It’s time for US to do more business in Thailand : Thai PM
bbko replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Here's some interesting reading concerning US-Thai business agreement; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Amity_and_Economic_Relations_(Thailand–United_States) -
After reading what some of you folks go through, I'm happy with my PEA service here on Pattaya's Darkside, unless there's a big thunderstorm, our power goes off maybe once a month.

The Mrs & are are just getting over our 3 day flu; body aches, fever/chills, sore throat, cough, runny nose. Easily treated at home with the standard over the counter pills. And here's something to rile up the anti-vaxers, this bout wasn't as bad or lasted as long as previous times, that god we both got the covid vaccine...555.

Over on the Darkside, there's a shop that works on sofas & chairs. I've only had a motorbike seat recovered by them but it wasn't over the top for pricing and their work held up for years. It's on Khao Noi between the train tracks and Top supermarket (same side). And there's a 2nd sofa repair shop just about 20 meters up the hill from the one shown. https://www.google.com/maps/@12.9240522,100.9080141,3a,34.4y,158.82h,90.91t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s0PtHg7j7vgA9tqHpPJwVlg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

Sober for what? 2 weeks? You'll be back.

As with many situations, a lot depends on the parents, are they involved in the child's education? How smart are the parents and their education level? Giving them good advice? Take an interest in who they hang around with? Or do they let the kid play on the phone all evening? Don't know or care who the friends are? Are the Parents a combo ex-bargirl and the father some low level job profession that hangs out in the bars?

It's a common dish all around Thailand, if you order some, let them know the spicey level you prefer, also you can opt for a fried egg on top. Pad krapow, kai dow.

Actually, yes. I was standing in ankle deep water during a Thai thunderstorm and having lighting strike a few hundred meters away, I felt the instant shock, the numbness in the legs for the next hour. That was 10 years ago, zero side effects. We don't know the voltage or amperage they were exposed to, but it sounds minimal as they were able to sit in the water for some time.

Being a criminal is hard work. -
Just out of curiosity, why would someone need a lubricant when joining pvc? Or are there other uses besides pvc?

According to the American guy; mental rape, post traumatic stress disorder, aquaphobia, loss of bowel control, itchiness, loss of balance, tingling in extremities, slurred speech, temporary blindness, profuse sweating, erectile dysfunction, loss the sense of taste, heart palpitations, turophobia, Francophobia, & consecotaleophobia. It's the American version of winning the lottery, "Oh some minor incident happened to me? I need to sue for millions".

Bravo, you want a cookie?

Yes, I live on Pattaya's Darkside and it's very easy to find 30b watermelon, 25 baht fruit drinks, 40b meals, etc.

Given the average age of the late night beach road tourist (70) and the likelihood of them having poor eyesight/cataracts, the number of men in drag, the number of pickpocket stories, the number of crimes, the number of tree rats, bright lights are a good deterrent. Some people can find the negative in the littlest things.

Could you see yourself wearing a gold chain
bbko replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
A question for those that have been around Pattaya many years back, there used to be a big New Zealand or Aussie guy that was well known around town and for wearing big gold chains, always sitting on Beach Road, anyone remember that guy? Looked like a NZ version of Mr T. -
There's lots of youtube videos on how to make bread using an air fryer, seems pretty easy, I'll have to give it a try one day.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, 3 days is about all I can take of Issan country life, If I've been there for 5 days, it means I've been dead for two, 555. I remember years back visiting the in-laws and their town just got a new big Tesco supermarket with a KFC, we visited the place and the in-laws said it was very hi-so ????
