  1. List of mass shootings in the United Kingdom "in the year ending September 2022, a total of 6,369 firearm offences were reported in the United Kingdom"
  2. 4th times a charm ... well, for me anyway
  3. I'm good for about 3 hrs, and on Thai roads, that's only about 250-275 kms, if lucky. Then it's a welcomed stop, half hour +/-, along with top up back to 80-90%, and a much. Though rare we make it to 3 hrs without wife, dog or myself needing a stop.
  4. those small salary increases don't help, when you can't afford to buy a house and start to build equity for your future. Being a slave to rent & car payments isn't progress, and quite the opposite. Biden's economy putting citizens prime true investment, equity builder out of reach for most. source
  5. I remember most of them, born 1954. Not a fan of; Patty Duke Daniel Boone Liked Mission Impossible & Man from UNCLE. I Spy was good also, though bias since from Philly. Outer Limits & Twilight Zone. So many; Zorro Saint Hogan Heroes McHale's Navy Star Trek Dark Shadows Voyage to the Bottom of Sea, until a silly creature every week Sea Hunt, actually got me interested in diving.
  6. And here I thought we were talking about politicians. So I won't mention of those leftist dems that supported those peaceful demonstration of BLM though out the USA
  7. Since you obviously don't use CSs or don't live in TH, then you wouldn't know that most/many of the DC machines, have 2 'fast' charging cables. Almost all that I've used anyway, and that a fair amount countrywide, to come to my conclusion of 'most/many' having 2 per 'locaiton'. Slow charger, as you can see, usually only have 1, though TBH, don't really pay attention to them. But this is the standard info at most on the road charging stations ....
  8. And that's one scary A$$ thought, considering her warmongering father. Anyone else seeing the 1st female president and WW III to follow if her star wasn't shot down.
  9. How would that be different than killing & eating plants ? Simply because they're not cute and furry, feathered or possibly more intelligent to plants. Or maybe since you can't hear the frequency of their distress when killed, it's somehow more humane.
  10. I didn't have the big $$$ or the time to wait long haul. So <10% a year wouldn't work for me.
  11. Yep ... I traded for about 20 yrs, and 2 things I never looked at or cared about, the Dow and S&P. Guess it's fine for those wanting <10% ROI.
  12. They / CSs are far from hidden, and really don't know how so many (obviously not in TH) are missing these signs:
  13. Thai food, straight from CH ...
  14. Probably prefers his men, younger & fit, and there's nothing wrong with that. As I do my women; younger & fit. But ... old guys with man boobs need a bit of love also. Live & let live I say ... sounds like a song.
  15. Can't find a CS ... hmm ... time for new specs source (Thanks Bandersnatch) PlugShare and Charge Loma are good apps for CS info, and filtering, along with vendor apps, when planning & while O&A.
  16. Dow Jones is a joke, especially as a marker for the economy. 30 chosen stocks. S&P is better, and been a bit of a rocky road since 2021. Even the Dow has been a bit rocky since 2021. True investors, don't pay much attention to either. Just more fluff for MSM. That's from personal experience as a trader.
  17. Ryan & Kinzinger, career politicians (20 & 12 yrs respectfully) and simply part of the problem. Cheney ... what a joke. A bit telling when your own party casts you aside. The old guard has to go, stop reelecting incumbents, if you want change, as they've failed the people for decades, while enriching themselves.
  18. I think newer condo will be more accommodating to EV owners. Daughter just bought into one, and its was only a couple years old development, delayed opening sales by covid, and a huge builder (IDEO), which does accommodate charging in the parking area.
  19. Answered so many times ... more than enough. I think slower chargers at malls make sense, as fast chargers are simply that, fast. Means instead of browsing around the mall, maybe getting a snack, meal while doing, you'd have to return to your car, unplug and repark somewhere. Some malls, have both (Bluport @ Hua Hin, that I know of). Even Lotus's now have fast chargers, and If I couldn't charge at home, would be quite convenient for us, as we only go to the local Lotus's to have ice cream @ Swensen's. Park, stroll in, hit Swensen's, maybe top up my Dtac, and 30 minutes is up, and EV would be topped up. Or maybe an hour or so, if at 20% and wanting to go past 95%, as that last 5% & equalization takes 15-20 minutes by itself. I've traveled over the weekends, just last actually, and have yet to encounter a Q. As always, timing & planning is everything. Not rocket science. If you had and EV and lived, used them in TH, nothing would need to be explained to you. The amount of new CSs surprises myself, and they are popping up everywhere. PTT Parks especially, as starting to see more stations w/CSs than without, which makes sense, as their subsidiary will be building EVs & the batteries for them. If the state owned oil company providing CSs, EVs and battery production isn't enough of a hint which way TH is headed ... well, nuff said.
  20. Politicians are elected ... blame game, look no further than the mirror. Don't like the way the system works, stop crying about it, and act to change it ... or leave. You have choices, live with them.
  21. You need to get out more. Along with being here/TH. Also, if house was built with solar installation in mind when designed, you probably wouldn't be able to see the panels any way. A roof with a slight pitch is preferred. You can't see our panels, if standing in front of the house or from a distance. You'd never notice them. I'm actually surprised how many house I see with solar, considering there's not govt incentives or assistance. No practical plan to buy back excess. You'd notice solar if looking for, especially when riding the elevated rail lines at Krung Thep. Our installer probably puts in 3 to 5 systems a week. Only took them 1 day to install ours. They're non stop working.
  22. And quite the under performer compared to the new Nio. You get what you pay for ..... along with never having to pay for petrol, oil changes, tune ups. I personally wouldn't buy either, but you can't compare entry level ICEVs to some of the newer EVs. They are way out spec'd.
  23. Only 1.7M baht, and the price of many imports from JP here. Less than some of the silly price Yanks pay for trucks & cars in USA. 1M is my limit for 4 wheels, and not exactly happy about that Point A to B with a bit of performance & comfort is all I need. Ouch ... 2023 Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve Price: $62,630 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 Price: $71,895 2023 Toyota Tundra Capstone Price: $77,645 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate Price: $82,500 2023 Ram 1500 TRX Price: $85,050 2023 Ford F-150 Limited Price: $83,010
