Everything you wanted to know about cholesterol but were afraid to ask ...
Are you guys too cool for school or are you up for an educational video?
It's the first time I've seen cholesterol explained this way ... and she does use a diagram which is helpful to understanding.
Dr. Boz explains why she doesn't prescribe statins. She differentiates between LDL in circulation and LDL stuck in the arterial wall. She says the statins lower the LDL levels in circulation, but it's the LDL in the arterial wall that can cause a heart attack.
LDL 1
- Not associated with heart attack
- Increased by eating saturated fat
- Lowered by statins
LDL 2 (the one stuck in the arterial wall)
- Causes heart attack
- Increased by eating processed carbs
- Not lowered by statins

I'm actually worried about the guy.
His last thread was hinting at needing to be frugal by living off of olive oil.
Then he decides to move out of Thailand to a higher cost country.
Very odd.
Vodka is a very deceptive drink. You can’t taste it, you can’t smell it. – Dylan Moran
I drink too much. Last time I gave a urine sample there was an olive in it. – Rodney Dangerfield
Yeah, but that's the game that's being played on the roads. The SUV drivers would rather you die than them, for obvious reasons.

yes, it seems to be true. I've heard other people talk about that.
I met a guy who wrote a book about that.
and the WEF motto "you will own nothing" alludes to some sort of post-capitalism.
but way too complex for me to get into now.
toodles.
There is a risk that your health will deteriorate when you work too much.
Future generations may work a lot less and retire much earlier with AI doing the heavy lifting.
But then they will need to learn how to "survive". Too much free time could lead to drug abuse, etc...
Here is a silly karma comment.
There's a man that just killed his 6 yr old son.
Of course actions like that produce serious karma.
Nothing silly about it.
The fast food inside the hospitals and bad dietary advice keeps you dependent on the medications and the for-profit medical system.
Not just in Thailand. The West too.
