Trump's (hidden) assets? Reported value 1 231 500 000.00 (vnd) https://trump-hostel.nha-trang-top-hotels.com/en/

Yes, that's always best. At Cam Ranh / Nha Trang airport CXR you take a 50min bus to Yersin station; "Bus/shuttle Bus stop is located in front of the Terminal Entrance. Bus tickets are available at the Reception Hall. The bus fare is VNĐ 65,000/per person and it takes about 45 minutes to Nha Trang City. Buses are available from 5:30 am untill 11pm. From there you can walk 5-6 blocks, on Yersin, toward the beach. "Palace Hotel" is 1/2 block off the beach. Booking shows 4160000 VND / 6000THB for 6 nites w breakfast for two. Along the 7 mile beach are maybe 100 or more hotels. A block back 2-300 more, all cheaper. One trick I use; First booking is always cheapest on all agencies. So I switch and use many of them one time. They want you to join and create account.

How Safe Are You - Living in Thailand?

Trump's dumb trade wars against Canada, China and Mexico cost us billions... or trillions. -
I put same question to my new Vietnamese friends and they said it was Chinese land buying frenzy that made Vietnam to put brakes on all foreigner transactions. They didn't want to single out Chinese buyers since they are important trading partners. https://e.vnexpress.net/news/news/chinese-acquisition-of-prime-land-worries-vietnam-defense-ministry-4101238.html I see many attractive buys here, in Nha Trang, and would be interested in buying something if it was possible. This is a very nice beach town! I like it here a lot. Just extended my stay second time an other 10 days and if my ticket to the US wasn't non refundable I'd stay longer.... Yes, Vietnamese DON'T smile w/o good reason (like Thais) but they are not rude or unfriendly. They stay neutral. They also are shy and 90% of older adults don't speak English. PS. Still not a Paradise; Food sucks, Traffic sucks, Smokers every where sucks.

The whole family is rotten opportunistic windbags; "When the former president looked finished, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner kept their distance. Now he is the Republican frontrunner, they’re once again by his side"

Very sensible thing to stop wasting millions, or billions, for nothing. El Paso TV asked Mexican at the border, US side, "How did you clear the 10ft wall?" "With HOME Depot's 12ft ladder...."

I'm not a "beach person" but can't help liking more and more NhaTrang city beach! Easy to walk from hotel for morning swim, exercise and just sit down to watch blood red sun raising 6am. https://beachsearcher.com/en/beach/704201134/nha-trang-beach Everything's so clean, no plastic bottles, no trash. Wide walk way for 7km with shade trees. Plenty of people on the beach already 5am. Young and old. Many dancing groups too. Soon I may to start to ask condo prices... but when clean hotels are only $ 9 to 26/nite for 2 why bother? I planned to check out two or three other beach cities but since this is near perfect I stay here for an other 2-3 weeks. The only thing that irritates is too many motobikes. Luckily they don't honk much here like in Saigon. The city is crowing too and noise will be bigger in future. Same with exhaust pollution. I checked one bad day and it was 65, about the same as bad day on Jomtien. They do have quite good transportation service but most use motobike. The food is best I found in Vietnam but not even close as in Thailand. The price is same or less. They don't have chicken! It's 90% pork which is good but too heavy for me. If you find chicken it's 2x the price of pork. Fish is plenty but I only eat if I see it alive first...

"Russian media mocks Trump supporters as “not very smart,” “rednecks,” and “primitive people” who you have to talk to with “cliches and dumb slogans.” A year ago they, Russian RT tv, praised Trump! Times are changing.... What ever reason now they prefer Biden.

McCarthy era is well and alive 🙂 "Let's Make America Paranoid Again" "During the late 1940s and early 1950s, the prospect of communist subversion at home and abroad seemed frighteningly real to many people in the United States. These fears came to define–and, in some cases, corrode–the era’s political culture. For many Americans, the most enduring symbol of this “Red Scare” was Republican Senator Joseph R. McCarthy of Wisconsin. Senator McCarthy spent almost five years trying in vain to expose communists and other left-wing “loyalty risks” in the U.S. government."

