  1. I want this day to last forever. Life is not fair, I still feel like a spoiled child. What are the actual benefits of being this old? I don't see any. I guess I can now live forever in Thailand on retirement visa? What an amazing benefit. What else? Give me something positive you aged misbegottens.
  2. This is the cost, but there are certain perks with this that are banned in Canada.
  3. Yes, of course used car salesmen will give ur money back.
  4. Speak to my wife if you or anyone is serious about this as she still has connections at CP. She used to work as a location scout and franchiser for 7/11 in Bangkok area. The 2 year break even number is nonsense. There are (or they were) 3 types of 7/11 investments; type A B and C depending on how much money are you willing to risk. Most of that money goes as a deposit towards your store and the rest would be the actual investment. Your take home salary on a 2 million baht investment would probably be around 30-40k a month.... if you are lucky. Still.... a better investment than a bar. This is a short version.
  5. I think it is a good deal.
  6. No, it is not. It is very easy, easier than Amazon. You do have only 7 days tho. I have bought 1 new and 2 used laptops from Lazada in the past year. NO issues whatsoever. The last throwaway laptop I bought was Thinkpad X250 which I only paid 2,800 baht. Works great, but it does come with wear and tear and a fake windows 10 copy.
  7. Doubt she will get anything better than King Power. My wife quit from a Japanese company 1 year ago thinking it would be easy for her. She changed 2 jobs with a lower salary. Only by pure luck because I told her to put her resume on LinkedIn did she get hired remotely by US company 5 months ago. But even then although the salary is higher, all the benefits like healthcare and provident fund are gone. I know King Power has both because one of her friends works there.
  8. Maybe you should offer rhem something they cqn not resist......sticky rice ballz
  9. Seriously? Locals? The condo developers buy the land. I know a girl who's father owns the land and house next to the abandoned Sathorn Unique.... maybe 10 Rai. Offered 2 billion baht 15 years ago. He declined the sale because the land as you say was passed from generation to generation and is meant for future generations and not immediate enrichment.
  10. Terrible. Honestly, pure slop. Only in Thailand would this pass as food.
  11. So what? It is for the show. Even in Taiwan not all foreigners can stay on marriage visa if they are gay. Hint. It will not happen during your lifetime. Even now the Thai government has to deal with all the fake marriages between certain nationalities who use it to stay illegally. Recognizing gay marriages will open a massive can of worms.
  12. I dunno. I always find it when someone posts on a forum how lucky they are they are usually compensating for something..... like paying for sex while holding resentment about those poor UK butlers screwing other people's wives for free.
  13. So, In facto de facto not your wife really
  14. Don't forget that in Thailand Honda Civic is also a luxury car
  15. It surely ain't picolinate
  16. He hates Indians you hate whites
  17. I am not clear about this 60 day extension and I have been here 10 years, Do you get 1 60 d6ay extension per visa? If yes, does that mean that if you obtained your original visa years ago and used that extension once, you can not do it again unless you apply for another marriage visa? So, for example I got the visa in 2017 and used a 60 day extension the same year. Since then I have been on marriage extensions. 6 years later I want to use 60 day extension again.... can I use it or not? Is it once a year or once per visa?
  18. as soon as you mention Lamborghini and Liberia in the same sentence you know that there's a monkey business there Whille Boy Unity name itself reeks of honest dealings
  19. So you asked them? Was it in Englit or Thai? ????
  20. Are you sure I am the one who struck a nerve?
  21. I am not a multimillionaire, but I have been living in Thailand for 10 using some of the tools I mentioned, spending my 30's and 40's working for myself 2 hours a day and living the dream. If you are younger than me and do not have a single clue how to use the tools available to you which require literally 0 skills than there is something wrong with you. Instead you bash the boomers because they supposedly had it so easy, but in reality you have not a single clue what the real work is just like like you have no single clue about Thailand calling office workers "hiso" because they work in nice shiny buildings. I guess I am married to a hiso as she makes more money than the beggarly office workers you meet on your way to Nana. I never knew. Probably spent the last 4 years on Nana barstool. Is your mama's trust fund running out of money? LOL
  22. Gen X here. You are whining and complaining. There has literally never been easier time in human history to make money by literally sitting and doing nothing. Tiktok, youtube, instagram, amazon, ebay, shoppee, shopify, crypto, onlyfans..... Aren't you the one who claims office workers in Thailand are hiso? ????????
  23. Social insurance is not for the poor
  24. Wow.... a condo owner! 22sqm or 29sqm?
  25. What a bunch of crapola. That's why they have business class, first class.... so that cabin crew can kiss your behind and you can feel special. Not to mention all the dolled up asian crew members. That sure comes in handy when the plane nosedives. ROFL
