  1. I know nothing about you problems but I am sorry.... Sometimes "the family is the worst!" I had that experience but after cutting all ties no more problems. They don't know what country I am in. Hell - not even what continent 😉 Not that I care.... Happy cruising but if you think you'll be free there, think again. No escape nether. Take flights around the globe. One Alaska Luxury Cruise was enough for me. It's was like floating asylum. They sold "Whale Watching" small boat trips for $ 100. I said "I see whales free at dining room..."
  2. You are in EU? Simply get residency in country without inheritance tax. I did. Or, use US banks. "Countries like Belgium, France, Spain and the UK impose relatively high inheritance taxes, particularly on distant relatives or non-family heirs. In contrast, nations like Austria and Sweden have done away with inheritance taxes altogether, making them attractive destinations for those looking to minimize their estate tax burdens." The world; https://www.lorenz-partners.com/list-of-countries-with-no-inheritance-tax/
  3. NEW BIG sign at 30-day counter: "NO DONATIONS ACCEPTED" - What is this country coming to.... PS. Walked by today 2pm. The place was buzzing. Long lines.
  4. My vote to Slovenia too! They've proven to be smart and intelligent in many issues; https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53343671
  5. Thanks for the tip but at Thepprasit location they were very shallow. Won't be sunken at all. No good... That Lazada one look good, it's deep. Mine is deeper.
  6. Let's all move to Spain! https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/relocated-spain-six-years-ago-132759175.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9zZWFyY2gueWFob28uY29tL3NlYXJjaD9wPXJldGlyaW5nK2luK3NwYWluJmZyPXlmcC10JmZyMj1wJTNBZnAlMkNtJTNBc2ImZWk9VVRGLTgmZnA9MSZndWNjb3VudGVyPTE&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAMhKjNNT0zOzbTtN2z7aExCDHq-OfeeuOlw7roUukefmMCh5I29l3ocifZAItEw45PfoTn0hvjB8CXpufrQDjBtwNBmCyxejIra0og1k3YZPcq0bBtPdpPPkhaI99yKFt0pv2HnDHeXvC1VEkmhErXJcoMwLUFFR1uWz-2ppI59d
  7. In rental apartments I just cook it in open SS pot. Takes 10min, slowly stir it now and then. No need for special cooker.
  8. I never undertood people who brag how expensive things they got. Or how much money they spend. It may be they want to boost their poor self confidence? But come across like fools... Yes, I get kick of getting what I want and paying minimum for it. Like Germans - they are "thrifty", not cheap. PS. You missed one thing to make fun of too; I walked 10km rather than taking 10 THB taxi! Why? 'cause I want to show of my flat firm stomach to my 24yr younger Thai friend. She loves my body... 😉
  9. This sounds like fun for coffee fanatics and the price is OK (Free); https://www.pattayamail.com/travel/thailands-largest-beach-coffee-festival-plus-free-concert-in-pattaya-nov-22-24-478295 What kind of music? Do you know these bands?
  10. I walked 10km and checked many stores, like Mr-DIY, hard ware stores, swap meets and ended to Big-C. There I saw SS kitchen sink strainer (99 B) and "saw the light". That's it! However, it was too shallow. On the way back saw small store across Supalai condo. They had what I wanted, deep one with large flange. Price 25 B. If you need same they had 3 more. It's perfect. Looks like this, 4cm deep; https://www.fruugo.co.uk/2-pcs-kitchen-sink-strainer-basket-stainless-steel-sink-drain-filter-kitchen-tools-and-gadgets-sink/p-76664614-154835933
  11. I've been sucking her toes, should be OK
  12. Thanks! Did't think about that.
  13. I never heard that! How STUPID is this... I don't drink but to have such a silly rule in "World class destination!" The specific regulation that bans the sale of alcohol in Thailand from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM is formally known as the "Afternoon Alcohol Sale Ban." This ban restricts the sale of alcoholic beverages in various settings during this three-hour window."
  14. OP - don't be afraid to come outta closed! Specially in Thailand. They'll love you and you get many friends. If you need a friend to support you I can walk you through "Boy's Town" on Jomtien beach. I'm straight but when I take short cut 20-something pretty boys run after me and pinch my S... You may like that? I tell them "Sorry, I am married". They understand and leave alone but inform me; "If things change we are here!" Let people live their lives as they want to. If your child were different would you push him/her under the bus?
  15. Great! This what everyone should do. Were you a pilot? If so you already saw all that from above 🙂but RV'ing is living among different people.
  16. No need to get upset - this is Thailand. That is only a small piece of street. The whole Jomtien's beach been f'd up
  17. Only idiots don't understand; It's a VISA for certain days. Clearly marked when to get the hell outta Dodge. No reporting - just drag your S out. Period.
  18. Show me EU law that says so! There ain't one.
  19. Thanks! Enough info now to run around and find it. Twinings Earl Gray Black Tea (if I find them!) bag prices are gone so high this is better for me.
  20. Usually, yes, but I bough Thai tea and they keep floating.... Never seen that. Very good taste!
  21. Where to buy it?
  22. Thanks! Where can I buy it? I don't use net shops.
  23. I bought bag of loose tea but can't find container to use it. At home I have many, like "double spoon" w holes and egg size metal ball to fill up and dip to a cup. I've been to swap meets and small and big shop - no luck. Thais don't know what I'm talking about. Maybe they put tea crumbs to the cup? What to use? A sock 🙂 Pic; https://www.jiomart.com/p/homeandkitchen/stainless-steel-green-tea-ball-infuser-5-0-cm-ideal-for-green-tea-loose-leaf-tea-tea-bags/592342098 This "double spoon" is beter go down to Tools; https://mositea.com/blogs/tea-basics/loose-leaf-tea-101-basics
  24. I was there couple of time and they did all numbers over an hour past closing time. I think they are good on that.
  25. OP - maybe they read you success stories among various Thai ladies and are jealous? https://aseannow.com/topic/1341717-best-ideas-for-dates-in-bangkok/page/9/#comment-19385685
