  1. Don't 'refuse to acknowledge', but 'most beautiful' statement fails to acknowledge, the world is full of beautiful women .... everywhere. Women and people are the same worldwide ... my experience anyway. For the record ... I'm male. Married 4 times, and on #2 Thai wife, been together, soon to be 16 yrs. Should be the last wife, although I did say that 3 times before.
  2. May want to be a bit more specific; restaurants close, stop selling alcohol, malls / shops, public trans. Google new Blue Zone allowances. Make sure no updates today ... ????
  3. Yep ... absolutely nothing special about Thai women. Just depends what flavour you prefer. Only difference I know, for SEA, they are cheaper to rent, than the USA, if renting is your preference.
  4. Holy Buddha ... just convert over to ink tanks. HP cartridges are the silliest priced. If you can't convert, simply buy a new printer with ink tanks. Probably cheaper and better than what you're using now anyway. Upgrade & save money ... win win
  5. 'Anothercon' is the least of my worries. Need a N95 just to breathe outdoors, a few months of the year in Krung Thep & northward of. 'Green' areas & canals are coming along nice though. Can't wait till rainy season for a visit. ????
  6. That's the whole down side of living there, it takes 1 hour to do that, then once 'somewhere', enjoy an hour cruising around, leaving you with a 4 hr ride. More time than I want to be on 2 wheels. Even a nice relaxing 'destination' and it's still 2 hrs each way. Not enjoyable.
  7. yep ... almost feel sorry for folks that live somewhere where the silliness is enforced ... almost.
  8. and most other Asian & economically depressed countries around the world.
  9. About the only fish I eat (at home), or at all, besides an occasion whole grilled fish at vendor or take-away. Makro, and <600 baht a kg, in freezer case. Portioned filets, and probably farm raise. Eat salmon once a week at home. Whole grilled fish from vendor, maybe once a month.
  10. Approximately 80 % of reports are from healthcare people, and most verified. So for me, very reliable as a reference tools. Other opinions who don't research will obviously differ.
  11. To the title...hell NO Forced hospitalization, a money grab, without the need for meds or a ventilator is just plain silly.
  12. Thankfully the police have more common sense than policy makers, and reassuring many are now not living in fear of the air they breathe.
  13. To the title ... greed. Because they can, and will, until they can't.
  14. Agree. Title implied they did something wrong. It is called Test & Go ... they went. Not their fault the scheme is a complete failure.
  15. OP, this is what you're hearing about, and the one you should get. Once or twice a year, JIC ???? Depending on your diet of course.
  16. To the title .... try ... NO To the OP ... "will I be having better quality relationships if I'm speaking thai?" Oh hell yea, and you'll avoid the whole P4P that most seem to live on. Pay for it, nah, that's completely unnecessary, unless really fat & ugly. Picked up enough to get by on my own, and if on my own, would pick up and learn a bit more, but find it unnecessary. With newer translation apps, it's completely unnecessary, for any language, though learning would be convenient. Simply too lazy and no need to now.
  17. If your drinking alcohol for a buzz, sugar is the least of your worries. ..... moderation Actually drink very little alcohol. Kind of like my liver, and can't remember last time I got past a couple (2) Mojitos or 1 liter of beer. Over a decade since last time I had a hangover. Kid's stuff, and cut that out when I hit 50 yrs old.
  18. Price is the sticking point for me. Even though long run, they'll pay for themselves vs petrol & maintenance, that's a big leap for range and performance / highway speed. Range being limited to a slower speed, and for Thailand, a few more EVs on the road, and the now adequate charging stations will have Qs, longer than I'd want to wait, as out & about more than most. The convenience of topping up the ICE in 5 minutes, is a fair trade for once or twice a year killing 45 minutes at the dealer, sipping coffee on the internet, waiting for the oil change or tune up. Around town, they, EVs really can't be beat. Way to practical. I drive my E-motorcycle & ebike a few times a day. Our ICE, maybe once a week. Countries need to do a lot more non fossil fuel energy, but that's not happening anytime soon. Dictated by the way too powerful oil cartels.
  19. Let me know when the thread gets back to EV of all kinds. Isn't there an ICE vs EV thread ? There should be.
  20. GBP loss against the THB had nothing to do with a 'free floating' market, or what is suppose to resemble it. That was punishment for Brexit. You can thank the Rothschilds / Central Banking / EU for that.
