Been using "ABC drier" for a few years now, with heating element & fan on top, all plastic. Works great, for fruits & jerky. Sold out on Shopee, don't think we paid that much for it, as didn't buy it on Shopee:

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2022)
KhunLA replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
+1 ... enjoyed that also. Jack Ryan S03, good as expected. Watching 'Echo 3' now, and also quite good. 6.5 on IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12762512/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 Echo 3 ... a bit 'woke' but tolerable. Checking off all the boxes, gay, interracial, handicapped. If that bugs you, may want to give it a pass. Kind of funny, as wife & myself watching, lesbian, check, handicapped, not main character, but at formal dress wedding, and titanium leg exposed, shy of knee, not just an ankle shot. Next one I predicted, as male actor states "my husband wouldn't like that" ... wife is like, 'did he just say husband'. Yep ... me "all they need now is interracial couple & all checked off". Next scene, the husband is white, check. Wife laughing her A$$ off.... 2 checked off in 1 actor. Get past it though, as well worth a watch. Almost like watching a sporting event on TV now. Next 'woke' character show up in the scene and it's like "score" ... Ok check that off. While I'm at it, the most woke thing I've seen, though again, it was quite enjoyable ... "Bad Sisters" ... gays, handicapped, interracial, and almost every white male character was an a-hole. Just the title tells you it will be male bashing. Famous English Singer Sam Smith visits Samui Island
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Yea, it wasn't a planned night out. Bought extra tickets for daughter's friends, who backed out at last minute, so stuck with 4. Managed to sell 2 at the venue, but had 2 left. So either sell cheap, as show was about to start, or actually go in. Needed to kill less than 2 hours, as needing to come back & get daughter & friend, our simply go in. They were a pleasant surprise, not that I'd pay to see them or buy their music, but enjoyable. Note to self: buy for daughter +1 in future. -
do your research and buy from 'flagship' store or authorized reseller, and should be happy with your purchase. Their sites will, should have links to their flagship and or authorized sellers, and only use those links. ex: Xiaomi:

I wouldn't venture into a place that played that style of music, as not a fan of, or can relate to. If it came on the radio (which is why I no longer listen to) but if I did, I'd turn the channel. Only know a few 'pop' folks, Bieber & such, because of daughter will play via bluetooth in the car, which she has a good ear for, and knows what I would like. Actually went to 1D concert when at BKK, and not an unpleasant experience and see the attraction for the youngins. First 'boy band/singers' (1D) I've seen in concert, non instrument players. Enjoy the Temptations of days past, but they also had a kick A$$ band behind them on later albums. Daughter actually listens to the lyrics, and likes singing, harmonizing groups, so likes some of the Eagles & CSN stuff. Even Ozzy & Lennon, and cracked me up the other day ... stated she's tired already of being a "working class hero".???? -

I usually fast forward through the long, usually annoying intro/credits to movies. Bond movies especially, as nothing to see relating to the movie. ... sorry Sam, over to YT, as curious now. Good voice range, song sucks, can't relate. -

Yes, say Bieber to most folks over 50, and they'll roll their eyes, but that's one talented dude. Say .. Cher, Celine Dion ... and OMG, such talent. Their voice, and marketing is their only talent, as rarely if ever write their songs or play an instrument. Let alone something they did write, becomes a hit. -

With the new pronouns, you're guess is as good as mine. I just got this image, or a couple blokes/feminist, sitting at the pub, or hair dressers, chit chatting ... "men, can you believe it, how they treat us" Typing that, when a non-binary person uses the pronoun 'they', is it singular or plural. Guess it is all in the delivery, but if talking about people they don't know, I guess it can be both. Think I'll just stick with what I was taught, male (having penis)/he/him, female (no penis)/she/her. Less confusing. 'it' covers the rest of the alphabet. edit: him ???? -

Ditto ... google/wiki, and still nothing rings a bell. Did have a chuckle reading wiki ... "Smith is the godparent of close friend and collaborator Jimmy Napes's son. They identify as a feminist." ???? -

Certainly don't need a drone to be a perv, and actually not the best choice, since not exactly very stealth, or decent camera at distance. -

DeSantis’s request for COVID vaccine probe denounced by health experts
KhunLA replied to Scott's topic in World News
development has nothing to do with it. It's the mandates to force people to get an experimental drug, to attend school or work that is the issue. Vaccines effectiveness is very questionable ... IMHO Seasonal flu vaccines average <40% effective over past 15ish years (CDC stats) Covid vaccine speaks for itself, obviously does NOT prevent infection. ... I don't accept new definition of vaccine ... Chicken Pox, measles, mumps, and don't know many vaccinated that didn't at least have a case of chicken pox. Polio vaccine seemed to actually work. Here's a report the ineffectiveness of influenza vaccines, and worse, more than a few years, the morbidity rate was higher among vaccinated ???? "However, among middle school students, morbidity was not lower in the vaccinated group than in the unvaccinated group in any of the 10 seasons. In fact, morbidity was significantly higher among the vaccinated middle school students than among the unvaccinated middle school students in 8 of the 10 years." https://bmcinfectdis.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12879-022-07898-y#:~:text=According to the United States,–2015 season [2]. -

KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
Unfortunately, it's the way of the world ... the few ruined it for responsible people. Guessing they looked at the cyclists' accident/injury/death numbers, and most were going down. In that aspect, it makes sense ... to error on the side of safety, if cyclist are causing accidents to self & others. Same with everything else, hobbies & such, as drone operators all got painted with same brush also, because of the idiots. The only reason for laws, rules & regulations ... IDIOTS -
7 Airlines To Slash Airfares By Up To 20% From Jan. 2023

There is nothing in TH worth seeing or doing that I'd pay high airfares for to endure sitting in the back of the bus on any long trip.
