  1. I discussed this with a Thai doctor I knew when the law came out. Their opinion was the hospital needs a major extension to it. Laws are great but the possible consequences have to be considered before passing a law.
  2. Can a 14 year old get a license? I didnt think they could but I could be wrong. There are two major things wrong and these are: 1. The driving test is a joke both for cars and bikes and 2. The law enforcement / fines are totally failing. Strong laws are required to make the consequences of driving without license, insurance or under the influence so sever that only a fool would break them. If that is enforced then there may be a reduction is lives being wasted.
  3. I dont think the universe is different in Udon to the rest of the world. Maybe your sense of direction is askew.
  4. From the photo there does not appear to be anything to stop people going on the land, neither is there any sign I can see that tells you it is private property. As such there would appear, but Thai law will probably be different, to be nothing that indicates the land is privately owned.

  14. Is a high speed train a wise thing to have in Thailand? After all there are many accidents with the trains they currently have, primarily with vehicles thinking they can beat a train and end up realising they cant. I would think infrastructure, not the train but the rails and safety systems for both train and people need to be upgraded significantly first. Further, who, apart from Chines coming into the country will be using it and what will the cost be to passengers?
  15. Not a direct answer to the question but for a trip good planning is needed I am sure no one would disagree. Lonely Planet have good maps that are waterproof of Thailand and they are not expensive. Just a suggestion but I have found them to be very informative.
  16. If the child is not living with you, you are basically sponsoring NOT adopting them. Big difference.
  17. The Safe-T-Cut should feed the distribution box where you have the CB's. If it doesn't then you need your wiring seriously to be looked at.
