, and well ... at least the food is good, so far
  8. Like Kamala Beach, and last week supposedly ... not too bad at all ...
  9. 😎
  10. What are you trying to do ? The ones in the OP would be quite easy to do. Mine were quite a bit more difficult, especially me & EC, photoshop and had to blend colors & shading to match. Other ones, were just making a transparency, an layering it on 1 or 2 other photos. No program to make the transparency, and had to erase by hand the background. Now one click programs online for most things & free. Here's an online app that will do (remove backgrounds) for free now, just one click & done. link for ... https://www.remove.bg/ Here's a before & after, then you can layer the after on any photo. Layer that on any photo using this link
  11. I don't think there is one that is not overrun. Way too crowded last time there, and off season. Last time, was the last time we'll be visiting, till the next pandemic ... hopefully soon
  12. One can only hope ... 🙏
  13. Wow ... well you certainly told me... 2X. Very insightful and well thought out rebuttal.
  14. Yea, I noticed that. Seems the DNC is about Trump, and what he's done or will do, and somehow not about Harris, and her record or plan for the future. Go figure ... just push the hate. MSM doing the same, with harris on a pedestal for being black (mixed race) and a woman. DEI ROCKS ... no matter the qualifications. Too funny & sad all at the same time. Oh well .... me me me .... GO HARRIS
  15. Rolling the dice .... sushi dinner. Actually the shop is spotless, and sushi, small amount out at any time, sitting on chilled plate, I think. Tasty stuff
  16. Yea, I'm not getting all the SUV designations. Not exactly what I'd call SUVs. Even our MG ZS is silly to be called an SUV. Love the extra head room (not needed), and imagined roominess. But reality, the EP so similarly spec'd it's silly for most to pay the premium 170k difference in price, when ZS not on sale, or 50-100k more when is on sale. Plus of ZS is driver's door, getting in & out with a mediocre back. Higher seating to look down on the little people Shorter for easier parking. More glass and visibility. but less cargo space than EP as ZS is taller, but EP is longer, so does squeeze in more, though 1 pc sizing may be an issue.
  17. Did you get the ticket in the same province the car is registered ?
  18. Did something change, as I've had cars registered in my name, and no different than if in wife or Thai's name, buying or selling. Last 3 were in wife's name, simply easier if I crap out, and she'll avoid any 'death tax' if there is one. First 2 in my name, 2003 & 2008.
  19. If or when the BEV ever dies .... nothing goes to waste. Add to the Solar system. Here's a couple lithium drone batteries repurposed as a power bank ...
  20. I'm going down South again and converting. You bleeding heart Christians and your 'woman's rights'. Y'all really screwed the pooch there ... DUMB ASSES On topic ... yes, still hold the wife's hand, every now & then, when the mood strikes. Though not as much as ex GFs/wives in USA. Hot ... damn hot, and sweaty hands are uncomfortable. I don't do P4P ... so N/A to OP. Get strange looks when holding daughter's hand 😂
  21. I still peek in the toilet, to make sure nothing waiting, out of habit. Even knowing the sceptic tanks are sealed and no real entry points. The house is fairly snake proof. The walled yard, not so much, even after the OTT effort and mod to the gates & doors. They still manage to get in, to the point I'll do a walk around before letting the dog out for a sniff. For a quick P, she's on the leash, so not to run around ... a leash in your own yard 🙄
  22. Don't think I've ever had. Not sure I'd like that. We always have a couple jars of pickles going, and some sauerkraut (not cooked).
  23. Boredom ... how many times do you need to repeat the same history, English, math, physics, geography. How often am I going to use Latin or Spanish. Never considered myself more intelligent than anyone, but other students would take note, study at home, and do no better on tests than I did, by simply sitting there and paying attention when they covered something new. Most teachers go over what's going to be on a major test, the day before. Pay attention, and they basically gave you all the answers to the test. One teacher would tell me, you need to be here, this day, as test the next day That was Spanish, which I didn't even need to be there before the test, as already had 2 yrs of Latin. More about conjugation of verbs (had in Latin) & such, and obviously less about vocabulary memory. I was actually surprised the lack of memory most student exhibited. Really ... 1776, 1787/88/89, how do you forget that. We live in Philly FFS. Can't remember a simple Algebra formula. Refresher after refresher after refresher ...