I think they miscalculated. It should be $ 5000 or 150 000 000 VND 🙂 - I brought about 20 milj VND in cash, no problems at border, I asked - In shopping Vn money gives me problems all the time, too many zeros, but people are honest and correct me

Please, stand by your boy. He needs you; "The scholars ranked Abraham Lincoln first, followed by Franklin D. Roosevelt, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson. Of the more recent presidents, Barack Obama ranked highest (#7), followed by Bill Clinton (#12), Joe Biden (#14), Ronald Reagan (#16), George H. W. Bush (#19), Jimmy Carter (#22), Gerald Ford (#27) and George W. Bush (#32). But it was Trump’s ranking that’s been getting the most attention. He was not only ranked last overall, but nearly last even by conservative scholars, who ranked him 43rd out of 45, and Republicans, who put him at 41."

Usually when farang woman gets married to the US prez the whole home country is proud. Not Melania's. Poor woman... had to suffer humiliation. Maybe the new one of bronze has long life? Melania Trump sculpture in Slovenia set on fire on US Independence Day. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53343671

Here's an excellent sample of Trump voters....

Rodney King; I just want to say – you know – can we, can we all get along? Can we, can we get along? Can we stop making it horrible for the older people and the kids?

Puzzy.... "If you give kids a knife and piece of wood they shave and shave till they end having a toothpick" "If you give men an item to talk they talk and talk until they end talking about puzzy..."

I've been in Vietnam for 2 weeks. First in Da Lat, then in Pha Rang/Thap Cham and now in Nha Trang. I like it here! Awesome beach boulevard, nice long beach that looks like mini Ipanema and clean sand without hundreds of ugly sunshade sellers etc like in Jomtien and Pattaya. This city is way nicer than DaNang. People are friendly and many speak English. Children want to practice it too. I was amazed to hear some 3-5 yrs old spoke very well and told they learned to speak with Apple App! What ever that is... I also took a train from Thap Cham to Nha Trang and that was interesting. I'll do it again. Ticket was 76000vnd or $ 3.15 for 100km. Come and see youself; Direct flight from DMK to Cam Ranh, then cheap bus to Nha Trang centrum. Hotels are dirt cheap; I got nice room, 1 block from the beach, in modern apartment hotel $ 16/nite. Russians are still here but they are well off type and educated and nice. I got lost 2 times in dark city and they Googled me home. Every time I get lost in some place I always ask tourists - they know better than locals! Ladies are not easy like in Thailand but you can make great friends which is what I did and I'm 100% happy.

Not quite true; https://abc7news.com/archive/6331218/ I remember that time and it was controversial and I see why Putin felt Russia being attacked. I don't say US and NATO did wrong but it wasn't handled skillfully. The whole Ukraine thing sucks. Never before we Europeans had as good relationship with Russia and now that's gone for ever. Many Americans went to visit Russia too. I love to visit museums. I had planned to get a visa and go to St Petersburg to see art collections which are one of the best.

The problem started with Obama for not taking action when Putin stole Crimea. That was a clear signal to Putin.

swissie; better read IRS pages; https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/us-citizens-and-residents-abroad-filing-requirements "Your income, filing status, and age generally determine whether you must file a return. Usually, you must file a return if your gross income from worldwide sources is at least the amount shown for your filing status in the filing requirements table in chapter 1 of Publication 54, Tax Guide for U.S. Citizens and Resident Aliens Abroad." Immigration has nothing to do with IRS problems. However, Trump may change that too...

I agree. Where's Ross Perot? Is he alive? Would be more qualified than Donald 🙂 - He is from Texas and as everybody knows "the best comes from Texas!"
-
I don't think so. Donny Boy's been on Israeli Jews short leash all the time, supervised by Mossad planted son-in-law overlooking secret docs over his shoulder. "American president Donald Trump, who signed the presidential proclamation, also ordered the relocation of the American diplomatic mission to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv."

Thank you for many great stories about happy time in Thailand! I'm still looking for a place somewhere in the world. Or I may go back to work. I've done that twice already and was more happy than doing nothing meaningful. To have a good relationship is a key for good retirement - I think. So hard to find....

The whole election system is a fraud. It should be; one person - one vote, directly. Period.

Yes, IF you're working, but if you only have SS that's less than 15k (I think) no reporting. The yearly limit is on the tax form. I prefer to report "just in case". It's easy. I also report all bank accounts and interests even if they are below the required limit. IRS is nothing to mess with. My long time IRS official friend told me; "IRS is looking variations on income. If there's no big changes they don't bother to look closely." He also said; "If there is no tax burden better to report too much than too little." I've been doing that.

You feel more happy to be here or any farang soil. And unfortunately, it's "when", not "if".
