I think the "only 2 rooms left" are not related to the overall rooms in the hotels but to the quota of booking.com . They are allowed to sell only part of the overall quantity. One hotel told me once that 1 entire floor is reserved by agents and the hotel is not allowed to use those on their own. if booking.com holds only 3 rooms in this particular hotel and 1 is booked already there are only 2 more left even if the hotel is mostly empty.

Some photocopy and postal service shops still offer fax service. Maybe it is also worth to check out business centers in hotels.

Every legal copy of Windows has a paid license included. From that perspective every copy of Windows without a license is an unauthorized version. And by using Windows you have to agree to the user terms. At least Microsoft most probably sees it that way. quote "Activation helps verify that your copy of Windows is genuine and hasn’t been used on more devices than the Microsoft Software License Terms allow. Of course there will be different opinions here. Licensed software is always a topic of different viewpoints.

Not sure if Microsoft will agree with that.

I doubt that you really will receive a legal Windows licence key for 99 Baht. Microsoft does not sell the software so cheap. I remember the days when Pantip Plaza sold counterfeit licenses everywhere. The keys worked for a while but were definitely not legal. Of course you can argue that a counterfeit license is ok if it works. Everyone has to make an own decision.

Have you ever been to Isaan and lived there for a while? Or only in Pattaya? The majority of Isaan woman have never been in Pattaya.
-
Correct, but you about girls in Pattaya. (coming from Isaan). He was saying "And most of the girls married in Isaan aren't bar girls". I agree with that. I agree that most bar girls in Pattaya come from Isaan but they are not the majority of girls in Isaan. Or do I misunderstand the Pattaya connection?

To be fair Pattaya is not really typical for Thailand.

What's the best way to dispose of old computers (Bangkok)
msbkk replied to Bubbha's topic in IT and Computers
The security guards in my condo building like to sell such items to buyers of recycle waste who come here on a regular basis to ask for bottles, cans, metal, plastic and so on. If I deposit such items near the trash the maids are quick to take them away or call the mentioned guards to pick them up. -
If you think that monthly testosterone might be responsible try a half dose 2 times per month to avoid spikes.

Phuket Overstay Crackdown Nets Seven Foreign Nationals

Except in case there is no money left anymore to pay for these options and the assistance. I guess some of these overstayers live day by day. -
Real genital warts will grow like cauliflower, the problem will only get more serious. And they are highly contagious. They may go away but not in all cases. Do you really want to have an eye sore at your most sensitive body parts for 2 years?

How do you plan to cure something you do not know really exists? A doctor will be able to diagnose the problem and give proper treatment advice.

Thanks. I managed my trip by driving far past the closed motorway and restartet GPS. At that point GPS showed another route to choose from. Without restarting it would be impossible to get out of that maze. There are several narrow unfinished and not even paved roads in that area.

Be careful if driving from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi or opposite way by using Google GPS . At least at the moment GPS will direct you to the new motorway which is still under construction and open only on certain holidays (and or weekends). I just made a 2 days trip and it was an absolute mess. On the way to Kanchanaburi (If I remember correct around Nakhon Pathom) GPS directed me to the entrance of the motorway which was blocked completely. You can turn left but you will be stuck in a never ending loop which again brings you to the same blocked entrance. There were a lot of frustrated drivers driving the same loop again and again. On the way back to Bangkok GPS noted that due to road closures I have to use a specified route which is the fastest. And again I was at a blocked entrance of the same highway with no way out. It was so confusing that a helpful security guard drove a while with his motorcycle in front of my car to show me the way out. I guess that Google will at some point correct the GPS system. Just as a point of caution please study the way before your journey and do not rely on GPS only.

To be fair the salad buffet of Sizzler does include soups, fruits and desserts if I remember correctly.

Around 8 USD shipping is not really outrageous for an international parcel. Go to any post office in a western country and you will see that 8 USD are in fact very reasonable. Of course your order value of just 23 USD in this case is quite low so that shipping seems to be high but is in fact not.

I received a prepaid tax package from Iherb last week. The parcel was brought by Flash Express to my home without any issues. Of course it makes purchases more expensive but you can have a peace of mind instead having to deal with customs.
