My usual morning cruise, from 8-15kms, with a couple on hwy 4. Consistently get about 360kms per charge around town. Beating the WLTP rating of 320, which is about what we get at highway speeds of 90kph. 46.3kWh ÷ 12.7/100kms = 3.64 X 100 = 364 kms per charge

Most of the govt school education (high school 1-12) was basically useless in everyday life, with exception of math & science/chemistry/physics. Certainly didn't need 3 different languages, English lit, art or history, as anything else was an elective. So basically 6 classes a day, only 2 useful, and repetitively redundant the first 8 yrs.

In the past, never understood the salt on fruits, but now know the science of it, and it does seem to make sense. Though i still don't do, myself. Surely it's added to my Thai Spicy Fruit Salad, and a favorite of mine here/TH.

I came to my opinion, because of my research. Believe what you want, but sweets & pastry have been a mainstay of my diet, forever, and still no ill effects, coming up on 69 years. Though never a sugary soda pop drinker, or alky, so avoid most of the sugar others consume, along with avoiding overly processed food.

I don't think sugar is the demon ingredient it's made out to be. Saying that, agree, sugar as an ingredient is way OTT at times here, and worldwide. Really have to read the labels, and try to exercise moderation. One of the reasons we avoid processed foods, and many restaurants.

That's just sad, and people actually want to live there. No wonder Brits are a large percentage (relative) of expats, worldwide.

I get my 2 daily walks in with the dog every day. Not exactly speed walking or long distance, but a least I get everything moving, instead of being sedentary all day.

All the other petrol users. @ 39+ now. E85 used to be 28% less than 91 Now it's like 5% less than 91. Making EVs look very attractive now, for those that can charge at home.

Now your talking my language. Use to visit Ybor City/Tampa & Clearwater Beach area at least every month for couple weeks, when working at PHL airport, having a friend w/bennies living at Clearwater. Can't beat a Cuban (sandwich) or their beans. After hours salsa clubs rock.

Really, never tried myself, as don't like them anyway. We do baked beans more as a casserole dish, side or even a main meal, depending what's in it. Usually: onions, green/red peppers, spicy sausage, leaning toward a bbq sauce flavor, spiced up with Cayenne pepper. Nothing even close to what comes out of a tin. How Mum served them up as a youngin', never out of the can. Ham instead of sausage, and not spicy.

Ayam are pretty gross, and can't believe people actually eat them. We I bought them, it was Brooks after discovering. Although I'd pour the tomato sauce, and doctor up the rest, add veggies & meat. Straight from the can, I can't do it, and wouldn't give it to my dog without tweaking. Since silly priced now, (3@220 ????) we just get dried beans from Makro.

NO, we rarely used a living room. New house doesn't even have one, and the sofa sits in hall way in front of the sliding glass doors to the veranda, which is the perch for the dog, awaiting the squirrels & tree shrews to run by on the wall, to bark at. Never sit on the floor, not with my back Yes, but no massive wall unit. Just sits on the speakers, for that theater big screen look. They make all kinds of ingenious space saving furniture, Very cool & practical.

Heinz Baked Beans recipe – copycat

Was thinking how skint do you have to be, to ask friends to bring baked beans over. Especially with the limited amount of luggage they are allotted. If bringing anything, bring something expensive here, that cheap there. If from UK or EU ... maybe an 'Instant Pot' ... see below why. Buy dried and make your own. Canned beans, straight out of the tin, taste like crap anyway, and I can believe people actually eat them that way. Don't want to soak them overnight or cook for a while in slaw cook afterward, buy a pressure cooker, or better, an 'Instant Pot', Duo 7 in 1 cooker, and eliminate the need for the other 5, as it doesn't do (1) rice very well.

I just ask ... "What are you burning now ?" Almost always when steaming or boiling water. Finally got her to use a timer when boiling eggs. Aside from that, she a genius in the kitchen.

Got a scare the other day. Came out of the bedroom and smelled something burnt. Of course first thing on my mind ???? and ran to the carport, EVs still in tact ???? Someone, not me, steaming sweet potatoes, ran out of water in the pot. Honey, maybe use the timer next time.

I use our outside sitting areas. Front porch, morning coffee with the dog, as it faces West. Anytime in afternoon, on back veranda, as it faces East. At least a couple times a week, weather permitting. So I'd need a balcony facing North. Which would be preferred anyway, as less sun exposure on studio.
